Academy Of The Gifted (Roleplay)

Edited.

Nights saw the griffin approaching and stood up, making sure to grab all the bags and that Nava was securely latched onto one of her ears. As the bird-like creature landed Nights bowed to it, her ears lowering onto her head as she did so. Nava did the same then poked his head back up to look at the others upon the griffin. Nights stood up again and carefully got on, trying not to fall off or on to someone else. After which, she let Nava curls around her neck to rest.

The Griffin let out a sigh of relief, the girl was much more gentle than the past children. She let out a purr of delight (they can apparently purr now) when the girl named Nights climbed on with very gently. The Griffin wondered how these students were in combat, probably powerful. She slowly became to understand why the Headmaster chose these students. The Griffin lifted up her wings and fluffed and begin her journey into the sky, and she fly higher and higher to go off to her next location, Lunar Withers. And with that, she headed off.

OCC: Ugh, I hate these short posts. I can’t wait to get everyone to the school already. @.@ Anyway, I might change everyone’s ((Except Kizu’s, Night’s and Sapphy’s)) Final Fury Bursts. Also, my sister might be joining the RP, so yay! On another notice, I’m looking for a POSSIBLE villian character, if you want to be it, then PM me, but don’t tell anyone who you are. This may or may not happen. But yeah. That’s about it.

Lunar sighed and did a last minute check of her bags. She was just about to go over it a fourth time when she heard a strange noise outside. It sounded like birds…or an awfully big one.

Lunar peered out of her window to see a Griffin on it’s way to the landing.
Lunar was rather surprised that not many others were around.

Lunar walked out with her suitcase, it was light and surprisingly small, Lunar was a light traveler…that and her magic had it’s own little perks too.

Midna’s feathers sprouted from her head as she growled at the creature, but Lunar was there to give her a small bat on the nose.

Lunar had never seen a creature like a Griffin before, and to be honest it was a magnificent sight. Majestic was practically written all over it’s body.
Lunar walked over to it, a look of adoration on her face. She hesitated at first, but brought herself to pet it. She gently touched it on the neck, then stroked it lightly, just as she did when her Angha hatched.

“My my aren’t you beautiful” She whispered as she looked upon the beast. It’s head that of an eagle and the body of a lion. And a set of absolutely dazzling wings which one could boast of.

Her attention was diverted back to Midna though, once more she was snarling, this time her tail feathers were slightly emerging.
“Midna.” She said in a stern voice.

Midna’s eyes drifted to her owner, and her harsh front was forced to be shut away for the time being.

Lunar carefully climbed onto the Griffin, taking care not to harm it. She felt very worried that she would.
As much as she was amazed by it, she was also somewhat scared, who knows whether she would like her or not. She knew that if she wanted, the Griffin could very well overpower her, and that was gathered on sight alone.

Kabo just waited for the school. While he waits he listens to his I-Pod. He was able to afford after a summer job. It isn’t anything special, it’s only an I-pod Nano. The thing is it’s got the best songs on it. Well, the best songs to Kabo’s perspective.

“So…anyone see a good movie lately?” Kabo said trying to be talkative.

“hmm…” Kuroi thought. “Seen the movie called…uh…Gremlins i belive?..cant remember what the name is exactly. decent movie i suppose. you seen any good movies lately?..uh…Kabo is it?” Kuroi said looking foward now.

Kneeling over an elaborate chalk-drawn circle on the hard wood floor of her room, Helaina checks the small bowl of water sprinkled with small dosages of of vitamins, minerals, and acids.

“Looks like its all here,” she mutters to herself as she places her hand on the outer rim of the circle,“here goes nothing.” A millisecond passes before she feels the energy of the circle running through her vains. All of a sudden, a cloud of black smoke appears and she hears the sound of shattering glass, coughing, she rubs her blurry eyes and clears the air. On the floor lays the bowl broken, and it’s contents gone.

“Not this again!” she moans to herself. Her eyes wander to the wooden table on the otherside of the room, on it lays a small unopened letter. Her eyes shift back to the broken bowl, and back again to the letter. “Stop holding it off, just get it done and over with,” she says softly to herself.

She gets up off the floor and walks over to the table. Picking up the letter she takes a deep sigh and swallows her anxiety before tearing the letter open. Staring at the letter, a feeling of ecstasy and relief wash over her. She runs out of the room yelling,“I GOT IN! I GOT IN!” leaving the shattered bowl and failed trasmutation behind and pulled from her thoughts.

The Griffin was relieved to see yet another girl to get on with grace. It relieved her to see that another person was kind enough to try not to harm her. The Griffin was beginning to lighten up with the group of students even so lightly, she sighed a relief from her long beak. She lifted her wings into the sky. Instead of heading directly to the school like she was supposed to, there were several last minutes students to pick up. Her next stop would be Feravin, the elf who was from Earth, next would be a young boy, then a Demi - God (My sister’s character 8D ) and so on.

Cynder looked at the boy who the wolf referred to as “Kabo”. Come to think of it, she did remember reading his name off of the list. She respected him for trying to start a coversation. She put her head back, laying out on the Griffin’s back, trying not to get attention drawn to her.

The Griffin drifted to it’s new location, to get a young girl named Shirana.

OCC: We are moving on without Yuki. She will catch up later. For now on, no letters will be set out involving updates. Notifications will still be sent out for the few new people. I AM having a vote on keeping the Final Fury Blast if you want to keep it or not, just PM me or, or whatever. CONSTANTLY check the first post. I’m closing the Sign Up shortly. And some other stuff…ugh. I’m stressing out over this RP, I could use some of your help by helping me plan out this better. XD, I better not whine!

~Day One, Sometime after dinner~

Feravin looked at his bags. They were all lined up neatly, just inside the door. "There. Everything is ready for tomorrow." He ran through the list of items in his mind, making sure he had everything. Suddenly, he realized what was missing. He walked over to the shelf where he kept his sheathed swords, and moved them to the pile of things to take with him. "That's it... Are you ready for tomorrow?" He looked at Zephyrus, his pet hawk, who ruffled it's feathers in response. "Well, then. We'd better get a good night's sleep... The gryphon comes in the morning."

~Day Two, The time of the Gryphon’s Arrival~

The sound of the great beast's wing beats attracted Feravin's attention, who was inside double-checking his packing. He ran outside to see it land. "Wow..." He stroked the Gryphon down from it's head to the base of it's neck. "Such a majestic animal... Wonderful plumage." The elf went inside and returned with his possessions, which he put away swiftly. He went back in one more time to get his bird, and lock his house. He mounted the gryphon properly (Having had former training in doing so), and then made himself comfortable for the trip ahead.

OOC// Character’s name is Shirana, not Luli, Cyndy-chan. P:

The young Reaper, Shirana, had been standing in front of the main exit in the front of the large home. She had been waiting for a sign of the griffin’s arrival before opening the door. “Hm… When is that griffin thing getting here? I really cannot wait—,” she was cut-off as one of her many servants walked to her quickly.
“What is it that you need so desperately, love?,” Shirana had asked, seeing as the servant had been gasping for breath.

“Huff…huff… We regret to inform you that a bit of your letter of acceptance was… huff, failed to be delivered to you,” the servant had regained his posture shortly after finishing his sentence and handing the piece of paper to her.

“Oh, no worrie—,” she cut herself off as she read the letter. It read, “Griffin Arrival Times,” in bold print. “You… you YOCTOGRAM!,” the girl had screamed at the top of her lungs. She reached for her scythe, a smirk on her face and her glasses glaring in the light, showing only a bit of her yellow eyes to the servant who had been cowering in fear.
“You’re lucky I don’t have enough time to chop you in half right now,” she said as she adjusted her glasses, turned away, and grabbed her bags.

Lumina stared at the servant who had gotten yelled at by Shirana. The creature made the same squeaking sound it had made when he had scared Shirana earlier that day. He had begun making faces at the servant, even if the poor guy hadn’t noticed. Shirana’s faithful pet then turned its back to the servant and waited for the girl to open the door.

“So… My new school life begins if I open this door,” Shirana had said as she made it down the hallway to the front door. “Am I ready…? I really don’t know,” she said as she was questioning herself, staring at the ground beneath her. She then looked up and grabbed the handle of the door, saying, “Well then, I suppose I’ll have to see for myself if I’m ready or not. There’s no running away now.”

She pulled the door open and immediately saw the griffin. There had already been three students on the griffin. The girl walked slowly over to the griffin, her legs feeling as if she had been walking on air. Shirana, you idiot… Don’t act so scared, she had thought to herself as she tried to straight her posture and look as arrogant as possible.

Once she made her way over to the griffin, she climbed onto him slowly, trying to be gentle to the griffin. She held her scythe and her bags tightly after successfully getting on top of the beast. Lumina had stared at the beast’s feathers once the two boarded their ride to the academy. Shirana sighed almost out of relief as she realized she had been on the griffin correctly.

“So, um,” she said as she tried to make conversation with the three other students. “Hi, my name is… uh… Shirana Alicia Thanatos. It’s an odd name, I know, but I don’t care much,” she said, not knowing how to communicate with others well, “you guys can call me by my first or middle name, it doesn’t really matter to me,” she said as she finished her sentence.
“So, who are you guys? I know you’re students, of course. I mean… uh… name-wise.”

OCC: Yeah, sorry. Just noticed. Edited. Anyway, guys, check the first post. I got rid of the Final Fury Bursts and stuff. But eh whatever. I close down the Sign Up for now, MIGHT be opened at a later time we will see. A few people still need their notifications and whatnot. Plus we still need to get about six more people on the Griffins. I’m updating the schedule now. There will also be Extra-Circcular Activities, dorm description, etc, etc on the first post.

Cynder looked at the girl who just got. She wondered what her name was, but she was pretty as far as Cynder could see. Immediately, the girl had asked a question about their names. Cynder tried to respond, but only air came out. Her shyness was getting worse and she was hating it.

The Griffin lifted up his wings, floating a few inches above the sky before skyrocketing. Their next location would be to pick up a young boy this time, Jesse Tyler Dixon was his name, or so the Griffin remembered.

The Griffin watched as Feravin stroked her gently, and then got on with care. His words would ring her head, about her being a majestic animal, the Griffin’s day was beginning to lighten up, she hoped it would continue for the remainder of the day.

The Griffin began her sky voyage once more, this time to get a failed demi - god, named Helania (my sister’s character 8D)).

Heliana waits outside her regular, unextrodinary house, her eyes groggy with lack of sleep. With the sun just begining to poke its head out of the sky, she leans her head over onto the large suitcase. WIth her nerves rattling she hadn’t gotten anything close to the suggested amount of sleep, and now as the moring begins, she can feel her sleepiness settling in. She takes a look at her watch, and straightens out her skirt for the millionth time this morning. “Where is this suposed griffin? It should be here now,” she asks herself impatiently.

Then, just as she’s opening her heavy eyelids up, she spots a ginormous griffin swoop down and land on the street in front of her house. The sight seemed so odd to her, like seeing a fire burning an office building while everyone still inside, working like nothing’s changing. She stands there a minute in nervousness, before she realizes she’s expected get on it. “Oh, right!” she shouts in embaressment, her face burning fiery red. As she begins to climb on she trips, falling head first on the back of the griffin. The griffin grunts in annoyance,“I’m so sorry!” she exclaims as she gets up and straightens herself out. She looks at the head of the griffin and then to the faces of the people already boarded,“Hi everyone,” she mutters, taking a seat at last.

After he fully packed, he threw himself on his bed, holding his pillow tight.
“I can get out of here… finally. They’ll be happier since they won’t have to look after me any longer, not like they ever did…” He muttered, half rueful, half cheery. Glancing up at the clock, he took note that it was almost 1PM. The letter never said the time at which it would arrive so he turned and grabbed his bag and scanned his room once more, to see if he missed anything. Then he rushed down the stairs, his suitcase banging on each step. The noise had apparently awakened his sister, she stood on the top step, leaning over the rail.

“Brother, where are you going in such a rush?” Her soft voice called to him. My sister, he thought. I forgot about her… Turning around, he set the bag down to his side.
“I got invited, so I’m going.” He couldn’t make eye contact with her. She smiled, but he didn’t see it.
“Wow, I’m so happy for you. But, were you planning on leaving without saying goodbye?”
Vateli stuck his hands into his pockets and sighed. “I thought you went with… them.” Shaking her head no she skipped down the stairs to stand in front of him.
“I decided to stay behind.” She whispered into his ear. He took a step back and fluffed his hair with his right hand, coughing as he looked her over. She wore a red tank top with the words “TAIGIRL”, and a brown skirt that went a few inches past her knees, embroidered with all sorts of designs. “Ahah, you look like you’re planning on going to a party. I bet that’s why you stayed behind.”

She twirled around, the skirt stretching like the petals to a flower until she slowed to a stop, where they wrapped around her legs. “I suppose. But you weren’t planning on leaving Batai behind? He’d hate you forever!” Vateli rolled his eyes. “Batai’s a dog, Retarra, he’ll get over it.” She stomped on his foot and he howled in pain.
“What’d you do that for!?”
“Batai, go get him.” Scowling, he went into the kitchen, his feet clanking on the hardwood floor. He reached out and slid the back door open, calling for Batai, who ran out of his doghouse, up the porch steps, and inside, where he sat next to Vateli, barking loudly. He ruffled the dog’s fur and walked back to the living room where Retarra was waiting, Batai following faithfully.

Retarra ran up and hugged him tight, causing him to gasp in surprise before slowly wrapping his arms around her, hugging back.
“I’ll miss you…” She whispered. Vateli fought back the tears that stung at the back of his eyes.
“Hah,” He said, his voice faintly cracking. “I miss you even when you’re standing right here.” She dropped her arms and he let her go, moving backwards.
“You’ll come back and visit?”
“Of course, if I can, anyways.” Retarra punched him on the shoulder.
“Promise me!”
“Haha, ow! Okay, I promise.”
She gave him one last good-bye kiss on his cheek before dashing up the stairs. Vateli rubbed his shoulder as a tear rolled down his cheek. “I’ll… always miss you, little sis.” He turned and opened the front door, calling to Batai who ran out with glee. With one last glance at his once-was home, he went out, shutting the door behind him, and moving to the curb to wait for his ride.

“I think i’ve heard of that movie…The last movie I saw was Hangover 2. It was fantastic,” Kabo said. Kabo just wanted this ride to be over. He wanted to get fight with the teachers and show everyone who’s top dog. However, that has to wait.

“Hey, Kuroi, want to see my Katana. It’s a work of art,” Kabo said as he got up to show Kuroi is katana. It was made with the finest gold and leather (for the hilt) and on the bottom of the hilt was an alchemy symbol.

Tyler jumped out of bed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast, brushed his teeth once more, and got dressed. “Wow. Rough morning. Eh, what time is it?” Tyler checked his watch. “Oh I’ll be fine, it’s only… 6:00. I still have twenty minutes.” His parents yelled for him. “Tyler, you forgot to water the plant!” “OH NO! I SOILED IT! SOILED IT! SOILED IT!” Then his parents said it would be fine then he calmed down. “Oh, it’s 6:10! I Must check my luggage!” He checked everything and he was ready and after five minutes of waiting, he heard the giant flaps of wings outside. Bye then he had his back-pack on his back, his suitcase in one hand, and his Owl cage in the other. Oh, and his card and Phone were in his pockets, along with his List of Names, Room-mates, and the Griffin schedule. “Bye Mom, bye Dad, Kthanxbai.”

As he ran outside he realized how many people were there. “Whoa. Such intelligent design and beauty.” He gently tossed his suit-case inside the carrying pouch and hopped on making sure he had everything. As they took off he calmly introduced himself “Hi Everyone. My name is Tyler, I hope I’m not a bother to any of you and I hope we become friends.” As they took off on the Male Griffin someone caught his eye, it was Shirana. He could tell they were going to be awesome friends.

“You’re an alchemist…?” Cynder immediately recongized the symbol that was on Kabo’s sword, she was surprised to see an alchemist to come to the school. She was even MORE surprised that she could even muster up the courage to speak. She just stared wide eyed for awhile.

They had come to a complete stop and a new boy climbed on. He seemed friendly, and Cynder was immediately curious, yet she didn’t want to bother him. Or maybe she was just plainly too shy? He seemed to be looking at Shirana, did he have a crush on her?

In the mist of her thoughts, the Griffin rose up, all of them on now. There was only one person left now. And that person was named Vateli Nicholas Lanciel, and he would be the last before they got to the school.

The Griffin waited for Helania to climb on, hoping this time she wouldn’t trip over the Griffin. It did surprise her and she didn’t like it either. As soon as Helania was situated, she lifted her wings and rose into the sky. She immediately headed for her next stop who was a male alligator named Garon Tenel.

One of Kuroi’s ears twitched… Which usualy ment he was agitated. “Hmph. Cant this thing go any faster?..” Kuroi said as he got out a rock from his bag. “Hmm…” Kuroi said as he looked around, then saw a bird of some sorts. Kuroi then threw the rock at the bird, but missed. “NYAH! STUPID FLYING RAT!” Kuroi said,a bit angry the “flying rat” wouldnt get hit.

Kila looked around, though she was blind so it dosnt really matter. “so then…” Kila said to the Griffin. “Any other idiots were going to pick up?..” Kila said, leaning over a bit. However, when she did her bag opened up a bit,and something inside was staring out with beady eyes…

ooc: Yes,Kuroi keeps a few rocks in his bag, which is around his shoulder usualy, having only the essentials such as some food, cloths to last him about a week, and some other things. Kila has a Tube like bag around her back, having a slightly large pocket for her sickle. The contents of her bag will be revealed later, likely when she gets into a battle or something… anyway, when will the stupid griffin…thingy get to the school? ayi yi!

Nights yawned as she stretched, waiting patiently and calmly as the griffin soared though the skies. “Hmm…So do any of you enjoy pancakes with honey, cream and strawberries? Don’t you just think is the most delectible morning meal?..Ahh and now I am rambling. Sorry.” Her ears twitched as she went back to staring at the cloubs as the she-griffin flew past them. Nava made a purring noise as he enjoyed his nap around Nights’ neck, completely ignoring the fact that he was not on the ground anymore. Nights gently patted his head as he pawed at the air in his sleep.

Receiving the Letter:
“Hmph… Another day of relaxation in our little home, eh.” He looked up towards the exit of his mud pit and then back at the ground. “Which reminds me, it’s time to go fetch some fish from the river. Let’s get going, Alana.” They both got out of the hole and found the letter beside them after exiting. “Hmm? What’s this letter doing here?” He opened the letter and pulled out the sheet of paper. “Interesting… A school full of chumps! Child’s play. Wait, MAGIC?!” He scanned the letter carefully then mumbled to himself about what he should do. “It’s settled, let’s see what this school has to offer. But first, breakfast!”

Arrival of the Griffin:
While in his hole, asleep, Garon felt something bumping his shoulder. He woke up to Alana tapping him with her snout. “What is it? Wait, what’s that deafening sound? Sheesh!” He quickly got out of the hole and looked around to see where the sound was coming from. “I don’t see it… But I hear it. Where could it be?” As he looked around, Alana got off his shoulder and pointed towards the sky. “Huhn? You mean to tell m—… What is that thing?! It must be the ‘Griffin’ from the letter. I see some passengers, must be other students.” He waited for the Griffin to land then spat at the ground once it did. “Hmph, this is one large creature.” He got up on the Griffin and layed down near its neck and looked at the other passengers with one of his eyes open. “You all look pathetic. Are you students going to the same school I am? And what are your names?” Alana hid near Garon so it wouldn’t be as noticeable to the other students. He gave the the Griffin a little smack on the neck signifying that he was ready for take off.

The alligator known as Garon had climbed on the she - Griffin. She had waited until he was ready, but instead he gave her a kick to signalify readiness. It hurted alittle, but not enough for the Griffin to hold dislike toward him, because she understood. And with that, she began to flap out her golden wings.

Lifting into the air, she ran through the list once more. There was one more student to get, his name was Naime Williams. So she, in the air, begun to fly towards her next place.
