Any way to hide player messages only?

I am new to this game, and only started today. However, this isn’t my first MMORPG.
Since I am new, I don’t know every command and everything else about the chat. But what I noticed quickly is how the game posts messages in the chat, such as “you picked this item up” or examining pokémon by clicking. This is a problem for me, because people are talking all the time. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but they would talk about spoilers, either for this game or something totally unrelated to Pokémon.

I want to know if there’s some way to hide only player messages, while still receiving messages from the game. If you can help me, please do so and thanks.

Helloes, There unfortunately isn’t a way to hide the chat while having the messages from the game appear currently.

You can manually switch to the counter or Party page, but that hides all the chat, including the game messages (Like the ‘you picked up X’ thing).
