Ooc// What does the world look like at the moment? To the legends just live here or do they have to bring water/plant life etc to the planet? Either way this is based in a baron waste land, like a rock desert.
(Considering they’re all level ones, a Dragon Rage attack could practically 1HKO anyone (depending).
Deathly howls could be heard by the stream that morning, pitiful cries and songs of sorrows, it gave unexplainable feelings of sadness to those who heard this melancholy song.
Virizion took light, gentle steps towards the trickling source of water, a small stream flowing down from the high mountains in which it rained all year.
The part grass type walked across the uneven slabs of rock effortlessly, leaving a trail of fading color in it’s path.
The rocks would often dislodge and threaten to throw Virizion into the crevasses and giant cracks below the surface, but with grace and agility he would leapt to safety.
Finally he reached it, a small trickle at first, but almost three weeks ago it hadn’t even existed.
He lowered his head and silently took a small sip, before raising his head on high alert, facing towards the mountains.
Virizion was usually somewhat cautious, but his curiosity overwhelmed even that. Slowly he walked towards the masses of rick which threatened to pierce the sky.
He had barely been walking for a minute when he heard something else, it made him shudder. He couldn’t help but feel sad, alone and somewhat unsettled.
Palkia snored contently, his sleep undisturbed, except for the few claps of thunder in the distance, however those were very faint, therefor non of his concern.
It was five hours before he finally arose, he dusted his arm, the stone like material scraping together.
He shook his body to dislodge whatever stones and dust had clung to his body, almost the same way a Persian or an Arcanine would do so.
Kyurem howled from the peak of her mountain. Something had woken her up and she certainly wasn’t happy about it. Downhill she saw a green, deer like creature, surely that must have been behind her early rising.
Kyurem spread her wings angrily and leapt off the peak of her mountain, firing an icy wind attack, to mask her assault with a frozen fog.
Virizion gave a grunt of discontent as he slowly walked backwards, something was coming, a fog was descending faster than even he could run…possibly.
Before he could turn tail and escape, the fog had already enveloped him. He could not see the ground, the fog was far too thick, he could fall into a crevasse after a few steps, who knows.
The Kyurem roared, her sharp, golden eyes pierced through even the thickest of fogs. The pokemon was in her sight, in her range and in line with her attack.
The Kyurem reared it’s head as it fired a Dragon Rage attack.
Virizion gasped as he saw something approaching him at a startling speed. He barely managed to jump aside, narrowly avoiding the burning hot attack. However, he landed on uneven ground, it started to shake and rumble, forcing him to jump again, this time he landed on more solid ground…luckily.
Virizion growled as he turned around, a dragon type, this seemed resistant to ice however…Virizion had never seen another pokemon in a long time…he was glad to see some sort of life, just not so glad it was about to kill him.
“I’m sorry I do believe we are at a misunderstanding” Virizion said as he leapt away from the Kyurem’s second attack.
The Kyurem gave a snarl in response, baring her fangs.
“…Okay? Lets try this again” He said, walking towards the Kyurem, noticing the fog was slowly lifting.
The Kyurem’s eyes flashed as it blew a gust of frozen air at the Virizion.
Virizion growled and braced himself, putting his hoof before his head and ducking to the floor, however he did not sit or lie down, that could be seen as submission or surrender.
As soon as the assault was over Virizion stomped his frost covered hoof, growling at the Kyurem.
“If that is how it’s going to be…then so be it” Growled the nimble pokemon.
This was to be Virizion’s first true battle…but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t fought before.
OOC: well… yeah, pretty much like any other normal not hot or cold or creepy rock planet. it’s got rocks. however, arceus has got some big plans… that’s why he made it able to carry us around (with water and whatnot so we don’t die i n a week.) as it hurtles through space. with a giant ball of fire… XD (aside from jirachi, who’s orbiting us. lol.)
A Latias drifted across the rocks, not really paying attention to where she was going. She saw some nice things, like a stream of nice, pure water, some food, and a really big rock. It was big. Then, she heard the sounds of probably one of the first battles. She stopped, and looked towards the fight. It was a Virizion versus a Kyurem. She drifted towards them, with a slightly shocked expression.
“what are you two doing!? We can’t fight! Arceus wouldn’t want that.” She said, looking between them. Apparently she didn’t realize that the Kyurem seemed to be fairly wild.
OOC: or, at least, that’s what it seems from yer post… it was snarling at him. :O
Ooc// Kyurem is very Territorial. She lived in the cold, snow filled mountain ridge. A lot of the ice which has melted has formed a giant lake, one of the only sources of water for possibly miles. It’s supposed to overflow and make rivers, but Kyurem wants it all for herself, she thinks that people will steal her territory, that is why she wants no-one drinking from the stream.
Virizion’s gaze turned to the Latias.
“Heh, Why don’t you tell that to him?” Virizion said, his soft red eyes shifting back to face the aggressive Kyurem.
Kyurem growled as it turned to the Latias too. She became even more agitated, the air around her started to turn cloudy, as the Kyurem roared at the two.
She raised her head, an orb formed in front of her mouth.
“Look out!” Shouted the Virizion as he leapt in front of the Latias.
Kyurem roared as she blasted a barrage of snow, ice and frozen wind at the Virizion.
Virizion growled as he moved his hoof in front of his face again, he was barely able to keep his own, let alone guard the Latias as well.
He turned to the eon pokemon and then back to the boundary pokemon.
“Latias, you need to escape, I’ll lure him away. I doubt even you can hold very long against a Kyurem’s ice attacks.”
Virizion masked it, but he was in pain too, the right side of his body was cloaked in snow, his back right leg had also been frozen.
Virizion growled as he stomped his front right hoof down, shattering the ice that was on it, but his back leg was something he couldn’t easily fix.
“Be careful” He said to the Latias, before running away, bounding across uneven plates and rocks. “Over here you overgrown Icicle!”
Kyurem growled and dived for the Deer pokemon, but he dodged with a Quick Attack.
The Virizion’s eyes flashed red as he looked into the Kyurem’s eyes. The leer attack didn’t seem to have any effect.
The Kyurem was blasting Dragon Rage attacks at him, almost as if they’d never end.
Virizion dodged each one with Grace and Beauty, but each time they were getting closer and closer to hitting.
“What is wrong with you” He growled, they were both now some way aways from the Latias, but if Kyurem were to jump back, it would probably hit the girl with it’s tail. He had to get it further away…he just didn’t know how.
Heatran just put the finishing touches go a lava pool, that he would call his home. He looked down from his volcano at the jungle spraled beneath him. Surely, if this volcano were to erupt, it would burn the jungle. Hopefully the great and powerful Arceus could sto pit from happening?
(ooc: aw man, sorry for short intro. So tired…)
The latias drifted back a little. Well… the Virizion is obviously trying to defend itself… and the Kyurem probably won’t listen to reason. So, if i attacked, i would just be defending myself to… and Arceus would be OK with that, right? Right…? Right…!? She thought to herself. Her feathers bent the suns rays, causing her to become completely invisible. She darted to the other side of Kyurem, and shot a odd psychic wave at Kyurem.
OOC: this psywave will probably do minimal damage…
Serebii psywave description: Inflicts damage equal to 1 to 1.5 x user’s level.
… phail.
Ooc// …either way it will only do 1HP damage LOL. Splash would be-never mind…lol
Kyurem growled and it’s eyes shifted in their sockets to where the attack had come from.
It growled and fired an Icy Wind attack in that direction, as more of an instinct then knowledge. What little thoughts she had been thinking of forced her to believe that the frost would cling to the body of whatever was there.
Virizion growled, he didn’t necessarily have much thought about Arceus at the time. It was his life, and no-one was perfect…surely all would be forgiven in the end.
After all…if Arceus was supposed to be ‘perfect’, then why wouldn’t he find it in himself to forgive them. After all, he was fighting to protect someone now. Self defense isn’t a crime either…right?
Virizion yelled out as he rammed into the Kyurem’s head with a Quick Attack, finding that head butting the frozen head put himself in a bit of a daze.
He growled and closed his eyes, lowering his head to try and regain his bearings.
Kyurem roared angrily, his Icy Wind attack thrown into the air. The Kyurem then turned back to face the Virizion, when something else hit him this time, a Fire attack?
An echoing bark was heard from a distance, yet no attack was actually seen. In fact, all Virizion had seen was a blinding flash before his eyes and the flames which danced across Kyurem’s body, the smoke raising in a black cloud above them.
The Kyurem’s eyes glew a bright yellow as it gave one final howl before landing unconscious, the magnificent flames flickering lights into the ice which cloaked her body.
Virizion didn’t know how to react, after all…it did attack him first…yet, he felt that he shouldn’t just leave her to burn.
Virizion growled as he took a step towards it, but he fell. His back leg was still covered in a thick, icy cast.
Virizion clenched his jaws together as he turned and delivered a powerful back kick against the Kyurem’s wing. The Ice on his leg shattered and the impact doused a few of the flames.
“Sorry” He said to the unconscious dragon type, as he reared and tried to stamp out the flames, but to no avail.
Entei roared as he leapt out of the ground. From his birth place rose a magnificent Volcano, active and burning. It spewed lava and smoke into the sky, covering the baron wasteland with a magnificent cloud of dust.
Entei roared once more, the volcano behind him pumping yet more black matter into the sky.
The lion like pokemon reared then stomped, dashing forward in a full on rush. He didn’t know for quite how long he had run, but he did know he was how far from what he would have called home, if it were not for his sudden rushing instincts flowing in at once.
He slowed down and eventually stopped. He turned around to see nothing but rocks in the distance, however, when he turned around he was greeted with a barrage of water droplets.
He had run right into a storm and not noticed it.
He looked up to see black clouds looming over, before him were high, rocky hills and mountains in the far distance.
An all matter of thoughts ran through Entei’s head, such as:
Where on Earth am I? What am I doing here? Who am I? How did I not notice this? What happened?
All he had remembered was finally reaching the surface, and that was that, why? That was all was completely beyond him…he just needed to get out of this rain.
OOC:Moves fixed, little tired so my intro may not sound…regular
Latios flew through the sky enjoying his flight,he decided to try and create the first clouds,so he flew down to a river got some water real quick flew up and made them, also creating 1cloud in paritcular which is always there, perfectly fit for a home for him…
Ooc// 1. Latios can’t know Steel Wing at this point. TMs do not exist.
2. Kyurem has fainted, Virizion is trying to put out the flames which are burning her.
3. She was let alight by Entei, when he was born he went in a wild charge, accidentally attacking Kyurem in his dash.
4. Sorry if i’m doing your job a little Sinacar, but maybe in future you could explain What your character heard.
Not just ‘‘Virizion and Kyurem battling’’. I doubt I’d find out who was fighting who, even if they were my friends.
5. I’m afraid I don’t know how to swerve around your post there Willi, sorry but I’ll have to ignore that one. Sorry.
6. Sinacar, can we have things like Magikarp? To eat because…the carnivorous ones do need something.
Entei’s was forced to drag his feet with each, long, painful stride. The rain was making him feel uncomfortable, not to mention the nearby thunderbolts making his fur stand on end, despite being drenched in water.
He had been walking for possibly hours now, the black clouds above him blocked out the sun entirely, the only light appeared when a thunderbolt fell.
He couldn’t keep himself up any longer. He growled as he fell onto his belly, his front paws either side of his head. He had falling straight into a puddle, the water was up to his nose, and the crash onto the cold stone floor wasn’t comfortable either.
His ears perked, something was nearby. He was quick to give a snarl at the creature approaching, he just couldn’t tell where it was coming from. That was when he started to pass out, his heavy eyelids closing in on themselves as he slipped into a state of unconsciousness.
Virizion growled, he was forced to back away, the flames were biting at his hooves, burning his legs.
Some even seemed to jump up at his face. He growled, the flames didn’t seem like they wanted to die out. To a grass type like him, flames would burn bright. That was when he noticed it. The stream was larger, and storm clouds were approaching in the distance, fast.
Virizion turned to the Latias for help.
“Please, help me put out this fire” He said, running to the water.
Virizion have an ability to sprout blade like leaves from their body, but just as well they can sprout regular ones.
Virizion ducked his head and a large leaf sprouted from it. He used it to scoop up the water and carry it back to Kyurem.
He threw it over the dragon’s body. There was water around Kyurem, he hadn’t thought about it, but it was covered in ice. He just hoped that it was the water he had thrown, and not part of the actual pokemon.
He managed to remove quite a lot of the flames on it’s left side, but they were spreading again.
How can fire spread so quickly over ice?
It was a long five hours after he awoke, by now it was dark. The thunderclaps were no longer heard, but there was a loud ringing in his ear, as well as a thumping. He listened to his own heartbeat as he lay there, but where?
He rolled his eyes in their sockets to survey the area. Warm, Dry, Soft, Soft?
Entei looked down to see some sort of straw bed. It was cozy, looked like a cave, and must have been someone’s home. She shut his eyes and sighed in content. He enjoyed the feel of he straw under his aching paws, and with the water out of his fur he felt much better.
Slowly, he opened his eyelids, in his tired, dreamy eyes he saw yellow and black. He shook his head then blinked, a Raikou was sat before him. He shut his eyes tight, just to check he wasn’t dreaming. The silent Raikou had shock all over her face. Entei was quick to pick himself up.
“Oh I’m sorry sir”
“Ma’am”
“Pardon?”
Raikou stood up, she tapped her front right claws onto the stone floor. “I’m a woman” She said in an agitated manner.
“Oh I’m sorry Ma’am”
The Raikou gave a soft smile, catching Entei off guard.
“It’s alright” She said, her voice soft and calming to hear.
Raikou walked towards the center of her cave, which was surprisingly spacious. The played with the sticks that held the fire together, putting a few more in from a large pile at the back of the room.
“So, have a nice sleep?” She said, still staring at the fire, poking at the twigs with another.
“Urh…yes thank you”
“That’s good” She said quietly.
“So, I best be going then” He said looking outside at the cave. The thunder had stopped, but the rain was still heavy as ever.
“Oh no no, you can’t go out like this” She said, referring to the rain and the Entei’s fire type.
“You’ll get ill again, you could die if no-one finds you”
Entei lowered his head and thought for a while, his options were limited, he didn’t want to worry the Raikou, and he didn’t want to bother her either.
“Stay for a little longer” She whispered near his ear, as she stroked down the fur on his back, ruffled during his sleep.
Before he could object to the thought, Raikou had gone to the back of the cave and laid on the floor near the wood logs.
“No please, I-I can’t”
The Raikou looked up at him, her emerald eyes piercing his.
“What’s wrong?”
Entei growled. “I can’t sleep on the bed knowing you’re on the floor” He said, trying to be a gentleman.
“No, I’m fine, honest. Just go to sleep, you’re the ill one after all”
“No, I’m fine now. See?” He said, standing tall above the electric type.
Raikou let out a sigh. “Fine, we’ll both sleep on the bed.”
“What?” Said, Entei, blushing as he took a quick step back.
“Thought so…” Whispered Raikou, a smile creeping across her face. The Thunder pokemon stood herself up as she shook the dust off her body. Entei noticed that her fur was wet, he hadn’t seen it before though.
“So urh…how did you find me?”
Raikou was rubbed her head and sighed. “Urh, I was outside with my friend when we found you”
“friend?”
“Yeah, friend”
Entei was somewhat disappointed, he wanted to know who her friend was, but he didn’t want to be rude.
“So urh…you’re a Raikou then”
“Yeah. Why? Is something wrong?”
“Oh… Nothing” Entei gave the Raikou a smile, stretching his paws out wide, looking at his claws as he released and retracted them.
Raikou sighed then walked outside. “Why don’t you go to sleep, I’ll be back in a bit”
Entei nodded and watched as the Raikou walked out the cave and around the corner, like a child watches their mother leave on their first day of school.
Entei sighed and walked around the spacey cave. He sat on the bed for a few minutes, almost hoping she would come back before he fell asleep, but she had not come back yet and he was becoming more and more tired.
He curled himself up on the bed and eventually drifted off.
“Suicune”
“hmm?”
“What are you doing?”
“Nothing”
“Oh…Okay.”
“The Entei”
“Pardon?”
“What happened to the Entei?”
“He-he’s alright, he had a bit of a fever, but a few berries and a good rest quickly straightened that out.”
“…”
“Suicune, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing…”
“I know that face Suicune, somethings up”
“I said it’s nothing”
Raikou took a step back and lowered her head. “Uh…ok”
“That’s more like it…” Suicune said, looking up at the clouded sky. “Just make sure he doesn’t get in my way”
Ooc// Suicune is upset because he knows he, Entei and Raikou are a trio, and that Entei could potentially overthrow him. (He wants to be the boss of the Trio)
Ooc// Dieiiiinnnggg.
enciunecifnc
Ooc// Dieing…
Virizion panted heavily, the flames had not died out, and he had burnt himself in the process.
He sighed, nearly collapsing in exhaustion. The storm clouds were gone…strangely enough.
He pricked up quickly after hearing a howl in the distance. Suddenly from behind him approached a pokemon, a blue wolf like creature, elegant yet powerful in appearance.
Suicune howled as it jumped far over the Virizion. It landed in the stream, now it was nearly small river. He roared, the water levitated, and in a small stream it fell onto Kyurem, dousing the flames.
“…thanks” Said Virizion, rather impressed.
“Nothin’ to it” He said, walking out of the river and beside the Virizion, giving him a challenging glare, but Virizion ignored it, no sence in starting a battle…again.
jirachi floated up and looked at their beautiful creation. he wanted to check if it could widthstand powerful attacks so he floated down and stood next to this thuing they call a “tree”.
“ok, lest see. DOOM DESIRE!!” and in a flash of light the tree dissappeared along with 3 or more behind it.
“hmm… ILL FIX THAT. wish…” and the trees came back into existance
Virizion’s head shot up like a sapling. Something turned and twisted in his stomach. Something was wrong with the forest. He had only put his foot down when he felt the feeling settle.
…hmm…must have imagined it… He thought, soon feeling his stomach churn again, rumbling to itself.
Heh…oops, maybe not. He said, giving an embarrassed smile to himself.
He turned around to see the pokemon. The Latias was there. The Suicune was standing on the water, on and not in? Even that puzzled Virizion…then again, he didn’t know much about any species other than himself.
The Kyurem was still unconscious, but thank Arceus the fire was out, many thanks to the Suicune.
He gave a nod to the Suicune, who nodded back. And with that Virizion left, in a sprinting gallop towards the forest.
Suicune’s mane flicked in the wind. He turned to the north, the storm clouds were forming once more, a call to him.
He galloped down into the distance, eventually finding himself on a mountain ledge. At the base of the mountain stood an Entei. Suicune growled, the Raikou was approaching in the distance, she hadn’t seen him yet, and the Entei was facing the other way, so obviously couldn’t see him.
He decided to duck down to find out what would happen next…
“Raikou, you’re back.” Said Entei, happiness and relief in his voice.
Raikou nodded. “I see you’ve rested well” She said, relief in her voice also.
“Yes, thanks to you.”
Raikou’s cheeks turned three shades of pink, Entei gave a slight chuckle at that.
“Why uh, thank you I suppose.”
Entei’s eyes were shut, a smile plastered across his face. He nodded. “Your very welcome.”
Raikou looked down, scraping the ground with her hollow claws.
Entei looked down at her worriedly, walking towards her with slow paces, his large lion paws spreading across the floor when to walked.
“What’s wrong?”
Lugia sighed, performing a loop in the water, flicking up rocks and dust from the bottom of the sea.
The ocean was a large place, but she still couldn’t help but feel closed in. She had not seen anyone since she first entered the world. It was a Kyogre she had met, making the large stretch of water -by summoning powerful rain falls- in which she now lives.
It was soon after she learnt her destructive capabilities, and because of that she was forced to reside under water, of course, the Kyogre was ever so nice, she just hope that it didn’t mind. Then again…she hadn’t seen it since, she just hoped that it was alright.
