Escaping The Shadows. (Role Play)

Plot
It all started with the release of new console, an illegal build, able to play any game you wanted, despite the console it needed to operate. This was a big hit, and after a while it became legal, considering it was impossible to stop people getting them somehow, and shutting down the factories was a no no.

However, right under their noses, a virus had infected the world, these game characters then gathered a consciousness. Despite a mind of their own, they could not do anything of their own will. Until one day all these consoles shut down, and there were no means of playing these mind numbing games.
All the characters of the games played by these people however, were now blank discs.

In a world paralel to our own, these characters awoke, all at the time of 0:00:00. Time has been placed in a loop between 0:00:00 and 0:00:01, however day and night go by, and these people are free to move, what is making time go round is something you can very well find out…it"s just the matter of finding time to do so…and surviving.

Important notes-
Rules

  1. I will only accept certain characters and games, It may take a while for me to learn up on them if I do not already know of them.
  2. You will wake up. Your memory like a blank page, all you can remember is yourself, and the names of any comerades you knew in your game, if lucky some of their personalities.
  3. No Godmodding.
  4. Have as many characters as you want, just please, do not overcomplicate things.
  5. Please check your spelling and grammar before you put in a post.
  6. No posts shorter than a paragraph, about 3 lines or so.
  7. Try to be true to your character.
  8. Be consistent. This is a hard one for me. :roll: When you put a personality in a sign up, please try to stick with it.
  9. Remember, do not go on about things you do not know, stick to things that only your character knows.
  10. Please refrain from using colored text (yes I spell color that way, I accept either spelling).
  11. Have fun.

“aaaghh…” a small purple figure on the ground,or what seemed to be the ground,groaned. “w-where am i?..” the purple figure then started to get up, “grr…WHO DARES IMPRISON THE GREAT VAATI IN THIS WORLD?! I SHALL DESTROY YOU!!” the figure named Vaati yelled. vaati looked around “grr…”

meanwhile a red and white robot with blonde hair sparked,as he then turned on again. “ow…where am i?..”

meanwhile yet again something tried to move under a white…bear? “kuma! ive gone blind!!”

the bear rolled off of the girl. “uh…misstress…you arnt blind…”

the girl rolled onto her back. “oh…w-where are we? its a bit cold…im thirsty!!!” kila complained.

ooc:uhm… sapph. is the ground “invisable” yet there or is it something like grass,a moutain,etc?

Nina yawned and woke up. she stood up and looked around “err what happened”
she was still looking around the area “hello is anyone here?” She shouted
Nina was beginning to feel Hungry her stomach growled.

ooc//sorry, terrible with Intros. As for location. You wake up in a world that’s a mix of essentially all worlds of games.
My two…well i don’t know where they’ve woken up. Well regardless, you won’t remember your own world anyway.
Currently I guess you can wake in a desert, a beach, fields, mountainous regions or some kind of deserted city I guess.
If you want you could be near my guys, this place is bit and filled with hills anyway.

Hope slowly opened his eyes. It was all a blur at this point. One thing for certain was this sharp pain he had in his back.
He moaned as he roleld over and stood himself up.
He dusted the small stones and blades of grass which had stuck to his clothes.

W-where am I? He thought, looking around for a sign, anything which could give him a hint to his location, but nothin. Just open plains of grass and pale white flowers, like large petalled Daisies.
All around were far off mountains, he began to think he was in a bowl, but they were so far away, there must have been some way out.

He then heard shuffling behind him. He hesitated to turn, unsure of what it was.
She slowly turned to see a Chocobo.
“huh?”

The large yellow bird cooed happily and spread it’s wings, fluffing it’s feathers as it looked into his eyes.
The bird chirped before turning it’s head sharply to the left. It stood with one leg up for a few seconds before quickly darting off in the opposite direction of where it was facing.

Hope had no idea what this meant and quickly began to panic, he had seen those birds before, in a place just like this, but with less flowers and more hillish terrain.

He sighed before walking forward. He kept on walking until he tripped on something. He fell face down on the ground and winded himself. He struggled to breath at first, but calmed himself down and was able to regulate his breathing.

He looked back to his feet to see the source of his fall. It was some sort of contraption. He stood himself upright again, once more dusting off the dirt and grass. The platinum haired boy stared at the object he now held in his hands, it was surprisingly heavy.

He saw a few holes on one of the smaller sides, after further examination he was able to find out that it was some sort of weapon. He held it infront of him as if he was about to shoot something, and nearly jumped out of his skin when she heard a familiar voice from behind.

Lightning smiled softly at the silver haired boy as he nearly fell backwards with freight.
“Light!” He shouted. “What was- Don’t do that again!”
Light chuckled lightly at the boy, clearly shaken up.

Light reached out and plucked the weapon from his hands, he didn’t hesitate one bit to give it back.
“Why don’t you leave this to those who know how to use it.” She said sternly, but playfully.

Hope nodded, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. He seemed rather glad to see someone else was around.
“so, where are we?” He said, one hand on his chest.

“I don’t know” Replied Lightning, one hand on her hip, looking at her surroundings.

Hope sighed in dissapointment, holding his wrist where his L’cie Brand was marked.

Lightning took no notice of the boy as she turned, watching the clouds.
“…We should start moving” Said Lightning as she started to walk down the hill.

“urh, Right” Said Hope, jogging to her side to set the distance, having to walk briskly to keep up with the Soldier’s faster pace.

Nina did not know what to do. She was lost, she began walking threw the grass looking around everywhere. Nina did not notice she was on a huge hill she stepped on the side and slipped and rolled down the hill

“Arhh” Nina shouted she couldn’t stop her self, she was getting faster and faster as she rolled.

A small blue thing slowly opened her eyes, clinging onto a Pellet she sat up, rubbing her head she looked around “w-where am i?” she began to ask herself, looking down at the Pellet her mouth began to water. She shook her head, wherever she was, she could not see any more pellets and it looked like she might need this later.

Placing it down she decided to get her bearings “My name is Alantis. i am a Blue Pikmin. i do not know where i am… or where i was when i came here… the only thing i can remember is what pellets are and myself, i still know how to fight and i need to find water soon,”.

Alantis picked up her Pellet and put it behind her head, trying to decide what way to do

(suckyish intro… also i might have to post on my Dsi sometimes, so the grammer might be wrong , but when i get back on the laptop i will fix them! :< this was posted on Laptop i will post more often on the laptop when i get back from my grandads becouse i will be home )

A frail girl lay on thin grass, her hair untied and spread apart. She lay there for only moments, resting. She had been quite dizzy so she closed her eyes, for only a moment. Her hands clenched the grass as if she was being taken away. Her eyes fluttered open.

Her neck had a slight aching pain. Her eyes blurred as she tried to stand up. She blinked her crystal eyes, trying to make out where she was. Small purple-ish flowers surrounded her, with short grass. A few small trees here and there.

“Eh? What? Where? Who? Where am I?” Her voice seemed so small, so frail, in this strange place. Unlike she usually was. She had no clue where she was. Frantically she ran around looking for some sign of…well, something! People, structure, something…? “What am I gonna do…?”

She played with her long hair, that stretched to her waist. She tied it up in a bun, and started to walk around. Kunais were laid across the grass, she picked them up and put them in her pocket. She was familiar with this place, but she couldn’t put her finger on it… She didn’t really mind, although.

She began to run through the grass, lauging and smiling like she was six. She then began to be tired, and lied down. “I’m alone. What if I get hungry? How will I live? Where am I…?” Reality snapped back. She thought about this for minutes and gave up. She would figure it out later on. She smiled for a second, and closed her eyes. “I guess I should rest… I’m gonna have to survive on my own.” Her hair fell into the flowers, and she drifted into a nap. Her hands lay on her purple vest.

“Oh please, someone find me.”

The girl was Ino Yamanaka, a kuniochi from Konohagakure. She had been a simple Chunin with her Friends, Shikamaru and Chouji. She didn’t really… remember it, or them [much] but… She’d still be the same arrogant girl she was. She’d still want to be the best… Still think she was the most beautiful… Even if she wasn’t necessarily her.

“Nep…tune…?”
The young girl with peach colored hair muttered as she regained her vision. She had been unconscious up until now. She stared up to the sky, her vision still slightly blurry.

“W-where… ? I could’ve sworn I was right next to Neptun—,” she had cut herself off and she stood up. “Neptuuuuuune!!! Where are yooooou!!! Please answer,” she yelled at the top of her lungs.

She looked around, she only saw unfamiliar things she had never seen before. She released a silent sigh and looked down. She still had her favorite syringe. “Well… at least I have you,” she muttered to herself in almost a monotone voice.

She put the syringe around her back using the strap it had and made a small ‘oof’ sound as it hit her back.

She looked again once more and sighed. She hadn’t noticed before seeing as she was slightly panicking, but she saw a ton of… rather broken down, black and brown buildings covered in vines and moss. “Ehhhh? Is this… oh, don’t tell me… this is an abandoned town, isn’t it,” she said with distress in her voice.

“I really hope there aren’t ghosts in this town,” she said, looking around the town more. To the south of the town were a ton of grassy hills. Her orange eyes shined brightly in the sun as she looked towards the East direction. She couldn’t really see anything past the buildings, but she guessed there was probably only a grassy meadow in that direction. To the North, the way behind her as well as the way she came in, was nothing of significance. She didn’t bother looking West at all.

“Hmm, it’s a nice area… I wonder why this town is abandoned,” she said, speaking to herself as always. She then shook her head, as if she were shaking the thought away.

Her belly then made a soft rumbling sound. The young girl looked around and saw a building simply named ‘Food Store’. “… Well isn’t that creative,” she said, giggling slightly.

She ran her left hand through her hair to fix any hair that may have been messed up. She then adjusted her hairband and sighed. “I know this town is abandoned, but… maybe they left some food… I know it’s wrong to steal, but…” she sighed once again and began to walk to the store.

“… ?”
She tilted her head as she looked around the store. It was empty except for the bed behind the counter and a few, dusty shelves. “I guess I shouldn’t have gotten my hopes up, considering this IS an abandoned town,” she said, her disappointment obvious in her voice.

“Well, now I’m disappointed, so I guess I’ll just fall asleep or whatever,” she said, a bit of anger in her voice. She removed her syringe from her back and laid down in the bed behind the counter.

She laid on her side, and saw a 2 boxes of Pockys under the counter. In each box was 30 Pocky sticks. “… ! Ohmigosh, yes!” She grabbed the boxes, sat up in the bed, unzipped the zipper part of her waist bag, and stored them in it. “Thank you!,” she said, glee in her voice. “Alright, now I can sleep knowing I have boxes of… whatever this is~,” she said, smiling.

She then laid back down on her side, closed her eyes, and allowed the darkness to consume her vision. She had been tired even though she had probably been unconscious for most of the day, but she didn’t care in particular.

As she slept, she remember her own name. “Com…pa,” she muttered in her sleep.

OOC// If it’s okay, Compa remembers Neptune’s (her best friend’s) name, but not how she looks, what she’s like, etcetc. Only her name. I’ll edit my post if this isn’t okay.

zero then looked around and realised where he was,in a abandoned city of sorts. “hmm…” zero said as he got up. and rubbed his head.

vaati then shook his head as he looked down. there was roughly a 50 feet drop,he was ontop of a moutain. “agh!” vaati said as he then accidentaly stomped down on the cliff he was on,making it crack and fall. “AGH! I HATE THIS PLACE!” vaati yelled as he then fell down the moutain.

kila then got up and streatched,she was on a beach of some sorts. “cool…”

“mistress…shouldnt we look for food?”

“uh…how bout…fish? i guess…OOH OOH SALMON PLEASE! SSAALMOONN!!”

kuma then sighed. "yes mistress. i will find us food and water,it would help if you made a shelter in the meantime…

ooc// Perfect…now prior to our arrival, some monsters have come through too. Usually any common enemies within the games decide to fall through too. …I say decide… It’s your choice whether you find them, or they find you, or whether you never meet at all.
Regardless whether you meet or not, eventually you will have to fight someone.
Blame the plot. ^^ lol.

The wind suddenly kicked up in the field they were walking in.
Petals from flowers had become detatched and were picked into the air.

“Light?”
“hmm?”
“Where do you think we are?”
“I’m not sure…”
“oh…” Said Hope in dissapointment.

Silence lingered in the field. The wind eventually died down into nothing but a slight breeze. Hope was watching the ground as he was walking, so hadn’t noticed Lightning’s abrupt stop and walked right into her.
Light hadn’t looked at him or anything, she was just staring ahead.

“urh, Li-” Hope was cut off when Lightning put her hand before his mouth.
The silence was deafening and Hope could almost hear his own heart beating.

Light’s hand slowly reached for the Gunblade, neatly in her holdall which rested on her thigh. After a few seconds she sighed and put her hands on her hips.
“What’s wrong?” said Hope, rather confused.
“I thought I heard something”
“huh, alright” Said Hope, as he continued to walk down the hill, Light still standing at the top.

Light sighed as she looked ahead, There was a clear passage between two mountains, where they were currently headed.

Light looked down at the Platinum haired boy as he happily walked down the hill, taking clumsy steps as he tried to prevent falling over.
She tilted her head and tried to remember where she had last seen him, and even how they knew each other.

For some reason she couldn’t remember much, all she could think of was the two of them amongst a whole group of others, names and faces, names and faces…

Light tried to shake the thought, all she needed to know was they were allies, and knew each other at some point.
She then proceeded to walk down when she felt the ground shake.
Hope lost his footing and trippped, falling down the rest of the hill. As soon as he hit the bottom he instantly jumped up.

Hope’s breathing was broken as he tried to gather his footing, the shaking wasn’t harsh, but it hadn’t allowed him to stand properly. He then heard a loud thumping, at first he thought it was in his head, but with each thunderous beat he felt the ground tremor, and each single thump getting louder, with the small quakes.

Lickily they weren’t very large, or as harsh as the first, but each crash was noticeble.
“Hope behind you!” He heard.
He turned around to see the source of the beatings.
A Beta Behemoth at full charge, running directly at him, lazy in it’s strides.

Hope felt stuck to the ground, his heart beating against his chest. Where had he seen this before?
“Hope, Move!” He heard as he felt himself being dragged to the side.

Light grabbed his collar and pulled him from the Behemoth’s destructive past.

The beast roared angrily as it turned for them.
Light pulled out her Gunblade and flicked it, the sharp blade folding out from the weapon.
“Light?” Said Hope, who had fallen again.
Light didn’t reply, she just held her Gunblade and watched the oncoming monster.

Hope looked at his feet and growled, thinking to himself that he should soon feel regret.
He picked himself up then stood by Light, pulling the weapon Airwing, which was resting in his pocket.
With a simple flick it unfolded. The two watched the uncoming beast, there was no way they could avoid it. The only way to escape would be to stand and fight.

“You ready Hope?”
“You bet”

The Beta Behemoth stopped his charge before them and roared, the sound bellowing throughout the valley.

a distant figure in the moutains eyed the beta behemoth. “heh…wolf flash…” the figure said quietly as it then almost instantaniously dropped right in front of the beta behemoth. he looked back at hope and lightning “mind if i help?..” the now what looked like to be a wolf in some weird suit said.

Hope was startled by it’s entry and jumped slightly. “urh, I guess so”
“Heh, if you want” Said Lightning as she ran at the monster.

The Beta Behemoth roared as it stood on it’s rear legs, stomping at the ground in front of them.
Lightning jumped and slashed it on the back right leg with her gunblade.
The Behemoth howled as it struggled to turn to swipe her.

Lightning jumped onto it’s back and cut the other leg, confusing it.
The Behemoth snarled at the woman but averted it’s attention to the others.
He roared as he ran at the Boy and the Wolf.

Hope panicked for a second but was able to calm his nerves.
He threw the Airwing at the Behemoth. The boomerang hit the monster on the nose and made it turn, the Boomerang then turned and hit the beast where it had been cut.
The Monster howled and turned back again.

Hope Jumped to catch the Boomerang. he held it on one hand and watched the monster…where was it he had seen this? Questions began to eat at his insides, eventually he reached to the point he wondered how he met Lightning, all he knew was she must have been some kind of ally, or else he probably wouldn’t be there.

This Behemoth was smaller than most luckily…but it wasn’t like they knew…

“names wolf by the way…” wolf said as he took out a rocket launcher he had on his back and fired it at the beast. the rockets wernt ordinary,they were highly advanced ones,capable of blowing almost anything to shreads. wolf then split into 2 using wolf flash,attacked copies of his reflector to the beasts legs. wolf then turned back into one being when he was behind it. he held up his reflector and pressed a button on it,trapping the beast in a sphere,which would hurt you if you tried to break out.

“now then…” wolf said as he looked at the trapped beast,then at hope and lightning. “if this thing is stupid enough to try and break out,it will basicly kill itself…”

ooc// Blowing anything to shreds? A little too powerful maybe? The fact that breaking out is an Insta-kill is a little too powerful a weapon also I’m afraid. :< Besides I believe that the reflectors block projectiles and not physical attacks. :<
Insta-Kill weapons may work on the weaker monsters I guess…

Light growled as she jumped down, still inside the sphere, she looked to the Wolf and sighed, startled when the Behemoth decided to try and bite her.
Lightning quickly backflipped and slashed it’s paw while doing so.

Hope gasped then turned to Wolf.
“You’ve gotta get her outta there” Shouted Hope as he watched Light struggle to defned herself with the little distance between the actual beast and the spheres.

She growled as she watched the beast flailing around to try and capture her. She spotted the reflectors on it’s legs and began to wonder what they actually supposed to do.
She side dodged the Beta Behemoth’s paws and folded her Gunblade, allowing her to shoot off the front right leg Reflector. She then spuna nd slashed the back leg reflector off.

The Beta Behemoth howled, the attack that cut his leg was just on top of the other gash.
The force field was down and Light was free, for now. She jumped back and flipped her Gunblade back into a sword.
The Beta Behemoth was licking it’s paw, holding back a whimper or two.
“Hope!” Shouted Light as she turned to face him.

“Alright” Replied Hope. He didn’t know what to do now, but felt somewhat familiar with situations like this. He put his hands together and noticed a large black pattern on his wrist. He moved his armband to examine it more closely when he heard Light’s call again.
“Hope!”
Hope looked up to see Light sturggling again, fighting a Behemoth at close range was never easy, it could be fatal, even against the smaller species such as Beta Behemoth.

The Behemoth growled and bucked it’s head, the large metal horn on it’s back and head flinging the woman into the air.
“Ahh!” Shouted Light in pain as she fell back to the ground. She slowly got herslef back onto her feet, the Beta behemoth about to attack again.

“Oh no you don’t” Shouted Hope as a glittering, golden laight circled his hands. It was soft and transparent, rather faint as well.
Hope threw his Airwing again, this time at the Behemoth’s head.

The Behemoth’s head was nearly touching the floor at the moment. The Boomerang hit it on the eye ridge. The beast tried to lift it’s ehad but couldn’t, once the Airwing hit the monster Ice had frozen the base of it’s head to the ground.

It growled and forced it’s jaws open, breaking the ice and allowing it to stand.
Hope ran down the hill towards them. He ran to Light, who was standing by now.
“Light are you alright?!” He said in a blind panic.
“Yeah I just- Look out!” She shouted as she pushed Hope aside, and jumped the other direction.

The Behemoth stomped down between them and was now going after the silver haired boy.

Alantis was still trying to think of a way to find out where she was when she heard fighting, she instantly turned her head to see strange monsters attacking another monster, This monster looked big and scary, but Alantis knew she had to help somehow.

Digging a hole, she buried her Pellet for save keeping. Alantis saw the Monster heading for the Silver haired boy, a plan formed in her mind, she didn’t even know where it came from, but she started running behind the Scary monster, repeating her plan to herself “Hit from behind, hit from behind”.

Alantis looked around where she could jump, and took her chance, “three small monsters are better than a huge monster” Alantis muttered, running towards the small group, she then tried to get the attention of any of the three, hoping she wasn’t to small “Hello!!” she yelled at the top of her voice, hoping they could understand her.

Nina finally stopped rolling down the hill. Nina Saw the group fighting the Strange beast, she wondered who they where.
Nina watched from afar as they battled. Nina dident want to go over just incase they attacked her. So instead she grabed her sword and threw it straight at the beast. it hit the beasts back but got stuck in the beast.Nina wanted her sword back but waasernt sure to go over.

The Beta behemoth’s acute hearing heard the yells and turned around to see nothing, clearly there was a weakspot behind it otherwise it wouldn’t have turned to defend itself. Currently it was focused on finding whatever was there.

Hope watched in confusement as the Behemoth turned around. Hope then heard quiet shouts. He looked around and began to think he was hearing things. He then noticed something quite near him, it was an odd little creature. Blue with a large in comparison leaf on it’s head.
Hope stared wild eyed at it just to feel himself being dragged along once more.

Light grabbed his colar and pulled him up to his feet. Light hadn’t taken notice of the Behemoth, therefor hadn’t said anything. She then ran back to attack the creature and hopefully drive it away.

Hope looked back to his right, where the Blue Pikmin was stood.
“w-who are you?” He questioned to the little creature.

The Monster howled and stood onto it’s back legs as it avoided Lightning’s slash.
Light then jumped back to dodge the Behemoth’s crushing stomp. Her sword began to spark and crackle, electrisity could be visibly seen around the blade.

“Hope! Watch yourself!” She shouted, the Behemoth was getting restless, something was about to change.

The Behemoth stood on it’s back legs again, this time it was roaring in pain and anguish.
Hope noticed an odd object in it’s back, at first glance it looked like some kind of stick, but he was able to figure out it was some sort of Sword.

Lightning’s observatory skills allowed her to determine where the sword had infact came from. She looked into the direction it came from and noticed someone or something, she couldn’t tell at this distance anyway.
The sword sparked again as she averted his attention back towards the Beast.

Nina had nothing to do her sword was stuck and she couldn’t do anything but go over but what happens if they attack me and try and kill me i don’t want to risk it she thought to herself. she sat down and waited for the beast to die or to come over to her. so she waited patiently

Alantis looked at the scary beast, then back at the tall monster than had noticed her. “My name is Alantis, i am a Pikmin, i will explain later but i need you to help me to help you” she then pointed “i need you to throw me on his back, no questions asked just please,” she jumped and down again,

“this Monsters weak spot is on its back, i can attack it on its back” Alantis shouted, shaking her strong leaf to demonstrate “i might not beat it, but it will give all of you time to beat it” she said, panic arose from her voice,
What if they didn’t throw her?, what if they mistook her for the monster and started attacking her?, what if they ignored her, these thoughts flashed in her mind as she awaited Hopes Reply

Hope watched the small creature, before overlooking his options, it’s not like they had any other major options, after all, was it not offering to help? She seemed friendly enough.
“Urh, allright” He said nervously.

He picked up the Pikmin and put her on his Boomerang.
“you better hold on” He said before hurling the Boomerang at the Behemoth.
The weapon slashed the monster’s nose again, which distracted it enough. The boomerang continued back, but hit the sword. Hope had forgotten about the object stuck in it’s back.

The Airwing collided with the Sword and flipped back to Hope, Atlantis had hopefully let go by that point.

Lightning readied her blade and was about to attack when Hope called out.
“Light wait! Look out for Atlantis!”
“Atlantis?” Light looked up to the Behemoth and noticed the small blue creature on the beast’s back, she could not think of the vast bravery the small creature possesed.
