Cub’s eyes turned into little dots (kinda like the cartoony kind.) “Um…what? is this gonna be some battle of the…turtle…things? yyeeshh…” Cub said,his ear twitching.
“Blastoise, Withdraw!”
Blastoise’s shell started to glow a dark blue colour as blastoise’s shell hardened and became more sturdy.
“Blastoise, be careful, you know the prehistoric sea’s better than me, but we both know how dangerous they are, be careful, now go!”
Blastoise jumped into the prehistoric underwater cavern, he then kept an eye out for the carracosta, Blastoise then withdrew again, raising his defence even more, then ducked his head down, Blastoise thought he could see brief glimpse’s of the carracosta, so he kept his head down and looked around, hoping to find the creature
OOC: btw, Trips’ blastoise’s history is that he was born when the prehistoric creatures were dying out, so he knows about the caverns and the prehistoric sea etc, but that means he is older and more fragile, but more knowledgeable
Ooc// Nice. Carla ‘died’ when she was a Tirtouga. She evolved not long after she found Jake (about 9 years ago).
By the way, the prehistoric cavern thing, it’s a metaphor. It’s very similar to one though. Similar to where she died.
“Carla, Iron Defense!”
Carla growled as she felt the shadow drift over her. Her body became outlined in a silver light as she used Iron Defense so many times that it no longer had any defense.
She has maximum Defense, and thanks to Kamakiri’s Baton Pass, she had maxed out Speed and Attack too.
“Rain Dance”
Carla growled as she launched a bright blue orb of pulsating water into the sky, it started to rain.
The heavy downpour of rain would quite easily mask any splashes made between them, but that also gave Blastoise an edge. Carla, was luckily more adapted to storms and heavy weather.
“Stone Edge!”
Carla growled as she crossed her arms. She dashed forward and smashed into a boulder, making hundreds of sharp dagger like stones, hurling them at the Blastoise above.
Blastoise dodged the Stone edge but was hit by an astray boulder, but it didnt do much, Blastoise then swam down to the rocky waterbed, as he saw the ripples of the rain above him, which he took into advantage, Blastoise swam all the way up at top speed, then turned around and used ice beam on the water, turning down the temperature, then he crashed into the freezing water below, which he was used to more than the carracosta.
Ooc// Sea trenches are cold.
The Carracosta growled and spun, creating currents, torrents and waves by using whirlpool under water, not to mention the rain and the wind adding a strong factor to it.
The water was becoming denser, it was definitely colder.
She heard a splash from above, this was different to the harsh pitter patter of the rain, this came all at once.
“Carla, Iron Defense!”
Carla’s shell gave a soft silver glow which faded quickly, it had no effect. As well as maximized Defense, she had maximized Speed and Power. Three factors she would need if she were to get through that shell of his. She was now swimming against a current, but she was still fast enough not to be followed, not to mention her blue skin and her navy rimmed shell.
Jake tried to keep his eyes on the Carracosta, but she was too fast and her camouflage was too hard to spot.
That, and he didn’t want to reveal her position.
The boy sat silently among the crowd, his white fringe flickered in the breeze. He watched the two turtle pokemon battle.
He casually pulled out a Pokedex and looked up information about the two.
“Carracosta, They can live both in the ocean and on land. A slap from one of them is enough to open a hole in the bottom of a tanker. Their incredible jaw strength enables them to chew up steel beams and rocks along with their prey.”
The boy gave a slight hum then flicked to the next entry.
“Blastoise, The jets of water it spouts from the rocket cannons on its shell can punch through thick steel.”
He couldn’t help but quickly notice their power and how both had the ability to puncture steel, however, the Blastoise used water to do so, and the Carracosta used it’s fins and jaws. If the Carracosta’s best offense is in physical attacks, and the Blastoise’s in Special Attack…then the Carracosta may be at a disadvantage.
“Do it!” Shouted Jake.
Carla growled and leapt high into the air. A turquoise stream followed her hands, wind started to circulate around them.
She roared as she slapped her fins together, creating a powerful shock wave.
Static gathered in the air. The air temperature started to rise. It was getting humid, but Carla was more used to tropical climates when on land.
Static gathered together into three huge orbs of electricity. She roared and threw down her arms, the wind trails vanished, but three huge spheres of electrical energy were flung at the water where she spotted the Blastoise.
Ooc// T’was a Hidden Power attack.
Blastoise saw the electric orbs and quickly dodged, he then charged up his cannons and jumped out of the water, into the rain, he spotted the Carracosta and shot a powerful, charged up Hydro Pump straight at it, also gaining power from the Rain
Carla growled and used Withdraw, tucking into her shell.
“Bide!”
Her shell began to shine white as she got hit with the Hydro Pump, being thrown back into a wall, but her shell protected her from any real damage, but if her Bide attack was going to do any fatal damage she would need a lot more hits, but she doubted the Blastoise would hit her knowing she had a Bide in use.
“Now, Bite!”
Carla growled and used Aqua Jet, bouncing off the wall. She didn’t want to touch the water knowing she had just electrified it. She landed on one of the ice floes and received a mild static shock, but she took no notice and jumped on towards the Blastoise, her jaws wide open and poised to attack.
Cub huffed,dunking his head into the water,getting shocked. “…what was that?..” Cub said as he jumped in the now electrified water,now laughing. “AGH! THIS TICKLES! AH HAH! IT TICKLES. MAKE IT STOP. HAH!” Cub then huffed. “Ok,this dosnt tickle. it hurts…quite a lot…OW!” Cub said as he sneezed,freezing part of the water. “Bah…”

Blastoise saw the Carracosta’s bide and bite combo, so blastoise used Rapid spin just to get Carracosta away from it
“Blastoise, be careful”
Blastoise then used Ice beam on the electrifying water, so it was safe to stand on the now iced over surface, but if the ice breaks and one falls in, its all over.
Carla used Aqua Jet to lighten her drop on the ice, growling at the Blastoise.
“Are you just going to take that? Don’t let him push you around Carla, Use Rock Smash!”
Carla’s fin glew white and she skidded across the ice, just like she used to do in the winters after she met Jake. She scored the ice with her thick claws, weakening the ice, hoping she wouldn’t be the one to fall first.
She roared as she swiped her fin horizontally at the Blastoise, despite having the Rock Smash attack, a slap from her fin could easily bust a hole into a tanker.
Seth sighed as he looked up into the building. The mouth of the Victory Road cave was dark, and smoke was seeping from where he had called upon his Charizard.
He walked in, his feet silently crushing the grass below, his tails dragging across the floor, twitching in excitement.
He didn’t even bother healing his pokemon, not a scratch was yet on him.
He just went straight on and challenged the first member of the elite four.
Gengar growled and dodged, diving into the floor once more, this time he grabbed the Arcanine’s feet and attempted to drag him half into the ground, so his face would face the ceiling, luckily he should do less damage there.

Cub huffed as he dissapered,this battle was a bore now…
Riley watched as a trainer entered the elite 4. He ran over and patted seth’s back. “Hey,kid. Wish ya luck! The elite four’s strong,and i should know…I challenged em a long time ago,quite strong!” Riley said as some of the other trainers in the elite 4 murmerd and whisperd something about the champion. He then turned to the trainer he was talking to earlier. “Say kid,you seem pretty strong. Wanna save some time and battle the champion,right now?” Riley said,even more people murmering.
The nurse Joy spoke up. “But sir,this isnt the right place to battle…shouldnt you-”
“Itll be fine! That is,if the kid accepts.” He said looking twords Seth.
“…why not?” Seth muttered under his breath, almost like a challenge, or supposing a threat or regret.
Seth put his hands in his pockets and his right hand fiddled with a shrunken Pokeball.
From behind him formed a Rampardos, it’s eyes shut softly, facing the ground with a small smile across it’s face.
“Dos” It said quietly, opening it’s eye to get a side glance at the Champion. He stood behind his owner and awaited orders.
“I hope you don’t mind…I always start with my Rampardos.”
The Rampardos growled impatiently, stamping lightly, as if trotting on the spot.
“Hush now dear” He said, in a strangely motherly voice, yet something sinister about him made it sound somewhat ill. He turned around and stroked the Rampardos under the chin.
“Just be patient”

After the battle with seth and riley i would prefer no battles and such for a while,unless its a quick match.
“All right,but…as you probobly know,im the champion of Kanto! Do your worst! Sceptile,lets shine!” Riley said as he threw out a Sceptile. “Scep…” The Sceptile said,bowing twords Seth and the Rampardos. “I wish you luck,let this battle be a good one,eh?..”

Seth gave a sly huff. He noticed the fact they were outdone in the elemental department, but Dracorex has been specially trained to defend himself against those super effective to him.
“Let’s do this…”
Dracorex roared and jumped high over Seth, landing in front of him. Such agility for a rock type.
He roared and took the first move, screaming loudly,using an Uproar attack.
“Are you sure you don’t want to do this elsewhere? This may get a little…messy.”
“Itll be fine…” Sceptile huffed as he threw down a few seeds,a few seconds later a wall of roses and ivy bloomed from the leaves,blocking the uproar. However,it couldnt protect that well agenst a physical attack from this beast after the uproar,so Sceptile stayed on his guard.
Blastoise got hit from the attack, but then returned in with a skull bash, which could easily take a tauros or 2 down…
Blastoise started to shine with an iron glow, then charged at the Carracosta

Carla huffed and waited, ready to receive the attack, after all…her Bide was still active.
In fact, she ran towards him, her shell gave a shine, a multitude of colors. Her attack, speed and defense were still active also.
Dracorex stomped and roared, he wondered what that attack was, it was probably Frenzy Plant.
“That won’t stand in our way…Dracorex, tear it down”
The Rampardos roared and dragged it’s feet across the ground like a Tauros before a charge.
He roared and dashed at the wall with a great speed. It roared, it’s head started to glow. From the ground arose huge waves of snow and ice, it followed the Rampardos like a wave.
“Avalanche”
Rampardos roared and headbutted the wall of vines and ivy, the wave of snow and ice followed quickly after, it almost matched the size of the ivy wall.
“Dragon Tail”
Rampardos spun with a dragon tail, ready to attack the Sceptile.
