This game has just barely been announced. I myself think that what they’ve shown us is sort of in “beta” stages. I have a feeling that they will most likely improve on the 3D, sooner or later.
By the way, Fennekin looks ADORABLE.

Yeah but in the video there is one section where the guy swings on a rope and his glasses are left behind during the swing animation. (God I hate those glasses!) This suggests that they are not part of the characters Base model and are in fact an optional accessory.

Yes, but that is a HINT that customizable trainers MAY be in the game. It does not mean they will be, but seeing from the hints Nintendo gave us this may lead to the fact that customizable trainers will be available. BUT. It could be a coincidence.
All we csn do is guess.
…Maybe there will be several, slightly different male and female protagonists to choose from! Just a wild guess, but it’s possible. :'D Or you might need to take a personality test like the test in PMD.
My favourite of the 3 GEN 6 starters has to be chespin… it is one of the cutest. If it doesn’t get good evos, I will probably rage. Froakie has great potential, and it looks pretty cool. Where as Fennekin. Hmm. People are gonna go crazy over fennekin.
