This is a rather… intermediate roleplay. Please only join if you know you’re going to actually put effort into your posts, and roleplay correctly. This means typing more than 2 sentence posts; no exceptions ever. If you are not going to read what I spent time typing, read the rules, or at least act like you care enough to spend time typing, click that back button now.

Introduction
Your parents finally think you’re ready… They finally think you can handle this… They have signed you up for an academy that is for becoming a Pokemon trainer. Somehow, you passed the entrance exam, and have been accepted into this academy. It is supposedly the best Pokemon academy in the Kohti region. In the classes, the students normally just goof off considering the teachers assign work and go off. In the high school, the students remain in only class (not for P.E / Battling though) rather than transitioning through many different classrooms. Considering you have come from a different region, you must live in the dorms. Today is the day you will be arriving to the academy by ship.

Plot
Basically, you are a student attending a high-class school that prepares you for your future job as either a Pokemon trainer, breeder, coordinator, connoisseur, or ranger. In this school, you do not move from class to class (except for P.E / Battling classes). In this roleplay you will live in a dorm as well. The dorms are same-gender, so no boys in girls’ dorm or vice versa. This will be a lot like a high school roleplay, just… more towards Pokemon. In this roleplay, there will be one outing a day. This is the time you can chat with other students, battle, and catch wild Pokemon. The outing is pretty much like going outside of school for 2 hours. During the 2 hours, you can catch a bus, ride a bike, take a ship to the main region, or walk around. This region is rather small; there are only 5 towns, 2 caves, and 1 mountain.

Locations
Tranquility Academy - Well-known school. Has 2 dorms, and high-class students. Located on a separate island than the actual region.
Harmonical Town - A small rural town. The ship that picks up students from the academy arrives here. Population: 9.
Moyaka Town - A larger town than Harmonical, just northeast of it as well. Population: 14
Umical City - A city besides the ocean. It is rumored to be home to a legendary water-type Pokemon. Population: 29
Gostiho Town - A town besides a mountain. A rare Pokemon is supposed to be around here on Sundays. Population 18
Yama City - A city with a rocky terrain. It is close to Iwaka Mountain, and Yumo Cave. Population: 24
Yumo Cave - A cave near Yama City. Is home to tough Pokemon. It’s west of Iwaka Mountain It is said that the ghost of a small child was seen around once.
Iwaka Mountain - A mountain full of Fighting, Ground, Rock, and Normal-type Pokemon. It is to the north of Yama City.
Unknown Cave - A cave that is rumored to be somewhere around this region. Its location is completely unknown.

HMs
01 Cut - Allows you to cut small trees.
02 Fly - Allows you to fly on any Pokemon. You cannot fly into unknown territory.
03 Surf - Allows you to ride a Pokemon through water.
04 Strength - Allows you to ride your Pokemon. (In the games, you push rocks. I always thought you should ride your Pokemon for HM strength. xD )
05 Dive - Allows you to go underwater while surfing.

Rules

  1. If you break any of these rules twice, you will be taken out of this roleplay. No exceptions.
  2. Proper grammar. At least to where it doesn’t make a seventh grade English teacher cringe.
  3. Three sentences or more per post. No exceptions.
  4. No Mary-sues or Gary-oaks.
  5. Relationships ? Sure. This is high school anyway. Don’t take it too far though, PG-13.
  6. You technically can skip classes, but it won’t look good on your permanent record.
  7. This should go without saying, but… do not godmod. Do things within your character’s limitations.
  8. 3 characters per person at maximum. I recommend 1 per person though…
  9. No text-talk. This means no, “2” “u”, or anything else like that.
  10. Use the spell-check. Do not neglect it please.
  11. All of your characters must be human. No nekos, no inus, no pokemorphs, nothing unless it’s human.
  12. Have fun ! Be serious when the time comes however ~

A new RP! At last I can spring into action! It’s not my usual style, but I think I’ll join for my own benefit, and to actually RP, seeing as I haven’t been in an RP for… a long time.

Full Appearance: Alexander has light brown hair, and a tan complexion. His hair curls in a messy, uncontrollable way. He wears a pair of glasses, that if looked at carefully appear to work like small computer screens, and usually wears clothes from the Orre region, a black and red jacket styled after the first hero (Wes) of the Orre region, where he was born. He also has a data-pad on his wrist that he kept after leaving the Orre Region, a red device that is able to work in a similar way to many devices given to trainers.

Personality: Normally sarcastic and outgoing, Tyson holds respect for his teachers and fellow students, but takes rivalries with other students very seriously. He is a bit of a sore loser and a know-it-all, and loves to put knowledge out whenever he can, often to the annoyance of others. While he can sometimes act superior and arrogant he tries to behave as best he can.

Hometown: Phenac City
History: Tyson moved from the Orre region after living there for ten years, and still considers it his home. He decided he would return to the region after he was prepared to take on the Realgam Tower.

During his time in the Orre region, Tyson was always fascinated with the Realgam Tower, during and after its construction. Naive to the incidents going on in the region at the time, Tyson wanted to become the top trainer of the Realgam Tower, however his parents refused to listen to anything he tried to say about joining the trainers in the tower.

Due to the activity in the region, and the lack of wild Pokemon, Tyson didn’t become a trainer until his family left to the Hoenn region when Cipher began to return to power again. Tyson still kept hold of a lot of his things from Orre, including his sense of fashion, and an array of technology, only a small fraction of which he brings about with him.

Tyson acted as the caring older brother as his siblings grew older, and often serves as a role model for his younger siblings after leaving Orre. His father worked as a Pokemon ranger, and was often gone for long amounts of time without returning home. His mother worked as a event manager, and often left Tyson and his siblings to their own devices as they got older. By the age of twelve, Tyson had taken over much of the standard care taking of the family.

As time continued, Tyson concluded that he would likely not become a trainer. At 14, his father brought home a Shuppet in order to take care of it until it was ready for release. Tyson took to the Shuppet and eventually it accepted him as its trainer. He decided to send in an application to a series of trainer schools rather then travel, and to his great pleasure, he was accepted to the most prestigious of those applications.

Full Appearance: A girl rather tall for her age is how most people see Blanc. She has bluish-gray eyes and short brown hair that goes to her neck. She wear a blue choker with white stripes. It is shaped like a bow around her neck, and it has a blue gem in the middle of it. She wears a big brown bow on her hair, it also has white stripes on it around the ends of the bow. She wear a spaghetti strap dress that is white with brown straps. Around her stomach, she wears a belt for appeal. The dress goes down to her knees, on the dress there’s blue and brown stripes. On the bottom of her dress, there’s a brown and white cross pattern. For her shoes, she wears a pair that straps around her ankle. The straps are white with brown lining. The part of the shoe covering her toes is blue with the same gem she has on her choker.
(I’m really not good with appearances, so here’s a picture if I didn’t describe it very well. xD; Just add the bow I mentioned before, and subtract the hat.)

Habits: She has a habit of staring at people when she’s thinking about them. She also tends to memorize whatever they say or do if she’s paying attention to them.

Fears: She is suffering from Achluophobia (fear of darkness), a fear of people due to an accident a few years ago, and a fear of failing.
Hopes: She hopes to return to her hometown in Johto as a top coordinator.
Secrets: Her only secret is why she won’t speak to others often.

Personality: Blanc is somewhat shy towards others and rarely smiles. She does not like to be bothered when doing what she wants and occasionally outbursts with swearing. She sometimes throws minor temper tantrums when upset. She is afraid of the dark, and throws a temper tantrum if she is left without light. She rarely speaks to others, especially because of something that happened to her as a child.

Hometown: Violet City, Johto

History: Blanc. An unexpected child from her parents; along with her twin sister, Kenya. Before she was born, her parents lived in Goldenrod City. Once they knew they were going to be parents, they left the busy city to live in a quieter town; for the sake of the children. After 3 months of wondering where they would move, they decided to move to Violet Town. A few months later… the twins were born. Their parents named them Blanc and Kenya respectively. As children, they wouldn’t leave each other’s side. Other children offered to play with them, but they always refused; always keeping to themselves, never talking to others their age.

Once they got older, Blanc began to take interest in becoming a coordinator, and Kenya wanted to study Pokemon as a professor. Blanc was upset in Kenya’s choice to be a professor. She was upset because they would have to take separate paths on the rode to their future. She had always wanted to be with her older twin sister for the rest of her life. Kenya got into a school for becoming a professor rather easily at age 14, while Blanc struggled to get into any school.

A few months later, the inseparable twins were now separated. Kenya had gone off to her professor school in Kanto while Blanc was still looking for a school that would accept her. A few months before their birthday, Blanc applied to the Tranquility Academy. She noticed that it was supposed to be the best school in the world, so she didn’t get her hopes up.

The day of her birthday finally came. She got a letter in the mail from her twin sister, Kenya. She apparently missed Blanc, but she had made new friends quite easily. She hoped that Blanc had made new friends as well, but she hadn’t. In fact, Blanc had just stayed in the home with her parents for the full time Kenya was away. The next day then came, and Blanc got another letter in the mail. It was from the academy she had applied to awhile ago. It read,

Hello there! Thank you for applying to take classes to become a coordinator in the future. We are glad to inform you, you have been accepted to join us in the next semester. You will be taking trainer classes as well as coordinator classes. We have many dorm rooms available in case your parents do not live in the Kohti region. Those of you planning to live in the dorms, please take the boat on August 12th. Classes start on August 15th however. This will give you time to get acquainted with your dorm-mates and other students of the opposite gender. Once again, thank you for applying, we hope to see you next semester!

Blanc smiled as she read the letter. She was going to be successful in life. Just like Kenya. She hoped she would finish her classes and one day see Kenya again.

Traits: A very vain Dratini. It is very smug about its shiny status. It also loves to eat, much like Blanc does. These two are a perfect match when it comes to food. However, when it comes to personality… they’re worse enemies because of how selfish and vain the Dratini is.
Abilities: Ryuu can swim like all other Dratini can. Rather than normally having Shed Skin, this Dratini has Marvel Scale. It is an ability that helps a bunch during both contests and battles.

Personality: Maria is a cheerful girl although she is a bit of an airhead. She doesn’t talk much although she has a lot of friends back home.
Hometown: Maria’s hometown is Straiton City.
History: Maria is from a small family from the small Straiton City. She usually was never home but out with her friends who liked to walk around the city and find out interesting information. Maria herself didn’t talk much but when she did it always was about how her friends were always able to connect to each other. Maria always went to the gym with her friends to try and talk to Cilan, one of the gym leaders, but she would never get a chance because she couldn’t seem to get herself to talk to him. After a while her parents told her that they signed her up for one of the best schools for becoming a connoisseur. It was the famous Tranquility Academy.

History: Khayal lived with her family in Celadon city for a long time, but then moved from time to time. They are currently living in Saffron City for only a while. Khayal doesn"t talk much, and is quite shy at some times. She was always very rarely out and about with friends. Her father always wanted to become a famous trainer, and her mother a co-ordinator. Khayal was never truly able to choose what she wanted to be, so her parents decided to enroll her into the academy, to mix with other people and to help her make up her mind.

Traits: Nidoran can be quite defiant and stubborn, and he tends to ignore others.
Abilities: Poison Point, Excalibur can dig a little naturally. Like many other rat pokemon, Nidoran"s teeth are constantly growing, so he must gnaw on things to stop them growing too much.

A connoisseur is a type of trainer who rates the friendship between trainer and Pokemon. In the Best Wishes Pokemon anime, Dento / Cilan is a connoisseur.

Abilities: Cyndaquil is capable of defending itself by using the fire on its back. The fire grows more powerful as the Cyndaquil becomes more angry or defensive. Cyndaquil is also able to expel obscuring smoke to lower the accuracy of its opponent.

Personality: Despite an outgoing tough exterior he likes being around friends and enjoys some interaction once in a while. He liked people acknowledging him for his work. He is kind of soft inside though, and most times he may seem soft rather than tough, simply being to tired to keep up the charade any longer.

History: Seth"s father always used to research legendary pokemon, ever since his rare sighting of an entei. His father never approved of Seth coming on his research, but more or less everytime Seth came the legendary would be sighted. One day however, they went out in search of Groudon"s resting place, and by chance Rayquaza was sighted. Seth was young back then, and mesmerised by the twists and turns it made in the air. Seth ended up following it off and got seperated from his father and the exploration group.
When he found his way back his father was missing, after setting ff to look for him, he still hasn"t been found, despite the exploration group"s searches.

Traits: Helios shows great loyalty to Seth, and is quite the dreamer. Helios always imagines himself becoming stronger than any other. Helios" main goal is to one day become a Typhlosion. Seth"s favorite pokemon used to be Typhlosion, and that is why Helios wishes to become a Tyhlosion, inn hopes that Seth will be more happy with him and his achievements.
Abilities:Cyndaquil is capable of defending itself by using the fire on its back. The fire grows more powerful as the Cyndaquil becomes more angry or defensive. Cyndaquil is also able to expel obscuring smoke to lower the accuracy of its opponent.
