Somewhere beyond... [Rp]

Zack noticed a boy running out the lab,he looked roughly…9…10 years old?

The white haired boy walked twords the lab and stood a bit behind Kamilla. “Im…Zachary. Nice to meet you…” he said in a shy tone.

Putting his hands his pockets, Franz calmly walked towards the Lab. He saw a few others outside and some others were talking inside. He wasn’t really the one to talk at the moment, so he wanted to get his starter as fast as possible. He caught someone looking at the long canvas that wrapped his wooden sword on his back, he immediately started to walk towards the Lab faster.

Walking towards the right, Franz avoided the group of those who looked like new trainers and went into the Lab. It was filled with buzzing machines and a man who obviously looked like the Professor. He was talking with a young girl. The girl was near Franz’s age, but she seemed a bit younger.

He stood behind the girl, and introduced himself to the Professor.

“Hello, my name’s Franz Gladwyn. Nice to meet you.”

OOC: Finally posting because of some confusion with Sapphy :P Anyway, time to start!

“Mother, I will be back, im going to go practice some contest moves.”

Renan’s mother was ok, so he went to the middle of town. Everyone was cheering on Renan, considering he was going to try and get to the Grand Festival.

“Okay, hi everybody, you all know me as Renan, but soon, you will know me as the future winner of the Gand Festival!”

The town cheered with happiness. They are very excited to see if he will make it.

“Ok, now, Lioare, fire up this crowd!” Renan’s Lioare bursted out from behind, pumped up to train.

“Ok Liore, start off with Ember!” The beautiful flames poured out of Lioare as if the were bubbles. They were aimed at the sky, as him and Renan had practiced to do.

"Now, Mud Slap! Then Sand Attack! " The mud hit the flames and they came falling down. Then before they hit the ground, the sand made it fly straight back up.

“Bite!” The bite hit the sandy, mud covered flames as they went into Lioares mouth.
“Ember!” The muddy, sand covered flames, aolong with normal flames bursted out of Lioare’s mouth, creating a sparkling brown glitter-like thing. Although, the move malfunctioned, and mud and sand fell all over the place.

“Aww… we have been trying that for weeks, Lioare.” Renan was dissappointed. He decided to keep practicing the move until it was mastered

OOC: Sorry for the long post, but I was just putting in all of the stuff from all the time I lost from NOT RP’ing.

ooc:…um. dude. we havnt got our starters yet…unless sapph told you you can…do…whatever your doing…contest or w/e…

Btw:not an actual rp post, sorry but…yeah. xD not much to do till we get the starters (poor proffesser having to give out so many “Rare” pokes.)

Reika saw that people were starting to go inside the lab, so she, too, followed the crowd. She saw a few people already inside, but paid them no attention. The only person in the room that caught the young girl’s green eyes was a male figure.

The male figure wore a lab coat, so she assumed that he was the professor of that had promised the new trainers starter Pokemon. The man had such… uniquely styled hair, that Reika thought he was more lion than human. She saw a… line of trainers, so she stood in the back.

Reika was somewhat shy around adults, so she kept her head hanging low. She put her hands in the pockets of her jacket and introduced herself quietly to the others, as well as the professor. “I… I’m Reika… Reika Kuran,” she said quietly, hoping she was heard.

She then took a look at the trainers around her, and then back to the floor. She didn’t do too well in groups, so she just waited for the professor to talk.

OOC: ah. i see we haven’t gotten far. good. i won’t be behind.

Sinacar arrived in Nerema town, and quickly walked over to the lab. She opened the door and stepped in, suddenly noticing the people in the lab.

She looked around, noticing she had no idea who any of these are. she didn’t realize how many people there would be.

“uhm… h-hello…” She said, awkwardly.

OOC: … eh. i tried, rite?

Ooc// imaperson is from Guaros so he is excused. He has his own team at the moment, but they arn’t that strong. The new trainers will catch up sooner or later.

The professor nodded. “Well, very nice to meet you all” He crossed his arms and smiled. “Bet you’re all eager to get started right?”

Kam slightly nodded, unsure if anyone else did.
“Good, well now.” He walked over to the table Kamilla was at earlier. He tipped out the pokeballs from the basket onto the table. The cloth landed somewhere on the floor.

I couldn’t notice how rough he was being. Not exactly what I expected from a professor.
He turned around towards the back door he had come out of.
“Blosseaf, can you bring out the tray please?”
I wondered just who Blosseaf was, It wasn’t long until I found out.

A small pokemon came out of the back door carrying a two level metal cart. There are three boxes on the top level. On the bottom are small boxes with clips on the back. Each has 6 holes on them. I wonder that they are.

The Blosseaf cheered happily at the sight of new trainers. The professor picked up one pokeball from each box on the tray, releasing it.
The Poleves sat on the edge of the Tray. The Iguiver and the Fryion sat eagerly beside the tray.

“As you are still new trainers, you can choose a starter pokemon from here. There’s Poleves, the grass type.”
He pointed to the small pokemon on the Tray.
“Iguiver the water type and Fryion the fire type.”

The Iguiver and Fryion seemed to be talking to each other, but the Fryion’s ears flicked side to side occasionally, looking up to us every so often. The Poleves sat quietly, it’s eyes following the Professor.
“Now, these are mine” Said the professor. “But you can take the pokeballs from these boxes here.”

One was green, one was red and the other was blue. I guessed they were marked by element.
I decided to wait, watching what everyone else chose.

Zack shyly looked at the green pokeballs, then eyed the poleves, it looked like a solid pokemon.

Zack took one of the pokeballs from the boxes, a green pokeball. He stepped outside and sent it out.

The whitish light took shape and turned green, a Poleves, kneeling down in a knightly manner.

“Heh…you sure are a polite little pokemon arnt you…”

The Poleves looked up at me, smiling lightly.

ooc:the small text will be first person. regular text will be well…regular. im trying out first person, seeing if i fail horribly, or actualy succede.

The red eyed boy took a pokeball from the green box. He walked outside. I can’t see him anymore, people are in the way of the door.

The Fryion looked a little stuck up to me. It pointed it’s nose up and shut it’s eyes when it realized people were looking at it.
The Iguiver just huffed. I’m not sure at who he huffed to…I think it’s a he.
The Poleves just stared at the Professor. To be honest, it scared me a little.

I still didn’t know just which to choose. Back home, all the new trainers usually started with the fire type and turned out successful. A lot of others would choose a water type. I hardly remember anyone taking a grass type.
The professors back home did say that Grass types were easier to train…I guess.

The white-eyed girl picked up a pokeball and released her new partner.

A small Poleves emerged from the flash of white light.
“Pole?” It was sat on the floor, legs crossed, arms on it’s lap.
I must have fallen in love with that little sound he made, my heart felt like it sank.
I bent down and stroked it’s head.
“Hello there” I said quietly. It looked a little puzzled as it raised it’s head, but it did smile a little.
“Poleepol”

ooc:D’aawww :3.

Zack’s Poleves looked at Kam and the other Poleves. “Polev” The grass type said, waving at Kam and the other grass type from the door.

ooc:sorry for short post. xD. beginnings are kinda hard for me, since im pretty rusty.

Franz nodded his head towards the Professor - A sign of respect. Slowly, he headed towards the red box. His arm reached out to take a Poke Ball, but paused. This was the start of his journey, he couldn’t hesitate. Summoning his courage, he took one Poke Ball out. Walking further away from the group and squatted down next to the boy with White hair and the furry parka on.

“Hm,” Franz mumbled as he pressed the button that released the Pokemon out of the capsule.

“Fry-Riron,” the fiery cat meowed. It’s large eyes stared at Franz in amazement and Franz stared back.

“Fryide! Fryide,” it meowed again. It’s eyes sparkling.

“That’s it!” Franz clapped his hands together. “From now on, we’re partners and your name is Pride Maximus!”

OOC: i like that idea. 1st person…
cue theft

Well, everyone else is choosing… I thought, and cautiously approached the group of pokemon. I was just a couple feat away, when I felt a tugging at my dress. I looked down, noticing one of the Fryions tugging at my dress playfully.

I sat down carefully, and picked up the fryion. The fryion made a yipping noise as i picked him (… i think its a him…) up. He smiled.

“Hey little Fryion… Do you want to be my first pokemon?” I said.

“Fryyy!” Fryion responded, with a cute little fireball, which dissipated as to not hit me. I smiled. At times like this, it made me wonder if pokemon really could understand us…

I tried to put him back down, but he wouldn’t let me. He climbed across my arm, and stood on my shoulder.

“Is that your perch?” I asked.

“Fride!” Said The fryion, playfully. I had no choice but to let him sit there. Its okay, Because he’s kind of warm.

OOC: i’d say i did good.
Blue: ME
Red: Fryion
i might assign other colors if i get more characters. maybe a Rival.

[spoilerGigantic post.:1go7ztw5]Lena felt the small envelope with her fingers, tracing the outlines with the tip of her finger. She sat down next to her easel, a painting of a large city. She ripped it open, giving the details on what to do, and such. “Oi…,” She went out to the small lake she lived near, and let her Milotic out. “Come, lower your head,” She said quietly, but with force. The Milotic obeyed, and lowered her head with simple grace. “My, my. My time for departing is near, my dearie. You shall go back to the old Pokemon school I found you in, I"ll miss you,” The Milotic had a distant glare it it"s eyes, it knew it was going to have to leave. It wasn"t her Pokemon.

Lena grabbed her envelope, and then grabbed her ruby red bike. She had spray-painted the ugly, boring silver. She started off, and pedaled faster and faster every town she went by, until she arrived at a large town. A town with a mega-mart and a radio station. She put her bike on a lock, and arrived at a small, dainty house colored yellow. A house she well remembered.

Clenching the door handle, she whipped out her old key. Clenching it with a melancholy face, she inserted the key and twisted it slowly. The slow clank of the door unlocking, symbolized success. She was going to do this. She creaked the old door, wanting to remember their face, their smiling – even disapproving face. It was so hard to try to forget them, dying her hair didn"t do anything whatsoever. They were always there. In the bottom of her heart, no matter how hard she tried to break the thick, long chain of childhood.

“Me ama! Papa?” She said with an excited, but shaken voice. “Lena? No, no, no, my hysterics can"t play on me again…,” her long not-forgotten mother had said with her loud voice. “Come here, Fredric!” she said, embracing the small girl without her parents. Her father"s large stomping feet came in the corridor. “What do you–,” a small tear came on his face, surprising his wife. “My daughter, my daughter…,”

Clenching the balled up letter in her hand, she had to tell them. She didn"t want to leave, but she had to. This could, well, could fulfill herself; exploring the new lands ; finding new Pokemon. It could be so overwhelming. It could be amazing!

“Mother, Father, I have to give this to you. I"m… sorry,” she extended her arm, revealing the crumpled up ball. “What is this?” the uncrumpled the letter and read the mother put on her small reading glasses. “9:30am, Guaros…,” they were hurt. Hurt she would leave, so very fast. Just after their reunion. “I"m sorry, but I must go! This is a one in a lifetime kind of thing, Mother, Father,” A smile had appeared on the sad parent"s face. “We understand, it"s your life, we shouldn"t have made you what we wanted us to be,” a wavering smile showed. “Very well,”

Lena was off. She had to pedal fast to get there by night time. Her plan was to rent a hotel room with some of the money her parents gave her. She knew her Milotic would be waiting for her went she got back. Her parents would be waiting by the door, like they did for those 3 years. She didn"t even realize the arrogance she had displayed. So simple to hurt someone"s feelings.

She checked into the motel, since the hotel in Olivine was crazy overpriced. She fell asleep in the musty, old room. She had a small, tiny room, with a single bed. The wallpaper was brown flowers, with was obviously peeling. The bed was actually quite comfortable, but the pillows were trash. Pictures of Arceus laid across the room. She fell into a slumber.

8:30am.

She got up, opened her suitcase and prepared her dress. She went into the small shower and washed. She blow dried her hair and tied it in a loose black and white polka dot silk ribbon. “Oui… I look nice, oui, oui,” She stepped out the door and walked to the dock, she was 30 minutes early. She read a magazine she packed in her bag.

When the ferry arrived she scurried in with a few other people. A large sailor stared into her soul, but almost as a joke. A heartily laughed left his wide open mouth. “Hahah! Your room is room 44! Bottom deck! Now wheres your ticket?!” her very thick French accent glistened when she talked. “Oui, uhm… Yes, thank you,” she sighed and handed it to him. She grabbed her stuff and continued to her room.

She flipped through her cell phone. It read one message, from the Pokeschool.

“I see you left for Guaros, you"re quite lucky. When we figure out something, expect a surprise,”

She sighed and tossed her phone into her suitcase. It was a cheesy flip-phone, colored a ruby red. Her favorite color, of course. She had a little charm, it was a Milotic. Her Milotic was her only friend while she was in the little house, not really even a house. She was tired, but couldn"t sleep. The slow rocking of the ship sooner or later serenaded her to sleep, though.

A loud honk bellowed and echoed through her ears. She grabbed her stuff and retied her ribbon. Through the porthole, she could see people already left. She ran before the ship departed again.

The sand was so clean, so very clean. It was gorgeous, pure beauty. It was so clean, human probably weren"t here for long… Or smog would be in the air, but the air was crisp and clean. She continued down the dock and through the woods. She was never a fan of bug Pokemon, so she kept her blinders on and continued farther. A small town could be seen with a larger building. It must"ve been the lab.

She picked a small tropical green flower from the luscious flower beds, making sure no one noticed. She scurried into the lab, trying not to be seen by the group. “The professor is here,”

“My name?” her accent shined, “Lena, I am French as you can probably see,” a small, soft chuckle let out.

A starter Pokemon. Of course… She looked around and swallowed, she didn"t want to start over. She wanted her Milotic. But, she continued forward and saw a cute little fire cat.

“Bonjour-- hello!” the cat looked at her with determination. “I"ll choose you, heehee,”

“Your name is Seraphine, for burning one in French,” She let out a large smile and patted her leg for the Pokemon to follow.

Reika saw a boy choose a Fryion. She had her eyes on the red box, and sighed. As he walked away, Reika began to walk toward the same box he had chosen his Pokemon from.

She stood in the same place the boy had stood in before leaving and took one of the Pokeballs. “… Hello,” she said to the red and white Pokeball she held in her hands. She stared it for a few seconds more before looking to the professor. “Thank you, sir,” she said with a curt bow.

She then decided to go to the corner next to the boy that had also chosen from the red box. “Hi,” she said as she sat next to him and the boy who introduced himself to her as Zack earlier.

After saying a blunt hi, she released her chosen Pokemon from its Pokeball. Out of the Pokeball came a small, red, lion-like creature. It was quiet and just stared at the brunette. “Good morning to you too, sunshine,” Reika said with a small laugh.

“I’ll call you Kasumi,” she said with a nod to her new Pokemon. The Pokemon nodded in agreement, and showed what seemed to be a smile to her new trainer.

ooc:note. ill occasionaly do first person, for some reason. i find it easier to make a post with than…third person i think?

Zack smiled at the girl sitting next to him.

“Pol?..” Poleves said, walking over to Kasumi and bowed in a knightly manner again.

“Hmm…ill name you…Paladin.” I said to the new pokemon, the Poleves nodded twords me.

ooc:yeah. small text is first person if i havnt said before. :p

Ooc// I love how people are copying my idea. I feel special. (:

The Poleves happily cried out to the other Poleves. In a greeting manner of some sort. I couldn’t be sure.
It kind of hurt, not being able to understand the pokemon I should be with forever.

I smiled and looked up. The Professor said “Thank You” to one of the girls. The brunette as it seems, she was beside the red eyed boy. He also had a Poleves, she had a Fryion.

I couldn’t help but dread the lonely road ahead. As much as I wanted to pair up with someone, I couldn’t help but feel that it would be easier alone. Lonely, but easier.

I sighed again, stroking the small cream head of the grass type pokemon.
“Polee” It whispered, nudging it’s head closer to the palm of my hand. I suppose I wouldn’t be alone really.

I have Poleves with me now.

The Professor smiled to Reika. “Thank You” He said, regarding her own manners. He turned to the new trainers and clapped his hands together.

“Now now!”
Poleves turned his head to the Professor straight away, I couldn’t even stop myself.
He walked to the pile of Pokeballs on the table. The pile that he had tipped out from the basket earlier. The one with the tartan cloth.

He leant on the table and picked up one of the Pokeballs. Smiling as he held it.
"Everyone come ‘ere for a sec.’’
I stood up, Poleves by my side. I walked over slowly, keeping my distance however, I didn’t want to look too eager.

He picked up the clips from the bottom half of the tray. He clicked the shrunken Pokeballs into the clip and handed one to me. He gave them to everyone. They were of assorted colors. Mine in particular was white.
Oh the irony.

Poleves chirped from beside me. My heart sank again.
“Pole poll”

Franz hesitated, but walked over and took his clip. It was a cold, and icy blue - Just like his memories when he was younger. Franz took the canvas with the sword off his back and tied it to his waist. He untied the opening so the handle was sticking out.

This sword gave him a sense of security when it was by his side, ready to be swung. The wooden handle could be easily gripped and it felt warm from it hitting his back for the whole ride here to Nerema Town. He clipped the clip to the chest pocket on his coat. The light blue stood out against the darkness of the trench coat. It looked light the light shining from a window in the middle of the night. A clear signal of the future that lied ahead of these new trainers.

He got curious looks from others because of the sword near his side, but he didn’t care. He had his own pride and of course - his new partner tugging on his pants. Pride Maximus.

“Professor,” Franz asked quietly. “I know the gist about the Gym Challenge and all but, after this - Where are we going to go?”

ooc:lol. sorry. it just feels easier to write with really. xD. in most cases atleast.

The Professer handed me a clip with shrunken pokeballs inside, the clip was…blue.

I looked up at the proffeser and nodded thank you.

I went outside, Paladin eagerly looking at me.

Zack shook his head, and grabbed a pokeball from one of the pockets in the clip. “Well…hmm…” Lets see…do i press…this button right here? Zack thought as reddish light grabbed Paladin and sent it inside the pokeball.

The orb hummed as I held it in my hand,a small tinging sound confirming capture. I smiled a bit with glee and sent out Paladin the poleves, now my own pokemon,my first in the Guaros region…

I slug the clip over my shirt, going from my left shoulder to my right leg.

“Take a little rest…” I said to Paladin as I returned him, and put the pokeball in one of the pockets. I found 5 other pokeballs in the other clips and, well…left them there. Just in case anything totaly awesome came my way…

ooc:…yep.

The professor smiled. “Heh, don’t worry, I was just getting to that.”
The Professor waited for everyone to finish, then walked towards the odd machine that switched on earlier.

He opened a drawer compartment.
He pulled out rolls of thick paper, opening one up. A map of Guaros!

He put them out on a table beside the door.
On one side of the paper was the map, on the other was a color. I’m guessing they’re to match the clip colors.

He also put down several Pokedex. Matching colors…again.

I picked up the white map and the white Pokedex. All of them had black details on them. It reminded me of the Sinnoh Pokedex. Only…different.

“Well…” Kamilla said, putting the map and the Pokedex in her pockets. “Ready?”
“Poleh” He nodded, but I don’t think he knew about what he was agreeing to.

I nodded as I picked up a blue map and a blue pokedex, ready to start my journey.

Starter in hand, on to the journey!

Zack sighed as he looked twords the professer. “So…is there anything else we need to know? Like…stuff to watch out for?”
