The Eevee Chronicles (RP, dood)

… it’s rp time, everyone. start rping.

Silver awoke from being asleep her brother was still asleep next to her. Silver stood up and walked out side. she looked to the sky and saw the sun rising. She smiled and sat down and watched the sun rise.Blue woke up and looked around for his sister “silver” he said “Silver where are you?” he shouted he began to panic. he walked out side to see his little sister “phew there you are” . silver laughed “silly brother” she said and then smiled and looked back at the sky

Bubbles danced on the water’s surface, the lake’s faint ripples were silent to any ear. Marina sighed as she laid underwater, not feeling a need to rise anytime soon.

She heard the joyful cries of Vaporeon around, playing and dancing amongst the trees and high rised plants.
Marina listened silently as she slowly moved through the water, her current form masked by the water, giving her excellent camouflage.

Not as if it were any concern…
She raised her head, her body clear, like a jelly fish, she had a pale blue tint.

As her body climbed out of the water, her color came flooding back, once more she was back to normal.
She looked up at the grand tree before her, where shouts and cries were heard. She slowly walked over to see, once more the young, male Vaporeon were bullying their newest member, a young Eevee named Felix, come to seek information on how to use the peculiar blue rock in his possession.

“Children” Marina whispered, her shadow covering most of the litter. “What have I told about treating our guests?”
The boys looked amongst themselves, hoping someone would stand up and answer.
“…” Marina sighed and curled her tail around, covering her paws. “Now unless you want me to inform your mothers I suggest you go”

The boys all picked up at once and ran off in a hurry.
Marina gave out a small chuckle, then looked to the Eevee.
“I’m sorry” She said. “My name is Marina, what is yours?”

“F-Felix”
“Ah Felix…I knew I heard your name somewhere before”
“Huh?”
“That water stone you have, I’ve checked it over, I’m afraid to say it’s a fake”
“A fake?”
“Yes…where did you get it?”
“I- g-got it from urh…a Sableye”
Marina nodded, standing up and walking away. “Follow me”
Felix wagged his thick brown tail before darting off after her.

Marina brought the young Eevee to a den by the edge of the forest, it had been carefully dug, but looked on the verge of collapsing.
Marina had no fear as she strutted in, while Felix remained outside, looking down into the pitch black hole. There were lights flickering on the end…there must have been some sort of fire…however it got there.

Marina eventually emerged with a bag, it made clattering noises as she emerged, she spilled it’s content to reveal a Fire stone, a Water Stone and the chunk of a Moss Rock, among other stones or various colors and dazzling shines.

“…And you’re sure you wish to become a Vaporeon? Remember, once you evolve there’s no turning back.”
“I’m sure” Said Felix proudly.
“…Alright” Marina picked up the Water Stone in her mouth, and placed it onto Felix’s head.

The Eevee remained perfectly still as not to knock it off. In all of a sudden his fur began to glow, a harsh white.
The glowing continued as his shape began to change, into a blob, then into a sharp finned Vaporeon.

Marina hadn’t expected it, but as a Vaporeon he was rather large, his navy blue eyes shone amongst the faint, dappled sunlight.
“Congratulations” She said, as she walked around the large Vaporeon, bulky and muscular in appearance.

“Thank You” His voice was also different, deep and masculine, much different to the nerdy Eevee he once was.

Marina’s paw began to glow. She walked to his side and pressed it hard against his back, right thigh. A burn revealed itself on the place she touched him.

It was a paw mark, the paw mark of a Vaporeon, it had two odd protrusions either side of it, resembling fins, possibly in reference to the fins on either side of a Vaporeon’s face.

All members of the Vaporeon tribe were forced to have this marking applied to their right thigh. As a security precaution, those who leave, have it scratched off, covering it with three magnificent claw marks, scars which will stay forever, along with the marking they had been given.

Felix growled and winced at the pain of the burn, how a Vaporeon could produce such a heat was completely beyond him, but it didn’t matter now. He was a Vaporeon…finally. A proud one at that.

Verona cheered happily as she ran along the rm of the dormant volcano, either side of her was a terrible drop, and the ground she ran on was but a thin ledge, unstable and capable of shattering at even the slightest pressure. But it didn’t matter…she was winning this race.

The three male Flareon behind her were catching up.
There weren’t many young Flareon around here…they were all teenagers and young adults…a similar age to Verona. Thank Arceus they liked to play.

Verona smiled as she felt one of the Flareon brush past her back leg, he was catching up fast, and they were running out of room. Verona grinned as she suddenly slipped, tumbling down into the Volcano’s pit.

“Verona!” Shouted Drake as he stopped in his tracks, looking over the edge of the Volcano.
Verona was nowhere to be seen. He growled and squinted as he felt a sudden rush of cold air brush past his face, forcing him to pull back. From the pit leapt Verona, she had hidden under the ledge, out of sight.

Drake growled playfully as he watched Verona run off, quickly catching up once more.
“Don’t do that Verona, you could have killed yourself.”

“So could you!” Verona shouted, turning and pouncing onto Drake, throwing them off the side of the Volcano.
The two landed on a loose slab of rock, which held fast long enough to stop them hurtling off the volcano.

“Verona!” Shouted Drake in a whiny voice. “What was that for?”
Verona simply laughed at Drake. “Ah you’re such a baby” She said, a smile creeping across her face.
“Heh” he said quietly, under his breath giving a little smile back.

Both of them started to laugh when they felt the rock move suddenly. They stared wide eyed at each other as the rock began to shake.
“…I hate you” Drake said, giving Verona a stern glare.

They both screamed as the rock jutted out of it’s dent and slid down the Volcano.
“THIS. IS. YOUR. FAULT!” Shouted Drake, each word paused due to the rock hitting some loose stones and shaking violently.

“I KNOW! ISN’T IT FUN!” Shouted Verona happily. “LOOK NO PAW-WAAH!” She shouted, she raised her paw then lost her grip, nearly hurtling herself off the rock, if it were not for Drake grabbing her tail.

Drake’s words were mumbles and mutters, but she was able to guess a few of the words. Something something kill yourself.
Verona climbed back onto the rock, pressing her chest against it as she started to chuckle.
Drake growled and braced himself.

The rock finally hit the ground, but the sudden stop threw them both off.
Drake and Verona yelled as they tumbled off and into another slab of rock. Drake’s back legs were over his head, his back against the wall. An odd position overall.

He tilted his head back to see Verona laying upside down too, her back on the floor and feet i the air, she looked the right way up were it not for her paws high in the air.
“…I hate you” He said again, glaring at the younger Flareon.

Verona chuckled as she uprighted herself. Stumbling on her paws and flailing around a little.
Drake soon stood up too, shaking the dust off his fur.
Verona turned, flickering Drake a devilish smile. “Wanna go again?”
“No…”

Lightning roared as she slashed through the Kricketune’s attack. A simple X-scissor wasn’t going to stop her Toxic from working. The Kricketune fell onto it’s knees, the poison nearly wiped him out.
This is my chance. She thought, lunging for the Kricketune’s throat with a Thunder Fang…it was a successful attack.

She dropped the frail bug type from her jaw’s tight grip. She chuckled at the pokemon. His feeble attempt to protect his wife turned out to have less resistance than even she thought were possible.
The Kricketune was clicking it’s antennae, he was dying.

She was about to deliver the finishing blow when his whiny voice ran through her head.
“Light!”
Lightning growled, lowering her paw.
“What do You want?”

“Y-You have to come back.”
“Oh?” Light gave him a devilish glare, extending her claws before his face. “I need to sharpen these little baddies first, now unless you want to be my new scratching post I suggest you Scram!”

Ace growled, looking at the sharp nails. He knew she would just get angry, and this time he probably wouldn’t get away from her violent assault…as proof, his right paw had a large scar where fur refused to grow…

Ace started to walk away, turning his head, making a small ‘hurf’ Snarling sound at the female Jolteon, before walking away, his head held down.

Celestina was completely parched.

It had been awhile since she had stopped to eat or drink anything, and she had absolutely no idea where to go in the least. She never came across a fellow Eevee, and she had been traveling since late night. It was odd for Espeon, but it really didn’t bother her, she liked different.

Coming towards a lake, Celestina bent her head began to scoop up the water with her tongue as she drank from the clean lake. It was a beautiful sight, wild Moondrops had grown alongside it, along with water lilies, and some lavenders as well. Celestina smiled as she caught sight of a handful of Vaporeon. Had she wandered among their tribe? Maybe she could find their leader and ask them for help. And so, Celestina l as a complete stranger, wandered her way into the tribe of the Vapereon.

The silence was deafening…Felix stared at the Espeon in their territory. He growled quietly to himself, he could hear several of the others growling too.

The Vaporeon’s habitat was famous for it’s stunning beauty, however they were very protective considering so many came to visit. Eventually they resorted to almost completely banning stranger, attacking those who entered their territory…

The sharp finned Vaporeon growled as he stood up, his long ivory fangs glimmering in the moonlight.
“Hush, Felix” Marina walked out of a cave by the edge of the lake, walking in between the crowd of older Vaporeon and the Night walking Espeon, she sat more towards the side of the Vaporeon though.
“Calm down Felix, there’s nothing to worry about…”

Marina gave a soft smile to the Espeon, giving a slight nod.
A short growl was heard from Felix.
Already so violent. She thought. He’d certainly make a good warrior.
She averted her gaze from the aggresive Vaporeon to the Espeon. She quickly spotted the ripples of the water.
Just a drink…no need for alarm.

“Welcome Stranger…what brings you here?”

Celestina noticed the hostility of the clan. Her mistake. But how could she know? She was never in a group clan before.

“Greetings, I suppose you are the leader here?” She bowed her head in respect, hoping that it wouldn’t offend the clan leader. “I am Celestina, and I’m passing through, but I would like to bother you or your clan for a moment of your spare time with a question. Do you happen to know if the clan of the Espeons residents near here? Or their location perhaps?”

Marina turned behind her to hear yet more snarls and tuts from the adult males, most of the Vaporeon still awake were warriors, no surprise there, the families would have settled by now.

“Yes I am” She said, turning back to see the Espeon. She gave a nod back to the Espeon.

A clan of Espeon? She thought, looking at the floor to try and recall their location.
“…I do believe so, it’s quite a walk from here I’m afraid, Celestina, and it’s getting awfully late”
She turned around and nodded to Felix.

Felix nodded then walked away, a lot of the males seemed to be curious and rather cautious around him, confused about the Leader’s sudden liking to this newcomer.

“Please, why don’t you stay the night, we can depart in the morning” Marina said, flicking her tail left and right across the surface of the ground.

“Thank you, but would it be alright with your clan? I don’t want to but in…Miss…err, is it Mrs? I apologize I didn’t catch your name.”

Celestina did feel tired, she looked around at the Vapereon, hearing their comments and growling. To be honest, it didn’t bother her all too much. Not much as it should have atleast. She did like to travel, but she has been traveling since the sun setted last night. Almost a full day, yet she was compelled to find the Espeons…

“Don’t you worry about them” Marina said quietly. “It’s Miss, my name’s Marina, I apologize for not introducing myself.”

Marina stood up and flexed her paw. “Follow me” She said as she turned around and walked towards the cave, looking over her shoulder to check the Espeon was following.

In the middle of cave was a fireplace, flickering on the walls of the cave. Next to the fire place was a straw bed, and all around were pots filled with all sorts of berries and other objects.
“You can stay here for the night” Marina said, adjusting the straw bed. “I apologize if it’s not to your satisfactory.”

The Vaporeon walked aside and played with the sticks in the fire for a while, making sure it wouldn’t burn out.
“You best get a goods night rest, we’ll leave at sunrise. If that is alright with you?”

Marina’s attention was caught by the Vaporeon outside, he was wandering around by the lakes edge.
“…Excuse me” She said, standing up. “If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I’ll be sleeping in the lake today” She said, giving her a soft smile before walking off to the wandering Vaporeon.

Little to her surprise it was Felix, she still couldn’t believe his transformation. His behavior had almost flipped upside down since he evolved.
“What’s wrong Felix?”

“That Espeon, you trust her?”
“Why not?”
“It’s just, I heard stories of how pokemon would try and take over our territory.”
Our? Marina thought. He certainly has changed…
“…Those stories are likely true, but I trust this one, she’s a lost soul Felix, just like you were.”

Felix looked down at her with his bold green eyes, wondering what exactly she meant by that.
“Just trust me Felix, I’ve been here longer than you have, remember?” She joked, walking along the surface of the lake. “Go back to your hut and go to sleep, okay?”

“Uh, okay” Felix turned around, walking with his head down low, looking back several times to see what Marina was doing.

The Tribe leader sighed as she stared into the moon, it’s reflection flowing with the ripples of the water. She was sat on the large Lillypad which floated in the center.
A wind was coming, the trees were restless, they’d just have to hang on for now. It was going to be a cold night.

Celestina was very thankful for their kind leader, Miss Marina. She was thankful, but she overheard the hushed voices, her and another in a coversation, she would’ve felt bad, but she didn’t.

Celestina was tired, but she was also famished, so she made herself comfy with the berries, eating them to her liking, looking outside the cave, gazing up at the stars, watching the Vapereon clan. She had a longing for a clan, or someone to travel with.

The sensation, should couldn’t describe, the pain she often felt in her head, a warning perhaps. She was never one to believe Espeons had the ability to predict the future or anything crazy like that. She did believe in the stars though, after all, they were her only friend.

After the fire in the fireplace had died out for the night. Celestina crawled over the straw bed, placing her head down and lasping into a deep, deep, sleep.

The sun rose slowly over the peaks of the trees. The wind was soft, blowing leaves across the plains. The trees were whispering to the lake.
Marina was silent as she slept, slowly being awoken by the quiet whispers of nature. Tweets and chirps could he heard. In the distance nested many bird type pokemon, sharing songs and singing together.

A wonderful way to wake up.
Marina yawned and stretched like a Persian, shaking the water droplets off her skin. “…”
The sky was a lovely shade of blue, it made the lake shimmer and glint with life.

She smiled and turned around, bounding across the water gracefully. The children were waking up, eager to play.
Marina walked into the cave to where the Espeon slept.

Felix awoke to the restless cheers and squeals of the younger Vaporeon. He growled and put his paws over his ears, trying to block out the noise. He hadn’t slept to well that night, and now he was having troubles waking up.
“Ugh” He said, opening his eyes and blinking rapidly, adjusting to the blinding light outside the hut.

“Urgh…” He pushed his head under the straw, but the light was still seeping through, and the straw only tickled his nose.
He got up and stretched his tail out behind him. Yawning, his fangs shining in the light. He shook the straw off his face and walked out, shutting his eyes tightly as the light seared his pupils.
Slowly he adjusted. He looked forth to see the majority of hunter Vaporeon awaking, going out in search of berries.

The Soldiers took to their posts, the Mothers would watch the children, some even taking turns to look after a group.
The Leader, Marina, was going to the cave again. She must be waking the Espeon, they were set to leave soon after all.

Lightning growled and ducked down low, the Rapidash was grazing in the distance, just on the edges of the forest. She looked cautious, no wonder. Those flames on it’s back could easily set the whole area alight.
She bent down close to the ground, like a lioness ready to pounce, she was ready to take it down…until the lion came along.

Ace bounded in, purposely using a Roar attack to scare it off.

The Rapidash perked up immediately, running off in a fright.
“No!” Light shouted, running after the flaming horse. She was catching up with the speeding Rapidash, both of them nearly too fast to see.
She leapt up and dug her claws into it’s shoulders, clamping her fangs into it’s neck.

The Rapidash reared and screamed in pain, trying to shake her off.
“Light! Let go”
Lightning growled as he fangs began to spark.
“Light! Let it go!”

Light gasped as she was thrown off. The Rapidash used bounce, and she just couldn’t hang on. She fell far down into the ground, badly hurting herself. She laid on her side motionless.
“Light!” Ace ran across the field to the Jolteon. “Light?” He nudged his head into her back, she wasn’t moving.
“Light? Light!”

She didn’t react. Her breathing was slight and she was unconscious.

He sniffed, his eyes watering. He laid behind her and put his head under hers. “…Why don’t you ever listen?”
He said, his words drowned out by his tears.

…It got away…

Celestina was already up when Marina arrived to get her.

She rolled out of the straw bed, stretching after a good night of sleep. She couldn’t remember the last time she felt so wonderful and awake.

She wasn’t used to the early times for the clan either. It certainly surprised her, that was for sure. Then again, she was already on the road by now.

When Marina arrived, she gulped down the last Sirus berry from her bag. (She has a purse - like bag that hangs around her body, she scavenges often, and whatever she get she places her.)

“Ready to go?”

“Yes” Said Marina. “I shall be escorting you” She turned around and walked out of the cave, her delicate footsteps making a few ticks as she tapped the few loose stones. “Follow me if you will” She said, turning back to look at Celestina.

Marina walked out towards the forest. Her tail swishing with each step.
She walked to the edge of the forest, waiting for the Espeon.
If memory serves, it’s towards the south…let’s just hope the weather doesn’t turns for the worse.

Light growled, baring her fangs. She stood herself up, startling the other Jolteon.
“W-what?” She said, spotting the Jolteon’s wet eyes. He had been crying obviously…

“You fell off” He said, trying to hide the fact he was crying, faking a yawn.

“hmm…” She growled, giving him a stern look. “…It got away you mean…”
“Urh, yeah”
“…I can’t stand for failure, Get up!” She snapped, running off towards the forest.
“Wait!” He shouted, running after her.

Celestina nodded as she followed behind Marina, the clan leader. She looked up to the sky while walking. It was clear, for now atleast.

Celestina looked around to the Clan. She smiled as she watched the mothers wake their children. Maybe one day she would have a family, though she would doubt it. She didn’t really want to go to any of the Clans, but she had to…

She couldn’t describe this feeling…she felt as though danger was about to unravel here, in reality.

“Marina!”
Felix was seen bounding around the lake towards her. He came to a crash stop, tripping over his feet and very nearly falling into the clan leader.

“Whats wrong Felix?” She said, waiting for him to gather his breath.
“P-Please can I come” He said, forcing his words out, panting harshly after. “Something doesn’t feel right”
Marina turned back to the lake, feeling something similar also…the lake was abnormally still.
“…I see no harm in it” She looked into the forest for a few seconds before walking on towards the cliffs. It was some walk from here, by time they reach the Espeon den it would be late night…but that included rest stops and a short delay time…but then again, anything can happen…right?

Light stealthily slid through the forest grass, like a lioness ready to pounce, she lowered her back and laid to the floor. The Mothim was licking honey right off the bark, oblivious to the malevolent Jolteon ready behind him.

There was rustling behind her, luckily the Mothim wasn’t alerted…well, luckily for Ace.
Behind Light was the male Jolteon, trying to follow her, but purposely arching his back and tail high to try and scare it off if the bug type managed to turn around.

Light turned and shot him a look, mentally saying : ‘‘you better not mess this up for me’’.
She turned back and waited, waited for the right time to strike…

Celestina peered over to the Vapereon, who had just recently joined their now little group. She heard Marina refer to the Vapereon as “Felix.” She noticed he looked unerved.

“Hi there. I’m Celestina.” She offered him a warm smile, maybe it would help ease his anxiety, even if slightly. “What is your name?”

“Felix”
His voice was quiet and fatigue could be determined by his labored breathing.

“…Well, we best get a move on” Marina said looking at the clear blue sky, a single ominous cloud lingering in the distance.

After learning Felix’s name, Celestina became quiet. She didn’t want to burden Marina or Felix anymore. She could tell that Marina kept looking up the sky, she slightly wondered why. Finally, she just decided to ask her instead of constantly wondering.

“Marina, is there something wrong?”

“A wind is coming” Marina said, looking straight ahead, but her eyes ended up walking off to look at the sky on their own accord.

Verona laughed as she ran across the base of the volcano, this time she was chasing Drake…for a different reason…

“Get back here you coward!!”
“WAAH LEAVE ME ALONE!” Drake sprinted across the rock and loose ledges. “I didn’t mean it! I swear!”
Vernona growled, blowing the loose tufts of fur which stood up from her neck, tickling her nose.

Drake lunged for Verona’s neck in a playful bite. Verona jumped back and laughed, batting him on the side of the face.
“VERONA!” Yelled one of the tribe women.
Verona turned around to see her mother. “Mo-GAH!”

Drake yelled as he tripped, crashing into Verona. In his panic he extracted his claws…accidentally slicing at Vernoa’s neck fur…

…Lesson learned.
