Honchkrow, with a base speed of 71 it does not outspeed many common threats. Its attack stat, 125, beats Scrafty with 90, and Krookodile, with 117. Its Pre-Evolution, Murkrow, is a user of Whirlwind/Copycat which is abusable with entry hazards.

This Pokemon was the only pokemon in the span of competitive battling to drop from OU to NU from the transition of 5th gen to 6th gen. It also does not share an ability with another non-legendary pokemon.
