/time command

Hey! I think a /time command that would tell if its Dawn-Day-Dusk-Night would be a very great addition!
I know we can see it when we log on, but it kinda gets annoying relogging just for that. I think it would be a simple, yet usefull command to introduce, and would stop people from asking what time it is all the… time. Haha.

I think there’s an NPC in Delite Plaza named Dave who will tell you the time. ovo;;

I support of this, but you could always close out the game and open it back up. It tells you the time when you log in.

if you reread the first post, he stayed that it was annoying to do so, and it is.
I would love to have this implemented. :3

You make a fair point with the /time command. It may make game-play easier, but I personally wouldn’t like such a thing, aha. The various times give a different tint to the in-game screen. Apart from that, I’m sure you do roam around the Exbel town fairly often, yes? You could always make a trip to the Delite Plaza and go into the time room. The NPCs there represent times (Dustin; Murkrow, Dawn; Dawn and so on) it won’t take that much time. You could even ask other players (Some players have a record of what time it is) or staff. There’s even a message that shows what time it is, when you log in (Yes, just noticed you /did/ already mention this, but I’m just reinforcing here.) It basically does have a lot of alternatives.

Apart from that, I’m sure one of the many reasons you’re asking for this is because you wish to obtain pokemon that are time-specific? In such a case, I honestly believe the trip is worth it. I think with this perspective, those 5 seconds of running to the Delite Plaza make me one step closer to my valued pokemon / item. Moreover, it does add a rather interesting concept to the game as a whole. So yeah, I’m not so keen in getting such a command, aha. But thank you for the effort of writing this suggestion.

Well, some people happen to be in a dungeon when time changes, so it’d be convenient for them as well? Say you’re in Tanren Mansion just training, and it goes night suddenly but you aren’t sure, and you might wanna try for Rotom while you’re there? (Note: I don’t actually know if Rotom is night-only)

Regardless, I stand neutral, because Dave needs more friends but it would cut back on people attacking global with “What time is it?”

I like the suggestion . It would be very helpfull.

Also there is npc in grassroot town that tell u the time now . But its still annoying to go all the way to there everytime u need to know the time xD.

I’ve stated my mind quite clearly on this topic, so I won’t restate it again. I’ll just say this.

Why would one bother with the time room if there was simply a /time command, you may ask? It’s just that. A /time command can be used anywhere at any time, while on the flipside you’d have to trek all the way over to the plaza (Which may not even be an option at times.) to see the time, or log out and back in. Logging out and logging back in can cause possible troubles, such as in a dungeon and/or in a dungeon with friends. Lets say you log out, but oh no! You log back on to see? The pokemon you were using is now fainted. Good show my friend, good show (Also why is that not fixed yet JS.). You may log out and log back in to find, oh no! One of your friends died. Hooray. A thing such as the /time command would make the time room, while actually somewhat nice (In the aesthetic way.), obsolete.

The thing is, the plaza is an impractical waste of time when we could have an easier and much more usable alternative. So let me ask you just a question.

Would you still walk to the plaza"s time room if there were a /time command? Would you yourself make use of the time command, and if so, would you make use of it more than the time room or the other alternatives?
