The only problem that I see with this game is that people cannot trade Pokemon. If you can actually trade please correct me and tell me how. I think that this would be a great way to get that Pokemon that you have spent hours trying to get, from a person that doesn’t want it.
Well, this MMO is based on the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. You cannot trade Pokemon in those games, and this MMO is supposed to be as close to the real thing as possible.
Would be abused easily & Trading away teammates? What?

You’re going to have a potentially overpowered Pokemon at the beginning.
With which you’ll basically skip the first few dungeons with. No fun in that! -
Defeats the point of some dungeons.
Trading over Pokemon with HMs? No need for [name] dungeon! Trading over rare Pokemon? No need for [name] too! -
You aren’t meant to skip through half the game.
Like how the main Pokemon games have badges with Traded Pokemon level restrictions. They don’t want you to use a level 100 Rayquaza at the first Gym.
Not to mention the idea of trading isn’t very logical and it doesn’t make sense in a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon setting.
People only want it so that trading Pokemon is available is so that they can get something they want, and it’s just pure selfish. Not to mention that someone can trade you a high leveled Pokemon, which means skipping through probably half of the dungeons.
Pokemon Mystery Universe is also a PMD MMO, and since when could you trade in PMD? PMU isn’t trying to copy all of PMD, but trading… just, no. People who want this are just trying to get something, for their selfish needs.
To be honest this a really cool idea, and ideally it would be a great addition. In the end though there would be a few too many problems for it to be worth it. Sorry, I know it’s not always the most fun part but level grinding and hunting dungeons for recruits are just part of the game, it wouldn’t really be PMD without it.
May I suggest a different idea for trading then, when you trade, you only can get the same level of a pokemon that you put in. for example, Player A trades a level 20 aron for Player B’s lvl 60 golbat, Player A gets a Level 20 zubat, Player B gets a level 60 aron. you could also make it so the moves it had learned reset so they cant have hms, or overpower moves and tms
It would still cause quite a bit of trouble. What if someone traded a Salamence to a new user? That in itself is quite overpowered. Also, what if you make a trade that you regret and want to trade back? That means all of your Pokémon moves that you had would be nullified.
Trading Pokémon will never catch on. It’s a main game thing, not a PMD thing.
Sorry to shoot the idea down, but it just would cause quite a bit of trouble to get such good Pokémon early game.

You can actually get a bagon at like level 15 if
- good party
- have 3 full slots of rev seeds
But getting salamence is another thing.

I was just using Salamence as an example. You see, Salamence has a good starting moveset and has some great stats. I just don’t think that trading Pokémon would be a good idea, so I used an OP Pokémon for a clear-cut example of how bad trading Pokémon would be. :/
It’s a nice suggestion but due to how easily the system could be abused I doubt it’ll be implemented. Anything else I have to say has been said by everyone else.
But if this was implemented, wouldn’t it be possible to trade over a high levelled Pokemon that you had got bored of for your friend’s Pokemon that you wanted and instantly have it at a higher level?

Yes that would happen, but I don’t think anyone would train a Pokemon that they disliked, you should try to win with your favourites

First, the recruit admires YOU, not anyone else. If you were to trade that recruit away, it"ll ruin the whole plot of the joining.
Second, as the other players have stated, it"ll get abused. Who knows, it could end up glitching and will eventually give away your whole assembly
Thirdly, it is indeed a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon based MMO. You can"t trade away the Pokemon you have.
Lastly, if you don"t like the Pokemon you have, releasing it or/and leaving it to rot in the assembly would be your only choices.

Key word, “should”. However there are many situations that would arise where it would be easier for the person to trade their stronger Pokemon for the one they preferred. Some examples being:
-Recruiting a Pokemon at a higher level dungeon (eg. Mt. Barr which gives level 40+ recruits) and trading it for a Pokemon of a lower level.
-Training a Pokemon that has higher stats or a better moveset than the one you want and once it’s at a high level trading them both so that you get the Pokemon you want at a higher level with less effort.
Trading pokemon, for PMU, is a ridiculous idea. Somebody could get Larvitar on their first day of playing because “somebody may have not wanted their Larvitar.” This idea just encourages laziness. It would also allow somebody to skip a dungeon, and get the pokemon they want. Eventually ALL the pokemon will be released, whether they have been in an event or not, all the pokemon (excluding legendaries) will be in a permanent dungeon. Now, if you really want a certain pokemon so bad, you will give up your time to get said pokemon instead of asking to trade. I also think many problems could arise from this, because people could be lying. You could trade, lets say a rare pokemon, like Trapinch for something you really want. In my case, I really want a Cacturne. If I traded my Vibrava for a Cacturne, what would I do if I get a Magikarp in return? You wouldn"t know what the other person is trading until you"ve accepted, since /trade wouldn"t work for pokemon. I completely disagree with this suggestion.
Even IF this is implemented (which I highly doubt), it does promote laziness, as blood said. So if (IF) it’s implemented, it’d make sense for dragging to be re-implemented, and pick up and honey gather to be un-nerfed (these were nerfed because they promoted laziness). Just some food for thought.
