History: Karl was raised in the Unova day care by his mother and her Floatzel. At age 7, he was aloud to go out and play with the Pokemon being raised at the time, his personal favourite being a trainer named Hilda’s Darmaitan.
When he was 11, he got is very first Pokemon, a Scraggy which he named Karstelia, he and Karstelia traveled Unova, Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh and Hoenn together, collecting many Pokemon.
One day, as they were travelling home, Karstellia grew ill, and passed away. Depressed, Karl released all his Pokemon, and didn’t collect a single one for over 6 years. He is 19 now, and decided he’d give it another shot in the Urhus region.

You cannot have a real region pokemon as a part of your main team, and you also cannot have a real region pokemon as a first form, even if it evolves. You cannot keep your Sweetzel as a buizel, if you want to use Sweetzel, you would have to keep it as a Sweetzel
