-> Update 8/28/2024
- Fixed some stuff:
- The “Other Windows/Window” layer In
General/Background/gui.psd
was the correct size but Incorrectly placed vertically by +2 pixels or so - The team panel layer In
Game Window/gui.psd
was Incorrectly sized vertically by +1 pixel
- The “Other Windows/Window” layer In
- Added text in
Loading Bar/gui.psd
so you can easily see how It looks against the background
Update 6/3/2024
- Removed the unused stuff In
General/Windows
so It’s not confusing - Added a folder for “other” windows like Character Select In the
General/Background
gui.psd
. This Is useful when you want those windows to look “transparent” which I often do - Updated the download link…again
Update 4/23/2024
There was a minor teeny tiny mistake on the main background psd/png. I also updated the download link
Happy skinning as usual
There’s two skin template posts here, but both of them have Inaccuracies and I always had to make some adjustments before using them ( they’re outdated now anyways due to the email update ), so I made my own templates. This Includes .psd
files and the static Images to replace, and other things I’ve noted about how the Images work while making these templates
Window previews:
Notes:
- The character select, delete account, and new account windows can actually be bigger or smaller than they are. It all depends on the size of the Image. If you make It too small, the back to menu buttons won’t be visible
- Additionally these windows’ Images always get cut off at the bottom by 20 pixels. This Is Indicated by the dark grey on the templates
- Buttons don’t have a definitive size. Like the windows mentioned above, the size of them can be changed. The position of the buttons start at the top left corner, so their height cannot be Increased upward nor can their width be Increased to the right. For the templates I just used an average size
- The “-h” button Images are simply overlaid on top, rather than switching Images
- You can also add custom music. I’ve only ever done this with
Title.ogg
but If you make a/Music
folder In the skin and add a track with the same name as an existing one, It actually gets overwritten. This may work with sound effects but I haven’t bothered to try
