A Poem That I Made Off the Top of My Head...

NOTE: I made this up while listening to the PMD: Explorers of Sky soundtrack, Defend Globe, so you might want to listen to that.

An old friend that you see after such a long time…
Her brown hair is longer now… The green eyes have a sad look…
They see you and light up…
She hugs you…
You hug her back.
The little boy joins the hug.
Your rival does too. So does the boy’s rival.
You rejoice in your little group hug.
You’re back. From Mount Silver. From the cold…
Back home…
In Pallet Town…
With all your video games, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Megaman Battle Network…
And all the others…
Finally, at peace.
Sitting on your bed, the boy, his rival, and your friends dig around your video games and toys…
Your rival turns the television on.
There’s a boy on TV, the star of the show you used to watch…
The show that depicted an adventure like the one you had dreamed of going on…
…And you finally went on that adventure.
Your dream has been fulfilled…
With many more friends…
The child with the Rattata, the boy who came to challenge you, the girl with brown hair, your rival…
The boy’s rival…
…Even the gym leaders. Even your Pokemon.
Or rather, especially your Pokemon.
It’s been three years…
Three long, hard years…
…But you’re back after a long time.
Finally home.

I should explain this poem… “You” refers to Pokemon Trainer Red. The girl with brown hair and green eyes is Leaf… The boy is Gold, and the rivals should be obvious.
Anyway, this is the scene I imagine after you beat Trainer Red for the third time or whatever… I’ve only beaten him one time, but my neighbor has beaten Red thrice. He says after the third time you can’t battle Red again. So I thought maybe…You finally persuaded Red to come back home…
…I love this poem. It’s the best one I’ve ever done, I think. Constructive Critiscm is asked for!
:joy:
Yes, I referenced Youngster Joey. ._.;

That’s a neat little interpretation I like to think that Red has a life and friends too, I really enjoyed your pome.

Thank you very much! :joy: I’m glad that someone liked it.
