[i]A strange world when the ideas of magic and alchemy have existed since the beginning of time, this world called “Lucis”, the opposite, or is it? There is yet another world, Earth in which has just begun to understand these exotic fields. In between the worlds, is a rip, that connects the worlds through a tunnel, or a wormhole, sometimes referred to as the “Black Gale”. People use this regularly to travel between the two worlds to study, ship or receive items, and transport interested tourists. Of course, as innocent as it sounds, issues are being to appear slowly. Monsters that existed in the other world have begun to attack Earth. However, because of this, evolution of mankind has been taking place within the past years. Children with the potential to unleash powerful magic spells and adapt to the other world. Children like so have been born on each side of the world.

Between the ascendant of monsters, a once thriving school once existed. An academy to be precise. The students, staff, and faculty were like the “Gatekeepers” between the worlds. The school rediscovered several years later has decided to send out letters to potential students to keep watch over the two worlds. The school, existing in the center of the two worlds now is being reborn![/i]

This is where you come in. After your thirteenth birthday or later, you are eligible to receive a license to use spells, weapons embedded with magic, alchemy, anything that Lucis or Earth has to offer. Enter through this exciting realm!

You and many others have been directly chosen to come study at our academy for the over talented! If you accept, you will become a “Gatekeeper”, a protector of the two worlds. The question is…“Are you up to it?”

You will arrive to the academy early Sunday / Solday around 6:00 A.M for a quick assembly and then a welcoming banquet.

Our on campus Shopping Mall is top notch with selling ingredients for potions, a pet store, an electronic store, multiple clothing and robes stores, a forge, and many shops for your needs. Money can be sent from home, earned from answering questions or doing well on an exam, or by getting hired on one of the many jobs on campus.

Our academy has astounding beauty as the Weather is controlled by mages, the large brick building is designed with massive amounts of space and the landscape is absolutely brilliant with alchemy supplies growing all around. There will be a lake open for fishing and all times.

All students will be receiving a “Trailed Map” a holographic map created by futuristic mage technology in which if they were to insert a name they will be able to track their friends at all times.

Appearance: A dashing youngm an, he’s slim, and has a decent amount of muscle and strength. He had a face like any other, and he tries to swoo women with his light blue eyes, they always seem to be changing color though, depending on his mood. He’s at a normal height, like any other. He’s commonly wearing jeans and a Hollister or an Areopostale jacket. He likes to have headphones and his iPod Touch on hand.
Species: Hybrid Dragon, His ancestry had a dragon in it at one point. When he gets angry, or when he needs it, you can see dragon-like features emerging, he has a strong bond to be with his dragon, since they are somewhat related.
Class: Dragon Rider
Weapon: Dual Swords, he carries a small pistol in his jacket his father gave him, he has no idea how to use it. It’s some sort of magic gun.

World: Earth

Pet: Dragon, still very small, but growing fast, he can’t ride him yet. The dragon had a sleek, wedgy face, with a more European style body. Wings, and spikes along his back. His scales are a light, yet somewhat deep, blue. The dragon is playful, and will help out anyone the young dragon can. He’s male, and can talk with his owner through physic-like powers. Telepathy. The dragon can’t use magic, or breath fire yet, but he’s trying to learn as fast as he can.

Biography / Background Story: As a young boy, Kemerd found himself with his father, in a large city. Kemerd often was alone, for his father was at work, researching about new things for magic-kind he called it. He was left to raise himself, and was often beat up by older boys, bullied at a young age, he didn’t know of his powers. He continued to grow, and was bullied still at age 11, he found an older man one day. The man saved him from a group of bullies, and saw his worries. The man trained Kemerd in the arts of men. He thought him how to defend himself, and how to use swords. He stayed with the man till he was 14, then the man disappeared. Kemerd was crestfallen, and he searched all over for his lost master. His master had tought him everything! He was more of a father than that man who came home every year or two. Left alone, Kemerd fended for himself. One day, his father came back. He told the young man he was leaving, and he would be back in a month. Kemerd waited. His father never came back. He was alone in this world, left without a purpose. One day, walking in a park, reading a book about magic. he read an article about dragons… He read the article, and as he did, a love for them formed in his mind. Then he felt a tug. Not a physical one, but a mental one. Kemerd… It said, calling him out. Kemerd was led to a pond. And then with a surprise, he was grasped by a great energy, and he was pulled in. Kemerd found an gem on the bottom of the lake, and he was forced to pulled it out. He brought it home, oblivious to what it really was. It hatched days later. Kemerd wandered after that, traveling the land. One day, he got this letter, he wrote back, and was transfered into this new school.

Personality: Kemerd’s pretty laid back, sometimes flirty, but serious when he needs to be. Sometimes clumsy, you can always count on him to do something, for he’ll stop at nothing to get it done. He’ll even sacrifice himself for friends, no matter the cost. He often forgets to do homework, and loves to crack jokes, and to make people smile, even if it involves hurting or embarrassing himself.

Kemerd often has quick speed, and he naturally loves flying, for he is part dragon, later on, he sprouts wings. His skin looks slightly scaly, and his eyes lean backwards, with a reptile-like cornia when he is in a serious fight, giving him enchanced abilities due to his heritage. He has a natural accommodation with fire. He can talk to reptiles and get their general mood, and what they want.

Biography / Background Story:

Engeli was born with ‘deformities’; no one knows how, but no one cares. At the hospital, she had tiny horns poking out of her skull. The mother thought it was just some strange deformity would just pass. Her father adored them, and thought they were beautiful.

When she turned three years old, they started to grow. They would poke out of her silver stained hair. Her parent’s hair were brown, they never understood.

“Maybe it’s just a platinum blonde. Most kids have blonde when they’re born,” Engeli’s mother shook her head in disgrace.

But, when the horns began to curl through her toddlership, her mother paced anxiously, wondering what was wrong with her child. She couldn’t stand it. They… They were like rams! She would brush the little girl’s hair, as an attempt to see what was wrong with her flesh and blood child. Then the devious mother decided, she couldn’t go to preschool like… that. She’d be disgraced by her old friends.

That poor selfish mother had to make sure she wouldn’t be disgraced by her friends.

The father praised the child, unlike the mother. He would adorn her with kisses and hugs. Telling Engeli she was perfect. The other children aren’t as special and great as she was. He would flourish her with gifts, dolls, batons, fun little things little girls do. She loved him her as much as her little heart could hold love. He loved her just as the same as Engeli did.

The mother… The mother was the opposite. The mother was absorbed with herself. Married for money, gets surgeries on herself constantly. Botox, plastic surgery. The doctor was her best friend. She loved him more than she loved her family. She wanted a model of a daughter, not a… deformity! She would enter the little 3 year old’s room, give her the food, then leave. Just leave. Engeli envied her attention. She tried, and tried for an ounce of her love compared to her father’s.

She missed him during the day. She stared out her window. She played with her dolls sometimes to wait for the lawyer of a dad to come home. He worked for almost 12 hours a day; 7:00 to 6:40.

Years passed. Fights outbroke. She was 5 years old.

“Katherine, don’t start this again…,” he whined with a shake in his voice. Engeli could hear them through the floor. As usual. It was always this… Always fighting.

“Bartholomew, you don’t understand…,” she started to cry for attention, her usual trick.

“Yes! I do understand! You’re just using me, Katherine!” he screamed, but then huffed. “…We have to stay quiet… Engeli is no idiot,”

“She’s five years old, honey… And, please. Don’t yell at me like that. ever. again,” she smirked knowing he was a wimp, and wouldn’t do anything to her. “I am having another child, honey. Maybe this one will turn out normal,” she had a blank stare into his eyes, staring for a reaction. A, a, sick terrible, defeated reaction. She was toying with him.

He grabbed her wrist and wrinkled his brow. “My dear Kath-er-rine, don’t toy with me. Are you have another child? Is this revenge?” he was furious.

“Oh my dear husband, it’s no revenge seeking. I just wanted the joy of having another child,” she grinned.

“You little rat… What if she’s not normal?” and the conversation trailed off. Engeli didn’t understand. She laid there, waiting for daddy. He never came back in.

Dawned came. She slept on her tear-soaked, white, turned a light gray floor. Bart came in smiling. “Hows my dearest daughter?” Her butterfly eyelashes fluttered open. “Daddy! Daddy! You’we hewe!” her eyes gleamed. He motioned over to the canopy bed, pushing the pink curtains over. He motioned Engeli over, to sit next him. The feather bed had a mark where he patted. “Dearie… We’re having another baby! You’ll have a little brother or sister! Aren’t you so glad…?” His beautiful hazel eyes turned dim with regret and sorrow. His hands shook a tiny bit when he embraced her into a hug.

“I heawrd you and mama yelling at eachowther,” her little kid talk made him chuckle for a second, until the sentence ended. He was put into shock. His eyes were turned black. “My dear. I love you very much, and your mother very much,” he said.

“Your mother loves you too, don’t doubt it,” he added very flatly.

Engeli turned her head like a puppy. She didn’t understand. “Mama is vewy mean to me,” Engeli cried with a wank in her voice. “Shhh… It’s okay,” he jerked his head towards the door. Mama scowled at the door.

“Hi Mama!” Engeli called.

Bart stared into her soul with his cold eyes.

“H-Hello Engeli… I, um… Love you…,” she said with humongous disbelief in her voice.

Nine months passed. A healthy baby girl was born; no horns. Her name was Angelica. Angelica was all Kathy wanted; brown sleek hair, blue eyes, perfect proportions… Everyone knew she would be a model. Engeli wasn’t allowed at the doctors. She was a freak. She began to notice her feet turned to hoofs. She wouldn’t turn to a ram, would she?

Daddy forgot about her it seemed… The door was locked… Food was brought to her. She began to do gymnastics and art in her room over the years. She was extremely flexible and knew how to work a baton. Her art was mediocre, but strived to be better.

One day. Engeli was 10, Angelica was 5, and when children are at a young age they’re curious. When Katherine and Bart (Mother and Father) were gone, Angie grabbed the key to the ‘off-limits’ room. She unlocked the door and saw Engeli doing her routine. “Hway! Who are you?!” Angie screamed.

“You’re the new baby, huh?” Engeli mumbled. Engeli surveyed her; beautiful just as Daddy said. Those once a week visits.

“I’m your sister, silly,” Engeli’s hair had grown long and sleek. Still a silver colour. The horns curled around her ears, and her hoofs showed out. She normally wore boots, but not during her routine. “Now then. Whats your name? Angel? That’s what Daddy calls you, right?” She had an ounce of spite in her voice. She envied the little girl. She was dressed in silk clothing. So unnecessary.

“Are you a goat?”

Engeli’s lip quivered. “Ram… and you better leave little girl before I get angry. Raaams get angry quickly,” she yelled. Angie smiled and ran in and hugged her sister. “Big sister! Big sister!” a small smile appeared on Engeli’s face. Someone she said she’d hate, she loves.

Soon, Angie visited the lonely ram everyday. She was fascinated with her. Angie loved her big sister. Engeli loved her too.

When Engeli was 13, Angie 8, mother came home early. Too early.

“Angie? Angel?” She called out with more gifts. Angelica couldn’t hear over the laughter they were sharing together. Engeli never met another human being other than her sister and her parents. She never laughed this much in forever, ever since she was five years old. She missed her father; mother was probably keeping him captive. Everything she knew earlier was just a lie. She was so oblivious… so stupid…

The mother panicked furiously, pacing from room to room. Until she ended at an open room filled with a creature and a little girl.

“Why you little devil!” Katherine screamed at the top of her lungs. She picked up Angelica swiftly and ran out. “Did you talk to it? She’s our pet” she added flatly at the end.

Angelica cried out “She’s no pet, she my sissy!” she tossed and turned out of her arms and pounded on her mama. “Why did you hide her from me!?” Engeli cried and opened the window, she always thought was to be locked. She kept repeating ‘it’s my fault, it’s my fault’ she screamed at the top of her lungs through the locked door,

“MOTHER, or KATHERINE I SHOULD SAY. You’re no mother to ME. I’m just your worthless PET, or CREATURE. Get me out of here, you crazy COOT! Or I’ll show the world ME and trash you! Because that’ll hurt you like you hurt me!” Engeli cried.

She stuck her head out of the window and yelled “Hello! Look outside on 1234 MAPLE STREET! See the part-ram freak!” Engeli screamed.

Furiously, the mother fiddled with the handle of the door pulling out the golden key and jammed it in. She stomped her way to Engeli and smiled.

“Oh, my daughter. I’m so sorry…” she lied.

“Don’t lie to me. You have nothing on me. I can ruin you, mother,” Engeli wasn’t afraid anymore. She grabbed her sister and hugged her. “Now leave me alone,” Engeli smirked.

Katherine sunk down to the corner of the room and wept. She was sincerely sorry.

“See these mother?” she pointed to her ‘flaws’ “These are my PERFECTIONS,” she screamed.

The years passed. She was 17. A letter came into the door and it was addressed for Engeli. She read it over.

“A formal education…,” she cried. And she was off.

Personality: She use to be quite timid. But, soon she grew and won’t take anything from anybody. She is usually quite cheerful. Although quite insecure, she tries to pretend she doesn’t care at all what people think. Engeli is awkward, due to little communication. All in all, she is quite smart due to having many encyclopedias in her long days of nothing.

Biography / Background Story: He was born a simple child, faced with an average life for so long that was, His mother slowly began to become critically ill, and his father simply couldn’t deal with the burden of taking care of both a disabled woman and a small child, he vowed his love to both Coza and his mother before he left.

Coza was then forced to become his mother’s carer he always dreamt of hopefully being the one to cure his mothers illness and allow her to regain her former happiness, this dream sharply changed at the age of 12, when his mother to a major turn for the worse and ended up bed-bound, piratically unable to move.

His father came back on that fateful night, that horrific night…Coza awoke due to not being able to sleep through sheer worrying for his mother, he slowly opened the door to his mothers room to see his father at the window about to jump out. “DAD!” He bellowed. His father turning back, staring at him with cold harsh and evil red eyes. Pulling out a pistol, he pointed it towards Coza.

At that instant, Coza’s movement stopped, he couldn’t even breath for fear of his own life. His father then closes his eyes, letting out a small sigh and turned back away. “See you around, kiddo” He spoke with a faint sence of sadness in his voice before dropping out of the window.

Coza swiftly ran over to his mother to check up on her…her skin cold and pale, her eyes lifeless. Coza pulled the covers off her to reveal several gun holes in her stomach and chest. Coza stepped back and fell on the floor, tears rushed down his face. “M…Ma…how…” It dawned on him that it was his father…

“Cozuka, be a strong boy for me okay? I’ll always love you and never forget what you’ve done for me, never shed a tear for no man nor woman, think you can do that for me?” Was the last words she spoke to him, before he placed her in her now blood soaked bed. These words echo’d through his mind constantly, only causing him to cry further.

4 Years later his invitation arrived from the Academy Of The Arcane Artes arrived at his door. With a confident attitude he decided to take up the offer, with no regrets, he wanted to help the world with all his heart, no matter how much he despised and wanted revenge on his father, he seeks nothing but peace.

Biography / Background History:

Seth was born eighteen years again in one of the few villages remaining which held refuge for witches. This did not however, last very long.

The village was attacked when Seth was only six years old and was taken to shelter by his older brother, who was only nine years of age. During it, the two got separated and Seth had fallen down a hill where he was knocked out and saved by a kitsune spirit.

When he came to, Seth was in a dark cave far off from humans. The spirit called herself Madam Kitsune and would be the future guardian spirit to a girl known as Alice. She had promised to watch over the young boy while she had waited for her own Master to summon her. Madam Kitsune was a brilliant spirit because she could tell the danger living inside the young boy.

Over the next few years, Seth would be protected by Madam Kitsune until the age of fifteen. He would then be bothered by lost travelers who seeked fortune. During the time, Madam Kitsune had disappeared to an unknown location.

When a few travelers, Marcus, April, Blu, Sinclaire, and Cecilia had asked him for guidance, he had no idea what they asked for. Before he was able to ask them, a group of witch hunters and Radiant Knights appeared on the spot, causing all of them to flee.

Now on the run with new people, Seth was forced to join sides with them and a few others during it. He spoke with Marcus" cat, Blu through telepathy for a majority of the trip until they were joined by two others: Soul and Rival. Then, by two more: Winter and Incendes.

Soon, the group began to travel together. During it, they had found a small village hidden behind a waterfall. The village was hostile towards them, but later gained trust from them after they chased off a group of witch hunters.

The group revealed that they were witches, and that Seth was always welcomed. No one but Seth and Madam Kitsune (who had returned) knew what they were talking about.

Before leaving the town, Seth ran into a strangely familiar blonde haired girl and was overwhelmed with memories, causing him to pass out from a migraine. When he had awoken, he had asked Madam Kitsune about his memories, and she had lied to him and told him that she knew nothing.

Later, the group later made another stop where they discovered an ancient relic that Winter and her brother had showed interest in. When entering the stone pedestal, Seth was possessed by a witch from many ages ago. The witch gave them a message: “The one in black is your enemy”.

When Seth came to, he openly admitted that he was a witch, but tried to hide it because all of them were human. Upon welcoming his witchkin, he had unlocked his own guardian spirit, a cat known as Chex. (Guardian Spirits are based upon a witch"s personality, Seth for example, hates cats but has a deep friendship with Blu.) Winter and Incendes admittedly told the group that they were from the future where a monarch known as “Raizo” controlled the country and had come back in time to prevent Raizo and the “Soul Less Project” in which Seth was part of.

Much later, the group had staged an attack on the temple of the Radiant Knights in attempt to recover clues. Seth was met by his old mentor whom was now part of the Radiant Knights and was known by the name of “Daughter”. He is nearly knocked out when Winter enters and finishes off Daughter.

Winter explains that Seth is controlled by another soul in the future and it is Daughter who forces him to be part of the project, her interference has changed it. He then thanks her and they continue further into the temple.

When Soul uncovers an old fragment on the wall, Seth begins having violent flashbacks of a dark presence destroying a river village where the Stone Of Fire is located. He collaspes but immediately gets back up and lies that he is fine.

When they leave the temple, they are surrounded by a group of Radiant Knights controlled by Seth"s rival, Captain Percy Zeperx. Before they were able to attack, Percy told that they had more important things to do, and let them off with a “warning”.

Winter had then discovered that the next relic was inside the waterfall village. They entered again, welcomed warmly by the villagers. They later got permission to enter the city"s temple, and April discovered there was a hidden switch in which led to a new dungeon.

Once entering the alter of the temple, April turned to face the group with her guns ready, and explained that she had lied to them the whole time so that she could capture the vessel of Raizo, who was Marcus. Marcus was artifical life specifically made for Raizo.

Seth, Sinclaire and Blu had already discovered April"s conspiracy due to April “accidentally” crashing their ship, causing Sinclaire to lose all feeling in his hand, making it unable for him to use his hand. When Sinclaire tried to attack April, he lost grip of his sword and was pushed out of the way by Seth who took a bullet for Sinclaire instead.

Blu preformed a Blitz on April, almost knocking her out. She was later reinforced by Radiant Knights and stole away Marcus. On her escape, she created a magic spell that let her collapse the ruins. Everyone was knocked out and saved by a mysteriously bright light which teleported them outside.

They were all awoken sometime later by the young blonde haired girl that Seth had noticed. She healed Sinclaire"s hand, causing him to regain feeling and then where Seth got shot. She later revealed that she felt that she knew Seth, and Seth admitted that he knew her too.

The villagers got angry for April and the Radiant Knights for destroying the temple, and asked the group to hunt them down. Sinclaire, angry from them taking Marcus promised to get them back. To Seth"s dismay, the blonde haired girl decided to tag along since she was a superb healer.

Once entering the base, the group got separated. Cecilia, Sinclaire, Soul and Rival staged an attack on Seline, the commandant of the Radiant Knights. Blu and Seth went off on their own as a distraction while Winter and Incendes searched the base for clues. The blonde girl waited on the outside for them.

Seth and Blu were attacked by Daughter and a rifle user known as Alliance. Pretending to be knocked out, the two were carried to the room where Marcus was. Using a Blitz, Madam Kitsune, magic, and Chex, they were easily able to free Marcus and joined up with Cecilia and Sinclaire. Rival and Soul told the group that Seline got away, but had mentioned something about “The Age of Vincent”.

Winter and Incendes found proof that they were going to sacrifice six people that are of angel descend to summon Vincent, an immortal Master of Darkness who was sealed many years ago inside of the “Star of Vincent” a fabled sword.

When they met up with the young girl, she took them back to the village after healing their injuries and told the village people that they had gotten revenge on the temple. April, who had betrayed Seline during a battle, was back with them. She admitted to them that she had found them more important than some immortal being. She told them that they needed to stop them from sacrificing the people on each of the Stones: Fire, Ice, Earth, Wind, Light (Lumos), and Darkness (Fear).

They remained in the village that night when Seth finally asked the blonde girl her name. Her name was Alice, and she was a witch of healing like Seth. She had explained that she was ten years old and had two older brothers she never met and that it was odd for a witch to know both healing and dark magic. She explained that she had spoken to Seth"s guardian spirit during dream.

During the night, the town was attacked by more witch hunters, and were fought off by the team, one of them remarking Seth, calling him “the one in black”. Confused by this, he asked no questions, because he did not recall the experience with his witch ancestor.

Later, they had arrived in the small town in Ain, where Marcus had lived since he was created. They had arrived just as Seline completed the ritual of the Six Stones and summoned Vincent upon the Spire of Despair, where he would await for the “Fated Day”.

Seth felt strangely familiar, another migraine attacked him causing him to collapse. Seline went straight for him, when Percy joined in front and intercepted her attack. “Why do you attack your superior?” She questioned.

“Family"s more important.” Percy replied and he entered battle with Seline, Seth fading in out of conciousiness during the entire time seeing flashbacks of a person in a black clad outfit (who would later become his partner, Zane) causing fire to rain from the sky. He later awoke after Seline was driven off by Percy.

The team explained that he had been out for sometime and told him he was delirious during the entire time yelling to himself to “stop”. When he discovered Percy was with them, he questioned why and he had discovered one of Madam Kitsune"s hidden truths.

Percy had revealed that he was a half brother to Seth and that he had ran with Seth during the war and asked him why he had not remembered their promise. When Seth told him he had no memories of his past, Percy had questioned but got a simple, “I don"t know.” He later discovered that Alice was their younger sister.

Madam Kitsune apologized to Seth, explaining that Alice"s inner spirit asked her guardian spirit to watch over her older brothers until they returned to her. Whenever Madam Kitsune had disappeared, it was to help Percy. Percy explained that he joined the Knights to watch over his brother.

The next day, the group arrived a the Spire of Despair ready to fight Vincent who laid at the top. The group entered the tower to be separated by Vincent"s bailisk who Seth, Winter, Percy and Alice stayed behind to fight.

During the battle, Percy had been slammed against a wall, Winter had been poisoned and Alice had been bitten badly. Seth pulled out from his cloak a black book. He had told them it was the grimoire or “The Book of Death” and that it had granted him power for many years. He used it to reverse the injuries onto himself taking a terrible toll and when the bailisk had attacked them, the attack reversed onto the bailisk and Seth. Seth had smiled when he told his sister that she was the heiress to the book and told her to finish the battle for him.

She took the book and defended Winter and Percy and the bailisk was defeated. Before they were able to reach him, Seth had already stopped breathing. His body disappeared into a crystal and a scythe laid near it.

In tears, Winter and Alice promised to win for him, and Percy awoken to his spirit guardian, a bear known as “Aurora” and Alice accepted Madam Kitsune. The group had met again ontop of the Spire of Despair where the others found out about Seth, and Sinclaire who had been traded for Soul, who they promised to fight for them.

With nothing in their way, they valiantly fought Vincent until they were taken down by a powerful attack. The grimoire, crystal, scythe and Soul"s other side, “Shadow” all reacted and before them appeared a “Soul Less Version of Seth” created by Shadow (Zane). The difference was noticable by how Seth did not speak and had purple eyes instead of cobalt. He fought besides them and fell after they had beaten Vincent (trapping Vincent in the sword once again).

The tower collapsed and Seth"s spirit had teleported them far away during it, causing them to realize it was Seth who saved them in the temple. Seth was laying a few feet over, alive, but passed out. No one questioned how it was possible.

It took several days for the group to recover, and Winter, Incendes and their newest recruit Soul went off to the future to be surprised by a terrible truth: Vincent was not Raizo, but a rival of him. Wanted criminals in the future, they were immediately attacked, saved by Zane, a mysterious assassin who wore a black cloak. He pushed them back to the past.

Three years since they left, Marcus and Cecilia were now engaged and Marcus ran a school with Seth and Rival as mentors. Winter, Soul, and Incendes arrived in time to warn them that Raizo had not died and all of Re"zaam was in trouble.

Each night since they returned there was another murder in the school. No one knew who was doing it, but the group had stayed up one night to catch the murderer. Nothing. The next night, a few of them had fallen asleep and Soul who had gone off to research Vincent and was attacked in the library.

The noise had woken everyone up and caused them to arrive at the library where Soul warned them that there was an assassin there trying to kill them. The group was quickly separated to search around the castle. During it, Rival was trapped into a corner and attacked when Blu preformed a Blitz and the masked assassin ran off. Seth was found at the other end of the hall surrounded by a pool of blood. When he came to, he explained he had no idea what they were talking about and the last thing he remembered was dozing off.

The next night, Soul, Winter and Incendes went off on a mission along with the new recruit, Bianca in order to hunt down Sinclaire"s location since Seline had escaped. No murders had occured that night.

On sucessful return with Sinclaire, the next night the group was attacked once more. The same thing happend as the assassin attacked Soul but was cut off by Alice and Blu. The assassin moved quick with their “Blood Scythe”, a scythe made of blood. The assassin fought with Alice, Blu and Soul before they were smacked from behind with a book by Marcus. They unmasked the assassin to discover who it was: Seth.

Surprised, they demanded answers, by Seth explained that nothing strange had happened to him lately and he would not try to attack Soul. He did tell them about seeing a spire in his dreams, The Spire Of Despair. No one knew how Seth knew about that since he had lost all memories of at the Battle of the Spire of Despair. Seth later learned that Zane had sent him that message.

They returned to the Spire where they were attacked by Seth. He explained that he had decieved them all along, but was called out by his friends as they claimed “you are not Seth”. The person openly admitted that he went by the name of “Death” but in the future would be known as “Raizo”.

(Raizo and Death are the same person, Raizo tried to bring about “The End” but lost all his energy in the future and broke free of Seth, becoming his own being of mana and he became an overlord. In the future, Seth has no soul because it was torn when Death/Raizo broke free, so Zane controls the two of them.)

He went on to tell that Seth was possessed by Death"s spirit when he was kid and because of Seth"s power level, Death"s spirit would not be released. However, when Seth died and reacted to Shadow or Zane, Shadow reactivated Death"s being. At the same time, another person known as Zane lived within Seth. Death explained that he had brought about “The End” several times before, and this would be his next time. Zane had been his last puppet and all the memories Seth saw were the things that Zane did when controlled by Death. Seth was to be Death"s next “weapon” against all beings of both worlds.

Death explained that the reason Seth could read “Book of Death” and use Dark Magic was because it responded to Death, causing Seth"s powers to be less limited. Death had been the cause for Seth losing most of human memories along with much of his humanity.

During it, Death tried to get his puppet to finish off his allies, but Zane had brought Seth to realization and snapped him out of it. When Zane welled up inside Seth, they combined their energy and Seth"s scythe reacted to “Ankoku Hunter”, an ancient device used to fend off Death. Together, they were able to destroy Death for a certain amount of time. Death"s energy scattered and re - entered Seth.

Seth, now trying to live a normal life is forced to share with Zane, his newfound partner. He enters the Academy of Arcane Artes to try to discover how to destroy Death before Death returns to complete his role to bring “The End”. Seth is still being used as a weapon for Death, but tries to find a way against Death.

Personality: Seth keeps to himself much of the time. He likes to keep a majority of his secrets hidden.This has become difficult for him because Zane is always inside of his head and can access his memory base and read his thoughts. Zane and Seth share coversation despite them being in two different places and Seth sees Zane as his partner as Zane sees Seth (although he lies and says Seth is his pet). He is grateful to Zane for being able to anchor his soul so that Death doesn’t take it over, since Zane is part of what keeps him sane. He is shown to easily forgive seeing as to how he forgives his overly abusive partner. He often takes the blame for what Zane does, causing him to be hated because very few people know about Zane. Despite his life and abusive partner, Seth tends to look at most things on the “bright side” although he isn’t “happy - go - lucky”, he keeps a devious smile and a mischevious side. He can be easily distracted and is a complete bookworm and intelligent, seeing as to how he wastes most of him time reading. Despite having Zane with him, it doesn’t stop him from being kind to most people (or tries to be) despite how he may annoy them for his own amusement. Seth has a soft side, but barely shows it to people except his little sister, Alice and Soul’s adopted little sister, Lilith (Rival). He hates accepting help and is incredibly stubborn, and this causes him to argue with his partner often.

Strange Abilities / Attributes / Traits: He and Zane can switch back at any moment, even during battle although Seth doesn’t like to. When he and Zane switch, Seth cannot use Zane’s weapons and Zane cannot use Seth’s nor can he cast magic spells. He can use one spell without using an incantation as a result for natural knowing it (This spell known as “Shadow Falcon”). He can use “Death” or “grimoire” magic, although this is not very much different from regular Dark Magic. Seth sometimes has violent flashbacks of what Zane did in his past life and these will sometimes cause him to collapse. Each time he has these “flashbacks” he thinks he is getting closer to finding a way against Death.

Other / Side Note: During the series, Zane might be in control a bit more often than Seth for some parts of it. Seth spends much time reading the grimoire, and trying to find a way to stop Death’s goals. He often “floats away” from his body for periods of time, each time getting worse showing that Death is taking away his soul (during these periods of time, Zane is in control). At first, Seth lies and tell everyone at the school that he has mental issue to cover up Zane’s existance to avoid any wanted attention. While Alice is never directly in the story, Seth will write letters to her throughout the Roleplay.

Biography: Remii was born to an abnormal mother and father. Her father, a pure-blood vampire with high status and rank over other vampires, had been in love with Remii’s mother for awhile. Her mother had been a beautiful woman, only she had the horns of a sheep and was able to turn into a sheep.

The abnormalities of her parents had been passed onto her without a doubt. She had sheep horns as well as hair that felt exactly like wool. She had also received her father’s vampire blood. The blood that made her a pure-blood vampire despite being part sheep. This caused her to want blood, but not need it.

At the age of 4, her parents tried to enroll her in a human preschool. She attended it for 4 days before the kids took a notice to her and began calling her “Sheepire! Sheepire!” She hadn’t had control over her fangs yet, and her horns were too big to hide. She hadn’t told her parents about the name calling until an accident happened.

Remii had been playing with some blocks when a boy with golden hair and sea blue eyes came up to her and kicked her block tower down. Tears formed in Remii’s eyes as he pointed down to her and started laughing. Calling her “Stupid Sheepire! Stupid stupid!” A tear fell from one of her eyes before she jumped ontop of the boy and bit into his neck. The teacher pulled her off of him before she sucked too much blood, and expelled her from the school immediately due to not wanting to endanger the lives of her students anymore and that it was a terrible mistake even letting the girl attend their school.

Remii stayed home with her parents, allowing them to teach her what she needed to know at her age. After a discussion between the couple, they decided to send her to a kindergarten made for vampires. She was accepted by them at first, due to her mother cleverly hiding her sheep ears in her hair, but once it was time for recess, she began to run around, not realizing her hair uncovered her sheep horns. The kids around her gasped, and one kid started laughing.

Soon, the others laughed too, ignoring her rank above them as a pure-blood. She cried and ran back inside and sat in the washroom until dismissal. When her parents picked her up, she cried and cried about how awful her day was. They removed her from the school and decided to just homeschool her due to how kids perceived her.

Her parents had kept her locked up in their house ever since. She never had contact with other people except her parents and a sheep they nursed back to health one day. She was completely home schooled, and taught nothing but what her parents knew; which was quite a lot.

As the years went by, Remii’s horns grew and so did her fangs. She hadn’t received anything else abnormal from her parents besides her fangs and her horns, as well as the traits that came a long with them. It wasn’t so bad being part sheep and part vampire, the only downfall was that people rarely accepted you.

One day, she received a letter from the Academy of the Arcane Artes. “A-A school…? Wants me…?” she had wondered as she read the letter. Her parents approved of her going as long as she didn’t come back too soon just because she was made fun of. She agreed and is now 16 years old, about to attend the academy.

Personality: Remii is afraid of being rejected more than anything. She longs for friends, and hates to feel rejected by her peers. Due to this fact, she puts on a facade of acting overly happy, cheerful, oblivious, and a klutz to those she doesn’t know very well. Once she gets to know you, her personality mask is removed and she acts like her true self. Quiet, shy, timid, serious, and very gullible. She is very studious, and athletic due to her family’s background in intelligence and sports.

Isaac is a carefree Paladin and member of the Radiant Knights, an organization of soldiers who fight for peace among the lands of Lucis. Because of his strong sense of justice, Isaac joined immediately after hearing about them.

It has been three years since then, Isaac is now sixteen and a fully trained paladin. Having completed his training with the Radiant Knights, Isaac returned home to his parents. Where he was immediately given a letter, an invitation to an acadamy.

Personality:

Isaac can be a little on the slow side, often making the wrong decisions and making a fool of himself with clumsy mistakes or idiotic assumptions. Though he may seem dumb, he is schooled and knows more than just how to fight, however everything he knows is from book and book only. Isaac isn"t very good with other people, though he is a friendly guy. With a sense of justice, Isaac do almost anything for his ideal world. One where fighting is for fun and not for war. Although with him being such a klutz at times, things often become worse.

A clumsy hero would be a fitting title for Isaac.

Biography / Background Story: Being a half-breed, he was hated by almost every body. He was dis-owned by his mother because she never wanted a demon, or even a half-breed of one. He could never find his father, so he was left to roam the lands alone. He only wanted to find a friend, but no body would be. One day, he found somebody that didn’t care that he was a half-breed. The area he was in, how ever, despises half-breeds. As Tamashi and his new best friend got closer, so did the un-avoidable fate. After just a week, his friend was hung. Tamashi was forced out of the town and began looking again. He hid in a cave and began trying to master magic.

Once he had gotten good at magic, he decided to go back to his home and see what was going on. He got there, expecting to see the beautiful land that he remembered, but it was all nothing but fire. Looking upon the terror of this scene, he wondered who or what might have caused this. He fell to his knees and cried. After a few seconds, he heard a voice. It was his mother’s. Tamashi looked at her, dazed. It only took his a moment to realize that she was dead herself, that this was just an illusion. She warned him that some one was coming to get him, and he felt something about her. He immediately believed her. She told him to run, because he was coming. So he ran, and in the glimpse of his eye, he saw a shadowy figure. Tamashi ran and ran until he finally had no more energy.

He rested in a forest, and he met a wolf there. This wolf, Black as midnight and it’s eyes as red as blood, seemed to accept him. The wolf tugged on his arm and led him to some where. Finally, they reached a cave. They entered it and Tamashi created a ball of light. He saw that this cave had a few extra holes, each leading to a certain cavern. The wolf led him to one, and gestured in a way that Tamashi knew he said “You may live here.” Tamashi didn’t think twice and layed down. He found out the wolf’s name was “Kial Junelia Fandelo” and lived with him and his family.

After a few weeks, a letter appeared in front of him. He grabbed it and read it. It was an invitation to a school, about magic and arts! He signed it and it was teleported back to the school. Tamashi felt that he got accepted, so he then began to pack and head off.

He get’s terrible headaches every once in a while… and whenever he has these headaches, he can hear a faint and familiar voice…

Biography / Background Story:

He was born many, many years ago in a town, country or village that no longer exists. He was sixteen when the Black Gale was originally opened to Lucis. He lived on Earth and didn"t believe in the nonsense that Lucis had until Death or Raizo had attached himself to Zane.

Zane didn"t realize it at first until he began seeing the flashbacks and found himself being controlled by an entity. During the time he was confused and lost until he uncovered the truth from a girl who had the ability to see into the past. She had come across that Death / Raizo has existed since the beginning of time and has brought both worlds to an end a few times. She continued to explain that the residents of both worlds had disappointed Death and that he wished for them to start over.

She went on to explain to Zane that Death would attach himself to a “vessel” or living being that was strong enough to hold Death as an entity. Zane had been a suitable choice. Zane had very little time to try and save his world. Him and the girl sent out a mission with a few others and all of them were defeated. In the end, Zane had failed and Death brought about “The End” once more and ruined all records of time.

It’s been 14.5 billion years since Death has last brought about “The End” but has become annoyed with the worlds again and wishes to destroy them. The entity had attached himself to Seth when he was a kid, but without realizing that Seth was strong enough to keep Death at bay.

Zane became a shattered soul once Death reentered the atmosphere and was captured in a stone that Mages in Lucis use for experiments. He became an experiment to someone named Chase, who at the time was part of an organization. Zane became a second side to Chase, known as “Shadow”. Chase’s normal side would be known as “Soul”.

A few years later, Chase had met up with Seth and his allies. At the time, Zane was mainly kept at bay, and was in sync with Chase so that he would only take control during battle. Zane had no memories of him being a human before while being part of Chase.

When Seth died during the Battle at the Spire of Despair, Zane felt a tugging from Death’s resistance. Death, still dwelling inside Seth allowed Seth to be revived, but Death needed more souls for this to be necessary. Since Zane was Death’s previous puppet, he held all the people that Death had killed during the last “End”.

Zane was ripped from Chase and became part of Seth. At first, Zane was still in Chase’s mind set, and for three years would be quieted inside of Seth with the other souls. Seth still had no idea of what dwelled inside of him, but heard the voices of the spirits inside of him and had violent flashbacks.

Three years later when Chase had returned from the future with his allies, Zane reactivated along with Death. Zane was still in the mindset that he was with Chase, and whenever Seth had fallen asleep or something of the sort, Zane would attempt to hunt down Chase. However, Death had a bloodlust during the time causing Zane to become a killer during the period.

Zane, who had FINALLY realized what he was doing, tried to communicate to tell Seth. He couldn’t contact but was able to tell Seth to go to “The Spire of Despair” because that is where Death had lived when entering the atmosphere.

When Seth had gone there, Death finally broke free of the bonds, revealing who he was. Seth was under control; however Zane had regained the control in a battle with Death and was able to snap Seth out of it. Together, they were able to finish off Death with their energies combined, but Death’s energy had shattered and reentered Seth making Seth vulnerable to bring about “The End” at any moment.

At the moment, Zane and Seth share a mutual body, although they are two different people. Zane and Seth are neutral as they are forced to work together because of their situation. Seth is usually in control, but Zane sometimes surfaces or wins control.

Personality: Zane has an attitude and can be a complete “jerk” and is almost straightforward about everything. He isn’t afraid of anything being as how he is already dead and that Seth would most likely face the consequences and this sometimes causes Blu to hate him. Although he doesn’t seem to care, if Seth is injured enough, he will take control and attempt to help Seth. Seth being stubborn doesn’t usually allow him to help him, which often causes Zane to force himself to be in control, and this often creates fights between the two. Zane is naturally seen as a “villian” because of how he is abusive towards his partner and how he can act to anyone that isn’t human or from Earth. He naturally views everyone as a freak, and won’t admit that he is one despite he knows he is one. He can be snarky and rude, and has no actual manners, or so he pretends. He will occasionally be caught using a word that refers to someone with respect or a woman. He can be sometimes seen as an “older protective” brother to Seth, as he wants Seth to succeed since he couldn’t. He cares for his partner, but refuses to admit it or show it and teaches his partner one thing, “Always smile in the face of absolute Death.” There is much Zane hides about himself, for example his love for cooking. Despite his confidence attitude, Zane sometimes has problems remembering what he did in the past and will sometimes go quiet for periods of time and tries to relax himself. Seth tries to cheer him up, and Zane usually bounces right back and starts insulting Seth again. Zane sometimes pretends to pout to get attention from his partner. Zane has mild cases of arrogance that matches with him being straightforward. He always thinks he is right and that his opinion is final and is the most important opinion in the world. He sees everything in his own view and mentions how he is “disappointed” by others lack of “class” and sees them as “inferior” or “unimportant”. He thinks that whatever he says is the absolute truth, and that no one can deny it and that who do are just running from reality. Or so he says. He won’t admit it, but he is “hiding” from reality (or “destiny”). He lies that he cannot feel emotions, but because he has been with Seth for so long, he has begun to feel his human emotions again because he is getting in touch with his human side. Zane is sure that he lost his emotions as a result of “regret” which was strong enough when he originally died. He is angsty on occasion, but these moments usually last short periods of time.

Afterschool Activities: He doesn’t have any. He secretly wants to attend Cooking Club, but does not mention this fact.

Strange Attributes / Traits/ Abilities: His intelligence isn’t high enough for magic, but he is an incredibly skilled assassin, so when in control he can use a bow and arrow to efficient uses. Zane can’t use any magic, although being inside Seth he has gotten some magic rubbed off of him and will use magic when he doesn’t mean it. He has a special ability or second “vision” to the “Inner Energy” of someone’s soul. Sometimes he sees people as bright lights or color rainbows instead of regular people.

Other/ Side Note: Zane is an amazing cook and tries to hide his love for cooking and sketching, and tries to lie and say his only interest is “annoying people and then killing them”. While saying he has one catchphrase, he actually has several. (“Hey, don’t forget. Always remember your ABCs (Always be cool).”), (“When Death looks you in the face, summon your inner jerk and smile.”), and a few more.

Yuu is a magical race of dog that came with her family from Lucis. Using magic, Yuu can transform himself into a large black cerberus. He understands multiple languages and can talk. The cerberus form can only be kept for a certain period of time depending on the mana Yuu has left.

Biography / Background Story: Riku was born in Lucis but shortly after moved to Earth as a young child in fear of monster attacks. Her family felt safer in Earth. Riku"s father was the typical over protective father whereas her mother expected far too much from her. In elementary and junior high school, Riku was often teased for not being born on Earth. She only found comfort in talking to Yuu who could talk back and patiently listen.

Once she had got to high school, her father and mother had enough teasing and were far too conscious of her safety so they sent her to a Military School and Yuu tagged along at the wish of Riku. After a few years of rigorous training, target practice and regular classes, Riku graduated earlier than most students and was well known.

Even though she was “accepted” as a model student, Riku wasn"t content with this feeling of superiority. This was no challenge to her and once she recieved the letter from a special academy that suited all of her needs; Riku smiled to herself and accepted the offer.
