Academy Of The Arcane Artes [Roleplay]

His nose finally stopped bleeding, and it was now crusted in blood, and so was his hand. " I have nothing to clean it now. " he sighed as he put his hand upright on his thigh, and he picked off the crust, and crumbled it as it floated down to the ground.

" I hope my emotions don’t overtake me, I was a fool to summon Pazuzu. " he muttered to himself, and he picked at one of his golden strings on his jacket.

He was also expecting much more people then there was. " I wonder why I’ve been accepted in the first place? " he thought, noticing there was only a select few, as he was nothing very special…except the demon within him.

OOC: Just ignore the whole helping thing, I missed piratically everyone haha.

He walked steadily over towards the griffin, examining it with his gazing green eyes, then jumped as high as he could, reaching the seating area, looking around, sitting on his own one row behind the front, placing his lightweight backpack softly down on the griffins back, letting out a sigh of relief, looking around him slowly , seeing if anyone was left to get on. He let out a small sigh or relief and happiness.

If this is what the transport is like, Imagine the school… He thought to himself, smirking slightly, putting his feet up on the chair in front of him, folding his arms behind his head.

OoC: I changed up Isaac’s personality in the signup.

“That went well…” Isaac thought aloud, embarrassed by his actions even though no one seemed to care. With his eyes still stinging from the dirt, Isaac fought back the need to rub them as he still wore the gauntlets. Doing so would only make things worse…again. There’s gotta be another way… It never once occurred to him that he could just remove the gauntlets. Isaac looked around at the others. Maybe I should ask for help… He shook off the idea. That would only make him seem weird, asking for someone to rub his eyes for him. However another idea rose in his head.

Isaac inched closer to the one in nearest him, occasionally looking around to see if anyone had been watching. Once in range, he slowly reached for them. Cold sweat formed on his forehead, it was too late to stop now. Isaac regretted his decision almost immediately, but he had to go on with it. There was no stopping him now! The soft fibers of their shirt will rid him of the cursed pain that assaulted his eyes. Almost…there…!

The metal plating on his arm gritted against one another, causing a sharp noise. Isaac froze in place, his hand still suspended in midair. I was soo close!! How could you think this would work!? Why didn’t you just ask!? Did I leave my polish in the drawer? They’ll think you’re creepy now! Were only a few of the many thoughts that raced through his head as he waited for his impending doom. No! I have to continue! It’s right there!

Isaac grabbed ahold of their shirt. This was a bad idea… He realized what he’d done, and now it really was too late to change it.

Azuma was thinking off again, pondering and thinking about Pazuzu who awaited his summoning. He noticed the paladin that caused him to wipe out in the first place, and he seemed to be acting strange.

The paladin reached to his shirt. " Hey, what are you doing?! " he said as he tried to push his arm back, but he failed as he grabbed his shirt. " Let go! " he growled, as he punched Issac’s face in his anger. " Don’t go grabbing somebody’s shirt for no reason! "

Isaac recoiled from the punch, releasing the shirt and placing a hand on his face. He reeled back a bit, crying out despite the fact that the punch didn’t actually hurt him very much. Making yet another over dramatic scene.

“T-That hurt!” Isaac yelled as he glared at the boy through his fingers. His eyes were bloodshot by now thanks to the dirt in them, making his feigned anger all that much more intimidating. Isaac drew his fist back in retaliation, but dropped it as he realized this was a perfect opportunity.

Removing his hand, he straightened his posture. “I was just trying to get your attention, but you were zoned out…” Isaac laughed nervously out of embarrassment. “Do you…have a cloth or some water or something? My eyes are burning really badly and I’m wearing gauntlets as you can clearly see.”

[OOC: I hate going back home where there is no internet. By the time I get back, there’s already a ton of replies and I have to read pretty much every one of them to understand what’s going on, and what to do next. It’s quite annoying…]

“Thank you, Miss.” I said, and I walked back to Kial. “She seems nice. Well, nice enough to answer a simple question like the one I just asked her.” I said to him. “So… Griffons? Do things like that even exist?” I asked to myself while sitting down.

In almost perfect timing, I looked up and saw a shadow in the sky. It quickly began to fly down to this area, and land. Dazed, I took a good look at it. To my surprise, it was a Griffon! “Whoa, I guess that answers my question! Such a majestic beast…” I said to myself and Kial.

I saw that people were getting on it and I reacted quickly. “Oh, I think this is our ride!” I said as I stood up. I began running towards it, just so I don’t become late and miss it, as Kial followed close behind. Once I got up to it, I ran my hand down it slightly. “Wow… I never imagined to see one of these in my whole life! I wonder… are there going to be more creatures like this at the school…?” I said.

I used a simple gravitation spell to get me and Kial up. He seemed a little worried. “I know, I know… You hate flying and stuff like that, but I have the slightest feeling that you may experience more of that when we get there… Riding a Griffon won’t help though.” I told him as we got up on top. I found us a row and we sat down, Kial coming up close to me, knowing what was about to happen.

I looked over at everybody who was on it, and thought to myself, Some of these people seem to be very rowdy and maybe even rude… I hope I don’t have to put up with people like that… and sighed. Oh well, we’ll find out how this will go soon enough. I smiled and petted Kial.

" Oh, well, sorry. " he grumbled. " I don’t have a cloth or a towel either, you see, my parents died and I only have a portrait and my staff in this suitcase. " He said, his voice slightly cracking.

Oh come on mind! Why’d did I tell him?! he thought, then turned away from Isaac and looked down. Pazuzu was feeding of his sadness and anger, and he hated that fact that a demon was eating at his emotions.

“Hey…did that kid just levitate?” Seth was leaning back on the Griffin now, Blu was no longer whining for dirt being in her eyes. (“Do what now?”) Zane was sitting in the back of Seth’s mind searching for some sort of memory holding that guy that looked strangely familiar.

“You know, float. It looked more like a spell to me. You think he’s a Mage?” Seth watched as the boy and his wolf sat down on the Griffin. Seth kicked his feet up on the back of his seat, half wondering how a Griffin had seats on it’s back and if it was heavy. (“A what? Speak a language I understand.”)

“You know…Spell Caster?” Seth was almost in a daze, being slightly tired. The sun was out now, and Seth predicted it would be hot out soon. Which reminded him…which world were they in?

(“I don’t know. I don’t care if it doesn’t help me kill.”)

“Magic can kill. Most mages just choose not to.” Seth kept glancing around the Griffin wondering how this school year will be. He overheard Remii and her friend discussing a team. Speaking of which…what will his team be? Would he and Zane just be solo during the entire time? (“We can solo.”)

“Quit reading my thoughts.” Seth replied annoyed. Zane was smirking in the back of Seth’s mind. He would hate Zane if he wasn’t his partner. Forced partner. Still. “Say…Zane. What happened to your depression? I liked you better when you were quiet.”

(“Yeah, I decided it would be nice to bother you again.”)

“I wanna read!” Seth replied annoyed that he couldn’t read the grimoire. He wasn’t sure if it wasn’t even safe, let alone legal. He was pretty sure it was a witch document, and witches were pretty much illegal in Lucis for some time. (“You are such a loser.”)

“I am.”

He began watching the scene between the guys fighting and arguing, laughing slightly.

“Oh wow, I didn’t expect that until we actually got to the school…” He seemed quite shocked, wanting to break it up, but he knew deep down it wasn’t his place to do so, nor was it important enough to get involved, he knew it would end fairly quickly and what do you know, it did. They began to look like they where kind of making friends, he lay back further, stretching out and yawning.

Suddenly an intense pain shot to his head, he fell back and off the entire row holding his head. "Crap that one hurt…"He said firmly holding his forehead, gripping it even, sighing softly, slowly standing up, laughing it off and sitting back in place, his head hung low.

Morning to you too, Nera… He said in his mind.

Letting out a small moan of slight pain, he returned his body back to the way it was before the entire incident, hoping no one noticed.

I had overheard the male talking about me, but I simply ignored it. I thought for a moment that he was talking to himself, perhaps crazy, but then I heard ‘quit reading my thoughts’ and it occurred to me that there are probably some people with that power, based on my observations of everybody around me. We’re all a bit strange in our own ways, aren’t we? We are who we are. I thought to myself.

Just as I said that, I saw a flash of memories. Horrible ones, of my friend who was hung, my mother who died, and everybody else who might have died because of me. I gripped Kial tighter, trying to hold my emotions in. I quickly tried to get these thoughts out of my head, because I knew that perhaps some one there could be reading my mind. I’d best keep my thoughts to myself… I thought.

Just as quickly as my memories came, they were gone and replaced with thoughts about what the school would be like. I thought about a lot of places it may be. Would it be like a castle? Would it have dungeons? Or, is it like one of the schools I’ve read about in stories about schools on Earth? I wonder… what IS Earth like, anyways…? I thought to myself, and I began to doze off into my thoughts about what the ‘other’ world is like. I looked off into the distance.

“H-Hey don’t feel bad!” Oh no what’d I do!? What DO I do?! Isaac began to panic in his head. He didn’t mean to bring out any bad memories of the boy’s past. Oh man if this kid starts crying I’ll look like a bully and school hasn’t even started yet! “I mean, how would your parents feel if they saw you being all depressed like this?”

That…probably wasn’t my best choice of words… Isaac thought as he pat the kid on the head. He probably hates my guts now…just play it off until he blows up…

He was staring down at his feet darkly, and memoires were running through his head, mocking him it was his fault his parents died, if only he didn’t run away…

"I mean, how would your parents feel if they saw you being all depressed like this? " the paladin said, and started patting his head. Suddenly, he stood straight up, got his suitcase, took out his staff, and whacked Isaac’s face as hard as he could with it.

Unlike before, when the blow connected, Isaac did not recoil like then. The loud crack of impact echoed through the air. His face had been turned to the side, exposing his now reddening cheek for all to see. That’s gonna swell up bad…

Isaac turned to face the boy slightly. “Feeling better?” He asked calmly, hoping not to offend the kid anymore. It was in his best intention not to get hit again. Blunt objects hurt when swung like that. Although after being hit, Isaac wasn’t really sure whether he should apologize or not.

As he was packing his things, Mathias thought to himself
I wonder if anyone will even talk to me. I’ll probably look stupid carrying this Keyblade, I mean no-one knows that they even exist anymore.

Before he left He remembered that he brought a few extra “Keychains” with him. These Keychains changed the strength and appearance of his Keyblade. Though he usually uses the one he crafted, having extras helped, mainly because certain ones seemed to work better against certain monsters. Once he finished packing his things he went into the garage to say his good-byes.

“Bye Dad, tell mom I said not to worry, and that I’ll be fine.” he said, knowing she would worry anyway.
He was surprised When a Griffon flew down next to him. There were only a few other kids on-board, all having conversation with one another. When he jumped on-board, they all watched him carefully. As he started to walk to first empty seat he could find. To him, he seemed like any of the other kids on-board. Mathias noticed a few mages and warriors. He had some kind of magic abilities, but nothing spectacular or powerful in anyway. He was more of a warrior then a mage, but no-one could tell that by looking at him.

He began to think about why he was on his way to a private academy. I’m not the best in school, I barely passed last year, so i can rule grades out… Maybe it has something to do with my understanding of Magic. Or could be my Keyblade, after all I no-one else really understands this kind of weapon. Well whatever the reason, I’ll just have to make do.

At first, this whole thing seemed like a misunderstanding, but eventually he came to the conclusion that he was gifted in many things that he didn’t understand yet. He was already familiar with starting out as a nobody, and slowly making friends.

“Uggghhh…” A feminine voice yawned as a young girl woke up. “Ugh…is today…the day?”

“Meow.” A kitten named Chester said.

“Hmm? So…its…meh…” The girl grumbled as she looked at Chester, handing her a envelope.

“OH MY GOD I GOT ACCEPTED! YES!” The now estatic girl screamed inside of her cramped room.

“Mom! Dad! I got accepted!!”

“You did? Congrats!” Both of the parents said, eating cereal.

A few hours passed as Trinity, the girl got ready. “Ready Chester? Heeeerre we go!” Trinity yelled, pressing the what seemed to be green or something button.

A few moments passed as Trinity and her cat plopped out of thin air onto a tree. “I-is that…” Oh crud…its the bus…OH CRUD OH CRUD OH CRUUUUD

The girl yelled as she hurried and hopped onto the back of the griffin, sitting right behind a young girl named Riku. “Uh…h-…hi…”

“Meow…”

Kemerd sat there for a while, with his dragon sleeping on his jean coated lap. Kemerd twidled with his fingers, read a book, drew some manga, but eventually, he got bored. “Why do I have to sit here… where are the other students!” Kemerd said, causing his dragon to open one lazy eye, just to make sure everything was all right! Kemerd stood up. “Where is the cafeteria! I need some more food… Grumble” He said, not noticing his dragon on the floor, in a state of daze. Once Draco pulled himself together, Kemerd was gone. Draco gave a small whine, and a blink of his huge eyes. Kemerd? It mentally boomed, looking for his partner.

Kemerd kept on walking, until he realized something. Where is Draco! Kemerd thought with great surprise. I forgot all about him! I must have left him sleeping… So Kemerd went to the lounge, right as Draco turned around the corner into somewhere else. Draco? Kemerd boomed. Kemerd! Draco boomed on back. They both looked around quickly, looking for eachother. Then the pair ran around, but just as one found the place the other was in, they had already went down another corner. This continued for quite some time.

Riku caught a figure jumping onto the griffon with the corner of her eye. Yuu confirmed her suspicions by lifting his head and looking towards the unknown person. Riku turned her head to get another glimpse, but a gust of wind came her way. Thus her long hair got in her face and covered her eyes.

You really should get yourself a pony tail," Yuu laughed silently.

Grunting in annoyance, Riku brushed her hair aside and finally got a good look. The girl had long black hair and had cat ears. There was a tabby cat with a red circle around one eye sitting next to her.

“Uh . . . h-hi,” the girl stuttered.

She obviously was the shy type and she didn’t seem threatening.

Note to self, Riku thought. You’re not in the military academy any more.

“Hello,” Riku smiled politely. “My name is Riku, what’s yours?”

" Yea, I’m much happier! " he said, his voice going demonic for a second. He realized this, and covered his mouth. " Mhm, Sorry. " he muttered, and he went further down the griffin, as he sat there, murmuring to himself. A demonic voice raised from his mouth again, and he told it to shut up quietly.

" Thanks for almost breaking your cover! " he growled at Pazuzu. " Hah, your fun to play around with. When will I get into that world? Its boring roaming into your body. " he said quietly. " Sorry, but I don’t know the requirements to get you out. " he muttered. They contuined chatting quietly, making him look insane and like a idiot.

(“Are you reading a book through your bag?”) Zane was swinging around a pole in Seth’s mind. Seth visualized a pole for Zane to practice with since Zane was practically giving him a headache. Seth tried to ignore him, but this was the fifth time he asked.

“Yes!” He kept the book hidden in his bag as he flipped through the grimoire, hoping no one noticed the deathly, black book. He could get in serious trouble for holding the grimoire. He was the heir, he did break the spell holding the book shut and even used some spells in it. Which was dangerous, but when did Seth care about that?

(“Did you hear that?”)

“Yeah…I did.” He slammed the book back in his bag and leaned out. He heard some kid talking to himself the same way Seth probably sounds talking to Seth. The voice almost sounded demonic…but he couldn’t hear all to well.

(“You think he is the same as us?”)

“What are the odds?” That was true. How many Deaths could attach themselves to idiotic humans. Which reminded Seth as to why Death picked someone like him opposed to an idiot like Zane. Seth looked around the Griffin to all the fellow oddballs on the Griffin. “Going to be an interesting year, ain’t it?”

(“Yeah.”)

And with that, Seth went back to reading his book.

((OCC: RP Sign Up is closed aside from my sister who will Sign up when her computer is fixed. I’m letting the RP Sign Up become a chat topic or whatever, so go ahead and make it however you want. I also updated Seth/Zane’s appearance. Seth now has cobalt eyes and black hair like originally. Check out his picture for more info I guess.)

While Chris had been reading before, he had started to just look over the top of his book to watch the other people aboard the gryphon. A few conversations, and an interesting situation between the familiar boy and the some other person. Chris wasn’t sure what to think of the group so far. He wasn’t sure where he’d end up fitting in, if at all. “They’ll notice me eventually,” he thought.

After a little bit of thinking, Chris stood up. He needed to know who the boy was. Chris walked over to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me," he said... "But you look extremely familiar, and-" Suddenly, it hit him. "My God..." The sentence trailed off.
