This is going to be a second attempt at my other Role play based around a magic school that students attend to fulfill their “destiny”.

[i]A strange world when the ideas of magic and alchemy have existed since the beginning of time, this world called “Lucis”, the opposite, or is it? There is yet another world, Earth in which has just begun to understand these exotic fields. In between the worlds, is a rip, that connects the worlds through a tunnel, or a wormhole, sometimes referred to as the “Black Gale”. People use this regularly to travel between the two worlds to study, ship or receive items, and transport interested tourists. Of course, as innocent as it sounds, issues are being to appear slowly. Monsters that existed in the other world have begun to attack Earth. However, because of this, evolution of mankind has been taking place within the past years. Children with the potential to unleash powerful magic spells and adapt to the other world. Children like so have been born on each side of the world.

Between the ascendant of monsters, a once thriving school once existed. An academy to be precise. The students, staff, and faculty were like the “Gatekeepers” between the worlds. The school rediscovered several years later has decided to send out letters to potential students to keep watch over the two worlds. The school, existing in the center of the two worlds now is being reborn![/i]

This is where you come in. After your thirteenth birthday or later, you are eligible to receive a license to use spells, weapons embedded with magic, alchemy, anything that Lucis or Earth has to offer. Enter through this exciting realm!

You and many others have been directly chosen to come study at our academy for the over talented! If you accept, you will become a “Gatekeeper”, a protector of the two worlds. The question is…“Are you up to it?”

Thank you, you will start school three days after your letter of acceptation appears. Attached to your letter will is a Port attached to the school. Click the small green button that will be accessible three days or earlier depending on the arrival of your letter. Late letters are always accepted. There will be a countdown display in green numbers below so keep watch for that.
You will arrive to the academy early Sunday / Solday around 6:00 A.M for a quick assembly and then a welcoming banquet.

Our academy is the best top rated in “Rich Magika Hunting”, “Learning Artes”, and “Shadowberge’s Weekly Digest”.

Our on campus Shopping Mall is top notch with selling ingredients for potions, a pet store, an electronic store, multiple clothing and robes stores, a forge, and many shops for your needs. Money can be sent from home, earned from answering questions or doing well on an exam, or by getting hired on one of the many jobs on campus.

Our academy has astounding beauty as the Weather is controlled by mages, the large brick building is designed with massive amounts of space and the landscape is absolutely brilliant with alchemy supplies growing all around. There will be a lake open for fishing and all times.

All students will be receiving a “Trailed Map” a holographic map created by futuristic mage technology in which if they were to insert a name they will be able to track their friends at all times.

Biography / Background Story: Aphrodite, the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility, was jealous of Earth women who had the power to concieve a child. She placed an egg of her own, in the womb of a happily married woman in hopes that it would grow to become a child for her to claim as her own. A baby was born genetically a Demi-god but with little powers like other Gods and Demi-gods with as equal birth right. Heliana is the daughter of Aphrodite, though she didn’t learn as much until the day of her 12th birthday when Aphrodite traveled to Earth to congratulate Heliana and offer to come live in Lucis with her. Helaina, in shock and confusion, ignored her mother’s request and forced her to leave. Before the suprise of her true bloodline, Helaina lived a fairly normal life among the people of Earth. She began to study the art Alchemy at the early age of 9, though she never seemed to live up to the unannounced expectations of her parents or even, herself. After learning that she was a demi-god, Helaina’s expectations for herself increased even further, though no huge improvement ever came. In hopes of improving her Alchemy skills and proving to her Earth parents, herself, and Aphrodite that she deserves the title as a Demi-god, Helaina filled out the application to enter the Academy.

Personality: Helaina is generally friendly, but her friendly nature is often over-shadowed by her lack of trust in people, and so she doesn’t talk much beyond when she’s spoken to. She is a hard worker, however stubborn and won’t stop at anything to make herself better. She has a naturally short temper and very often gets frusterated with herself and others.

History / Background Story: The younger and innocent sister of Percy Zepher and Seth Valkyrie. She is the chosen heiress of the grimoire and has been trying to figure out the code behind the book. Despite the descriminated of being a witch in her homeland she is protected by her half - brother Percy. She wants to learn elemental spells opposed to her brothers who learned swordsmanship and dark / healing spells.

She went with her brothers and their friends on a journey to stop the organization of Vincent when she was only twelve years old and had returned a year later. She proved herself useful with elemental spells and is quite a prodigy but wishes to better herself.

Most of her life she lived with her mother unaware of the existence of her brother and half brother until she was nine when they had an “accidental” encounter and had found out that she, both her brothers and her mother were all witches and that was why her mother and her were in hiding. Her half brother joined the Knights while the other went into hiding to later join a group of traveling.

Her Witch Guardian Spirit was a deceased Madam Fox made of pure phoenix fire named “Madam Kitsune” who follows her everywhere.(The other Guardian spirits are a Cat and a Dragon).

Personality: She is very friendly and is always smiling. She is known for being very innocent and well behaved. She is an excellent cook and loves to cook for her friends. She is somewhat of a child prodigy, but has a habit of messing up and stressing over it when she does. She loves animals and are gentle with them but she is timid. She is very afraid of darkness and spiders. She hates swimming.

Biography / Background Story: Cyael was never very good at magic. Whenever the other elves his age went to practice magic, he would opt to train his pet, have extra practice with his sword, or practice with a gun, a weapon not often used by his people. Eventually, all of his practice made him into a hardened fighter.

Personality: He’s usually pretty easy-going. He can be a bit shy, but make no mistake. He will speak up if he’s annoyed.

Biography / Background Story:

Lance went through a tragic early childhood. His father, was murdered over a neighborly dispute over a fence. His mother had gone into denial for two months directly after the incident. This all happened when Lance was just three years old. Not knowing what happened, he kept asking his crying mother where his father was. This didn"t help his mother, and Lance had to try to grasp the situation himself.

They moved shortly after the death of his father to a different neighborhood. It was quite far away from his previous home. His mother and him had stayed there ever since. Lance feels that he"s guilty of his father"s death because he recalled him asking his father for a swing in their backyard. There was no fence at the time, so the neighbor and his father constantly argued about putting the fence in between their properties.

Lance had to mature quickly to help his mother, and get an education at the same time. The children in his school teased him about not having a father. He was often bullied when he was younger, but as Lance got older he became the one who got the last laugh. Lance aims to be a Gunner to protect his mother, his magical cat, Horus, and what ever he holds dear to him.

Personality:

Lance is a quiet boy, he had never spent time socializing. He talks to Horus on a regular basis, but not to other people. Lance sometimes doesn"t talk to his mother. He"s independent, but passionate about the things he appreciates. He"ll appear friendly when he wishes to be, but only gets close to people he can trust.

Age: Who knows? Lance guesses around 40 years old in cat years.
Biography / Background Story:

Lance found Horus half starved under a tree in his backyard one snowy day. He took Horus inside, and persuaded his mother to keep the black cat. The neighbors stayed away from them because they were quite superstitious, and his mother was as well. She would not pay to feed the cat, so Lance used his savings to feed, and keep the cat warm and comfortable.

After a month, Horus had gained all the weight he had lost, but Horus was not just a black cat. He was a magical black cat. Yeah, you heard. MAGICAL. When the snow had melted, and Lance and Horus had become close friends. Because he was rescued by a human, he had disgraced his family. Horus" father realized what he had done, and deserted him.

He and Lance found a lot in common. One day, late at night, when Lance"s mother was away on a buisness trip, and Lance was doing homework, Horus took this chance to show his powers to Lance. With a prod of his paw, he got Lance"s attention, and started talking.

“Lance, uhh… I"m very thankful to you. If it wasn"t for you, I wouldn"t be here. You look astounded… I can talk. I"m a magical cat. I see you"re a Gunner? Let me lend you my powers. I can spread out my black wings, and help you. I am forever in your debt.”

Note: Horus can use his mana to turn himself into a larger, black, and black winged cat.

Personality:

Horus is a silent cat most of the time. He"ll be napping and doing other things regular cats do. If you anger him, Horus will stare at you until you get creeped out. Horus is friendly, but not very sociable to people who his master, Lance, does not like.

Weapon: Twin Pistols (Although they don’t shoot real bullets; they shoot bullets which come from Alyse’s magical abilities.)

Cross; can grow wings like Alyse can, although his wings look more demonic.

Background Story: Alyse is simply a young girl. Who happens to be an archangel. She used to be a normal human, but she died a calm death due to a disease. Her parents were devastated after she died, because she had never told them about the pain she was enduring all through her life, and how she fought against the pain.

Whenever her parents did take her to the doctors, they could never find anything wrong with her, so they’d just let her go home without very much else besides an exam. At age 11, she died because she just gave up and stopped attempting to fight the illness.

She had become an angel after she died. She was afraid at first, but eventually grew to like being an angel. She was able to watch over her parents from afar, everything was perfect. After a few months of being an angel, she was promoted to the next rank. She hadn’t know angels had ranks until she was promoted.

Now that she was promoted, Alyse had control over the lower ranked angels. She felt this to be great, so she controlled them with no mercy. Soon after, she decided that just that bit of power wasn’t enough. She worked hard and was promoted again… and again… and again.

Two years later, now 13 years old in human age, she’s an archangel; one of the highest ranks and angel could have. She felt that this was an amazing feat. She was the youngest angel to become an archangel, she was a top ranked and trusted angel, and her parents were doing fine, everything was great.

A few weeks after becoming an archangel, she grew a great desire to attend school like she did before she died. She asked her boss and it was approved soon after due to the fact she had already completed enough work and she deserved a break. He issued her a pet as well due to how trusted she was. The pet was a dog-like creature who looked kind of demonic despite the angel wing design on his side. She simply named him Cross and thought nothing else of it.

Now 14, she’s enrolled in the Academy of Arcane Artes. She understood she’d have to work twice as hard when she returned, but she didn’t care. She was enrolled in a school. A school that would help her become a better angel.

Personality: Alyse is normally a very serious and controlling. Despite her appearance, she can be rude and blunt about her feelings and will very rarely care about the feelings of others to get her way. Although, this personality only shows to people she doesn’t know very well.

Once Alyse begins to open up to someone, she’ll act very outgoing and lose her cold aura. She isn’t very talkative, but will talk if spoken to. She can also be considered funny sometimes. She also has a few… laughing fits if she knows you very well. This means she’ll begin laughing for awhile about pretty much anything.

First off, I updated Clubs and Classes. You can now have up to three characters now. Weather Magic is something I’m introducing as a new conception.

Second, Lucis’ Alchemy is Potions, mixing and making Elixirs. Earth’s Alchemy is like Fullmetal Alchemist alchemy. The alchemy existing around equalivent exchange and uses transmutation circles.

He didn"t expect her to mean that literally. As a child, he never paid any mind to how strong he was. Until one day, Naime got into his first fight. It didn"t take long for it to be broken up and when it was, he saw how mercilessly beaten his opponent was. From that day forth Naime tried his hardest to avoid everyone. Doing so took a toll on his mind. Making him cold and quiet to any and everyone new.

Background Story: Henri lived a normal life as a child. He was happy-go-lucky and always trying to be on everyone’s good side; no matter what he had to do. At age 6, he met a girl who looked around the same age as him. The girl told him one single sentence before walking away from him. “I don’t like you.” Those words had hurt Henri really bad, seeing as he had just met the girl. A few weeks passed and he still hadn’t forgotten the girl’s hurtful words.

Now a few years have passed, and it’s Henri’s 13th birthday. He hadn’t forgotten the girl, but the pain had somewhat died due to the time passed. Henri had been walking through the grassy hills when he felt a… familiar presence somewhere around him. He turned around, but it was too late…

A girl around the same age as him had sunken her razor sharp teeth down into his skin. “I told you I didn’t like you… I’m Ceceila by the way,” those were the last words he heard before his body went numb and he fell to the ground. His vision was blurry, and eventually everything just went black.

A few hours… no days… went by and Henri awoke in a… a… coffin? He groaned, and sat up. His only thoughts were, where am I and who am I? He heard noises and eventually a lady who looked as if she were in her mid-30s appeared. She said with no emotion that Henri had been the last feast a girl named Cecelia had and that she was killed soon after. The lady had saved Henri’s life by… turning him into a vampire too…

Henri was confused at first, but the lady continued saying things he hadn’t really paid attention too. One sentence captured his attention. “I enrolled you in an academy for next year since I can’t keep you here.” Henri was even more confused, but he simply nodded due to instinct.

A year passed and now Henri is about to leave the lady that had saved his life by turning him into a vampire.

Personality: Henri, despite his appearance is a very kind person. In crowds, he tries to act tough, but when he’s all alone he acts completely different. He’s almost never seen without a smile on his face, and he’s always having a good time when he’s with his close friends or alone.

Background Story: She was born in the United States and lived with her mother and father until a terrible accident bestowed them. She was six when her parents were killed from a car accident and she was shipped overseas to her aunt and her dog, Sparky.

From the moment she stepped foot in it, the young Archer had felt something strange about Translyvania, Romania. She had never expected werewolves to say the least.

She had always loved dogs, so wolves were nothing new to her. Even when she lived in the States her family had owned a dog. Sparky was definitely her favorite dog. Except there was Whisper. (The nickname “Wolfy” comes from her love of dogs!)

She was eleven when the mysterious white wolf appeared in the woods outside of the small village she lived in. He was a beautiful wolf, and Wolfy had been drawn to him immediately. She had never expect to have gotten bitten by the dog.

When she did, she didn’t expect anything to occur so ignored it. During the first full moon following her bite, she had blacked out for a long period of time not remembering anything, when she came to she had recieved the news from her aunt and the rest of the villagers that she was a werewolf or lycan.

To her surprise, many of the people in the village had become werewolves before, and Whisper himself was just a courier of the disease that had infected him as well.

At age twelve she began to start hunting, which she failed terribly at. Spirit was a stray dog at the time who had gotten in a fight with a Mountain Cat and was injured and acting on instinct, she took the dog in which would be in her debt.

Personality: A complete spaz and she is always hyper. She always has a large smile plastered on her face and is chipper and excited at all times. She has a habit of talking fast and eating fast too. She is eccentric and hard - willed, but seems to fail at the only thing she tries to do, which is hunting. She tries to hunt the Elk and Deer in the nearby woods with her Bow & Arrow to make venison to sell in her hometown.

Backround:He was about 13 and 1/2 on the fateful day,…when he died. Zach was playing soccer, his favorite sport. He got distracted by his family cheering him on as he made the would be winning shot, he kicked the ball,but it went the wrong way,and another soccer player (on the opposing team.) got it and shot it…right twords Zack’s skull. The ball smashed into his skull…light faded,and everything turned to black. Next thing he knew, he was in a coffin about 3 feet under ground. He got above ground and pulled his coffin up (his dead body still inside. He cant see his dead body, but if he could, it would look a bit…messy…His skull being smashed in. Other people can see it though.) This mysterious women came up, and gave him this application…so he could have someplace to go,for he didnt want to go to “the light.” (cough heaven cough.)

Personality:Nice and happy go lucky, he likes to “posses” the soccer ball or posses the soccer player when there going to cheat. He hates doing this however.

Background Story: Attending public school, he was often bullied for being different. He was shorter than most people and very ill growing up. He was known for being fragile.

His rich neighbors had a son who was jealous of all the attention James got despite the fact he was bullied. Their son later demanded to be placed into public school.

Between ages seven and nine, James had to suffer through his neighbor’s constant torturing and insultment. Being as the kid was oblivious, he didn’t mind much. This angered the kid to challenge him to a “fight of honor” were they both faught each other with katanas and called it a draw when both boys had gotten exhausted.

At age ten, James began his deadbeat stage following his mother’s death due to excessive smoking from stress of her abusive husband. James now began to hate and patronize his father and coping with the death he found himself doing “self physical training” (which is why he is so buff).

His father never came home one night and James didn’t really bother to look for him. Instead he made a living off of theivery and doing odd jobs around town with the help of a friendly fox nicknamed Dodger.

Personality: He’s often mistaken for your average deadbeat. Quiet and self reserved, James is against talking. He prefers to spend his time outside training rather then attending social events with “friends”. He is incredibly smart and talented at fighting. He is kind to many people and possesses an artistic spirit, he is relatively gentle with animals, though he is not a fan of larger animals. He has a habit of being chivalrious towards women for the most part.

Biography / Background Story: Most of Marelda’s life was spent taking care and working at the store owned by Marie’s parents, a maid café. She’d often be the waitress, bringing things and taking orders from the many visiting and regular customers, which proved very rarely to be any trouble for her. In her spare time, she would study many forms of Dark Magic in books she’d rent out. She’d practice levitating and tossing around her teacups using this. It also serves as a way to hold cups together that had been broken at one point or another, which saved money for the business on replacement cups, thus earning the permission of her parents to keep up her training.

Of course, it came to a point where she could no longer learn from what she had at her library, and she began shipping in many other books, even having to borrow out a few translation books in order to understand some of the other ones. Eventually she’d cover most of the books she could afford in her budget, which lead her to taking on another job to attempt earning more. However, once her parents found out about how hard she was pushing herself, they offered to send her to a school to learn instead, to which she replied a squeal and delight. She brought all her uniforms from her parents’ store, and keeps them as a reminder for her time spent there with her family.

Personality: Marelda has many traits that make her seem kind, however, at times she can prove to be rude. This is however, only when she is really upset by something, and in most cases, doesn’t mean half the things she says. She’ll commonly act as a maid towards almost anyone, and is willing to do whatever they ‘ordered’ as to show her kindness, which in some cases causes her problems among others who would mock her.
