Quick summary, my first and only post ( aside from another reply by me on said post ) was a suggestions thread which was a year and 3 months ago. I was new and you know, maybe I shouldn’t have tried to suggest things when I didn’t know what was already In.
These may be small, requested before, or already In progress, but throughout my time of playing I’ve thought of the following features/Ideas.
Ground tab In bag
Well, It’s pretty straight forward. It’s a small qol thing but also It was a real feature In the real games. Since you don’t automatically pick things up and Instead push ‘enter’, there aren’t any conflicts with that. Basically, we’ve all had those times where your bag Is full and you see an Item you want to use but you have to drop something first. I just thought of this too, this would help when there’s Items on top of each other. Ever picked up an egg because something you wanted was under It? :p
Logging out
This was In the old thread, but games usually have a way to actually log out. It may be confusing and weird to new players to have the only way to actually leave PMU be by exiting the window. And when you’re making a skin, having to keep logging out Is annoying :I That and If you need to switch accounts, log out because of an end/secret room, freezing/lagging game, player ghosts, etc… little things like that. Perhaps It could be a command to prevent misclicks. Or just have a confirm dialog.
House Suggestions
First of all I really want a way to undo. It would save much time when I accidentally add or remove a tile. That and, I was told In the old thread that only staff could get more than the blocked attribute, but I don’t see why? Mainly, I’m talking about only getting the attributes where you need a Ghost-/Water-/Flying-type or levitate. It would add more life to houses. This was discussed In-game a few days ago, but Instead of waiting for the time to change and then close the roof of your house, make It so we can manually change what time It Is there. And apparently this was once a thing, but I’d like to be able to save my maps too. I want my house to change depending on the season, dangit ): Lastly, party commands have been getting shortened ( bless whoever was doing It ), I want an /eh and /lh for /edithouse and /leavehouse.
Explorer Kit Tabs and Chats
Maybe, just perhaps, we could be able to have more than one kit on screen. The party tab Is extremely useful, when I would play support back then this was But then you can’t see the chat or anything, you might miss what someone says and you have to switch back whenever you want to see an Item name. We could have both showing with allowing more than one kit on screen or rather making that a separate thing players can choose to have on screen ( could It show belly and/or status conditions for party members too possibly ). PMing or literally any other channel could be turned Into other tabs In the kit as well. Typing the usual !“person” “message” will send that message In a new tab rather than In the regular chat, so you could type normally from there on. If you decide to close the tab, sending another message with that command will open It again along with the history. The chat can move by fast so this would save messages from getting lost. The same could be done with the other channels and their commands, or rather making It so when you select a channel, It shows only messages from that channel. Oh, and /p should get It’s own channel ( or tab If that’s being considered ). Also It’d be nice If doing /edithouse didn’t make the kit disappear. If It didn’t, moving the kit would actually have use If you’re going to start mapping
I’ll re add some other suggestions I still want from the old thread with better wording.
-Let trades go through without the other player having to set an Item. They would have to click confirm but not actually have to set an Item. People keep saying to use /trade to ensure things don’t get taken If you’re dropping them. I’ve had things taken when trying to give them to someone, this Is just convenient when trying to give a gift.
-Don’t consume a Mushroom unless the move Is learned. You’d say this would have to be the case for Shards and Heart Scales, but actually, you have to use them first and then you see a move. With Mushrooms, you can already see the available moves. Shards and Scales are rng, Mushrooms aren’t.
-I’d still like a way to follow people without having to move so escorts don’t get lost but I realized that when the map loading gets weird, so does collision. Essentially If they’re following you and their map(s) haven’t loaded fully/correctly yet, RIP. They might stop following or appear to keep following when they actually weren’t, on their screen.
