Hello, here are some houses I have made over my time in PMU! I hope you like them, some of them have errors due to restrictions in tiles or just errors in my mapping, haha.
And of course, you can most likely see my mapping style and skills better as time goes on!
It is kind of sad looking back at my oldest houses… ^^;
All of my houses have a sort of theme and story behind it. When I get the time I will add the descriptions~
I tried to make the chronologically accurate to the best of my memory…O-o
Also I have had more houses, but I deleted a few by accident without pictures ;~;

This was the first house I made in PMU. Still finding the ropes of mapping (not learning them yet xD)
But after endless wandering in the woods, a player would stumble across this small remote town as a place of relaxation and peace.

My main house for a while. Small community found within an active volcano.

This is just your run of the mill beach house. Looking out into the sunset…casually having a row boat on the side, for easy access, in case rabid seagulls attack ;D

This was definitely one of my favorite houses to create.

It did not come out as I hoped ;~; I tried to make it overgrown, but it became cluttered instead.

[spoiler23. Heuristic Habitat:2v2pij0w]Soooo, after the mapping contest I got a 50x50 expansion of my house! And here is the product of my first attempt at a 50x50 house (I am going to pretend like my first one didn"t happen…Winter Contest… X_X )
The theme of this house is… HAWAII! I was thinking of a volcano at the summit of the mountain;with a walk down to the beach. Hawaii is a very green place, so I kept the grass tiles/trees/flowers. I also added some ruins since it does have a rich culture before it got commercialized.

This was a veryyyyyy quick house a mapped for my mapping guide. It is basically a run of the mill autumn house. Nothing quite special about it, lol.

This was another map I created for my mapping guide to show perception height. Anyways, basically there is a civilization living in the clouds, and around this time ever year, they decorate all of their “Christmas” Trees with little ornaments. So this is just a little path between their villages.
And below them is a very large river and a huge forest with tall “Christmas” trees, but because they are so high up, it all looks very small. (not much of a story, rather than an explanation)

Definitely not my best work, but I just felt like fiddling with these new tiles. I was not as active when these tiles were introduced into the game. Plus my Charticuno character"s house was empty! ;~;
Anyways, yeah… its pretty boring…

Basically the story behind this house is a society of extraterrestrial Pokemon living in the caverns deep beneath the surface of the world.
A few swamp like plants live down here, but that is about it. The Pokemon venture out into the open once in a while to try and harvest wood.

Surprise Surprise!!
You probably were not expecting me to be one of the infamous Feltons, but its true, I couldn"t resist his silly antics.~
And Pikachu"s ideas were just toooo much for me to not take part.
So here we have Felton Derps" very own home. Because of that big paycheck he receives from Nintendo, he has a chance to live in a home such as this one.
Only Derps would be able to afford those antique rocks, those well aged grass/trees (at the brink of death), a bountiful garden (though it may be growing crazy and not even planted ), a quaint stream (thats clogged with algae and doesn"t move), and much much more!
And atop his extravagant terrace, he seems to be singing his song “Copyright Infringement”. He sure has that Holiday Spirit!
Anyways, yeah, I know I shouldn"t “feed” this troll, but the situation was just too funny. He was trolling himself with the things he was writing.~
Anyways, I hope you “like” my quickly mapped house. I dislike its image a lot. It is supposed to feel crowded, cramped and unappealing.
Lets just hope his boss, Herman Herps, doesn"t come by and fire him. P:

Hello! Here is my second official 50x50 map that I have created. It is presently in my house, Char, and is under slight construction.
Once again, I am plagued with thoughts of imperfection of my mapping. I really do not like the design of this one. I feel like it doesn"t flow well.
Basically the idea I was trying to create here, was the dawn of a day. The snow begins to melt away as the light hits it. So its a mixture of snow and grass tiles. I also used it as some practice of shadows, which I was in dire need of.
I would really love some feedback on what needs to be better on this one.~

This was a commission by someone in PMU I made a week or two ago. I hope you like it.
They asked for a tropical jungle place with many flowers (Well that is what I took from it.)
I know its not my best work… hmm. I would have distributed the plant more evenly if I could go back and edit. As well as the ground error up top. ;~; ew rushed work
I tried to make the table the center of attention for the map. So it was not the map that was giving the attention, but the person you would be talking about.
You can ignore the flower spam in the bottom left hand corner, lol.

This was another request by someone, for a cloud house. It ended up being a little plain, since I wanted to keep the natural consistency of a cloud this time, and did not want anything resting on it. So there were just things poking through the cloud.
Basically there were some tall mountains under it.

This was supposed to be Flare’s Birthday house! Sadly because of the server maintenance, we had to postpone it, and then it became too late to celebrate. xD There were signs here and there, we were also going to create a dialogue for Flare as well. If you want to check the house out, the name is Ankor. Also Riche created a cake for her as well, if you would like to see that as well, it is at the house Anchor.

This was my first house after becoming staff, and because I was doing a lot of busy things since then, it is still my house, months after the promotion, lol! But if you can"t guess by the name, its themed after The Legend of Zelda"s, Kokiri Forest. o
It was a bit difficult at first when I wanted to make it more of a replica, but then I decided to give up on that, and go ahead and make it look cool with whatever tiles I had, haha.
After looking at the larger image though, I could have done a lot more shaping, I think since then I have learned a lot more about mapping. ~
Also, there are signs here and there, a secret entrance, as well as a couple warps to random places.
