Hi! I believe this suggestion was already made several years ago, but i’m going to bring it back in case it has been forgotten.
I suggest having a shortcut to the chat, this mean, when you press a set key (Say, “T” of talk) you can type without having to press the chat box. Once enter is pressed, your message is sent and you can move using your character.
Why would be this useful? Because sometimes, while you are in a dungeon, it’s get kinda annoying to battle and chat at the same time having to be clicking the screen all the time. It may also be useful for people using laptops, since we usually don’t use a mouse and normally pads are less sensitive than a mouse.
Anyway, i hope you guys consider to add this in-game! Thank you for reading!
A minor inconvenience depending to who I guess. I honestly feel the GUI is not user friendly sometimes, sometimes it’s also hard to type in textboxes, and you can’t even erase a letter without having to start all over again.
I know that there are TONS of stuff that have to be worked on, but I’d recommend to not let this issues stand by, 'cause a lot of content has been added in-game in the past years, but I still see some things regarding the User interface that are still working weirdly.
Just.a thought! Also, tab is a good idea, too, since it’s not in use, enter, in the other hand, is used to pick items up and the such so it won’t fit the purpose, I guess.
