I think, there should be a item that makes Ghost Types unable to walk in walls. Not only is it annoying, it lowers the said Ghost Type’s belly very quickly. And, since Pokemon faint on an empty belly, it makes it hard to run with Ghost Types.
I would really love an item that made Ghost Types unable to go in walls so I could use my Froslass without dieing in 20 seconds. D;
Well, pmd games were turn based and the game gave a short break everytime you tried walking in the walls, making it harder to do it acidentally. I think the best would be so you have to press an button in a special manner to enter the walls.
You know an easier solution would be to simply have a special key that triggers mobility on any Pokemon that can walk through walls, and walk over special terrain like water, or fire. I mean there’s times when I’m a Gyarados and I don’t want to walk on the water in Sauna Cavern because it’s boiling hot, so this would actually be something I would support. But instead of focusing on one particular type of Pokemon, it would be for anything with special mobility. That being said, there would also have to be a slight update to the games GUI as you would need something on the screen indicating that you have disabled your special mobility.
Though I do agree with the idea, you have to realise that there are advantages and disadvantages of having ghost type Pokemon.
Advantages:
-Escape from “monster houses”.
-Collect items from walls such as Heart Scale and Oval Stone.
-Quickly pass a floor when hunts are hosted by staff.
Disadvantages:
-You lose 5 BP per step when you walk on walls.
Advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I might have missed out some advantages/disadvantages my point was made.
Also, your not really thinking about this. just replying. think about said topic first. mkay?
Anywho,some people dislike the fact that they always have to walk when in hallways or close to walls, to avoid losing the precious belly points by going in walls. Not everyone carries 50 apples in there bag.
Aside from your rude comment (the usual), I think it’s you that “isn’t really thinking about this”. I did say I somewhat liked this suggestion, and it has been suggested before, many times. Ghost types provide chances to pick up hidden/visible items from walls… “normal” Pokemon do not do so.
So next time, read my post before providing your own ignorant tackles. :<
Ribbon, please don’t make bluntly rude(or just rude, period) comments. I don’t want this discussion to go negative, so please refrain from such directions. Try was just stating his opinion on the matter.
