To simplify this, I will also explain how to get it. First you need the following: Stamina band, Weather changer (Ninetails, Snover/Abamasnow, Tyranitar, Politoed.) All you do is run to next floor with one of those pokemon. If the weather stays there then a Lickitung didn’t spawn (NOTE: Lickitung does NOT, I repeat, NOT spawn with honey. It only spawns when entering a new floor) If you run onto the next floor and the weather dissapears then a Lickitung has spawned, Congratulations. With this method you waste no time whatsoever, and you don’t waste money on honey that doesn’t work. Happy hunting.

Some things;
-Lickitungs can spawn when they want and with honey can too (But hardly ever), not only at start of floor.
-For any reason, they spawn more when you bring a Soothe Bell.
-Hippopotas and Hippowdon change weather too, to Sandstorm.

I recommend that you clean up the text layout, Guides need to look nice and organized. I don’t know whats up with the youtube BB code, but you should also try to get that working.

Anyways, agunimon, are you sure that soothe bell helps?
I heard it increases recruit rate by some +10 wanted to know if it’s true, can you tell me more about this…as in, do you have to equip it to the pokemon, or just have it in inventory or what?

if not too much trouble could u try doing a guide to recruit vulpix, eevee, or growlithe?

Growlithe - can be found in HT in the first floors
Vulpix - look at your topic
Eevee - In holiday caves only (None are open right now)

Urm, how frequently does one typically run into lickitung using this guide’s tactics? I’m like twenty-something runs in and nothing.

Im not really sure if this is a good strategy. Its basically just running through the dungeon and hope it spawns. There must be a more strategic way of getting lickitung to spawn such as attacking all the pokemon and waiting for it to spawn and if not move next to the next floor rather than have it based on luck like your own. But good attempt

Actually I have tried this strategy and it worked, actually a bunch if people figured it out, even before ijordan joined XD it’s basiclaly because of lickitung’s ability “cloud nine” which is also possessed by altaria and swablu, you can prove this trick in arena too, just take lickitung and see the weather will stop. SO naturally if lickitung comes on any floor it negates all weather moves.
