I have noticed two weird in-dungeon ‘mapping/scripting’ bugs.

1. A path to nowhere in Tanren Chambers/Psychic B61F.

That path shouldn"t be there, at the floor"s border.

2. NPC-Killer tiles can spawn in Snowveil Den?

Well, this is the 5th time I encounter something like this in Snowveil Den.
Let me explain what exactly happened, there was only one Onix in that room shown in the image, with no Pokemon nearby, I used Thunderbolt on it and it took 61 damage with critical hit as shown at the battle log. However, the Onix moved from its old position (lime circle) to the tile up from it (red square) and died instantly somehow.
(The “battle log” shows I wanted to use another Thunderbolt on it, but Onix died before the move even hit it, and as shown again, I didn"t get exp from that Onix.)

So, I guess there are some tiles(have kinda low spawn rate) with certain attribute that makes the tiles to kill NPCs stepping on them.

I encountered the same problem with some Spoinks and Magnetons before, and there were no Pokemon which used Discharge when any of these happened.

In addition to the bugs I found earlier above, I accidentally found some mapping mistakes near Lenile Cavern’s “LC” entrance.

This tile got some unnecessary script that does nothing, I guess it was added accidentally.

This Error relates to the Blue Water Tiles and their Animation. i even showed it to Whitewing. the chat and team status were removed

tileset error. quite self-explanatory

Tiny grotto entrance error, random white tile. The bottom right water tile is not animated properly. Also, three tiles left of the white tile, is a random block underneath the tree.

And some unnecesarry script was added to this tile. It doesn’t do anything.

There’s an additional script at…

  1. Behind The Jailbreak Entrance.

  2. At SS Entrance, go around counter-clockwise.

  3. Nothing else that I can remember.

i asked the same thing and was told it was put there for something. could be for some kind of event of perhaps its there for something else


the tile in the red box has no animation. i have also just noticed that the tiles underneath have a mismatched animation

The mapping crew is currently working on making Exbel more detailed, and appealing. While doing so, it is obvious you may find errors. If you do, please use this thread, or send a message on Skype (to Flare, Me / Erladino, Luli, Whitewing, or any other mapper available) Moreover, if you feel that a certain area (Within Exbel’s Overworld, preferably) could have better mapping, more details; mention that here too! So, yeah. Ideas are welcome~
