Hello guys. I’m making this suggestion because I find that the freeze rate of Powder Snow is ridiculously to high. It is annoying and it stops you advancing through dungeons, and kills you so much easier which is one heck of a bother.
Reasons why Powder Snow’s freezing rate should be lowered:
Because it is ridiculous and over powered with how high the freezing rate is;
Makes you faint a lot LOT easier;
Makes you almost impossible to move and advance through the dungeon;
Advantages:
Won’t be annoying;
Let us carry on with the dungeon;
Train better;
Don’t die;
Don’t get frozen after 1-2 hits of Powder Snow;
I think you should learn to use Fire-type Moves. Besides, Powder Snow is extremely weak. Let it freeze you. Thaw yourself with a Fire-type Move or bust out. It’s not that long to break off a Freeze.
I was a fire type at that time. Charmeleon. They always spam it as well, so the time you thaw out another couple will kill you.[/quote]
It should be noted that you may not have responded correctly. You said you were a Fire-type. The only thing you really need to bust out is a Fire-type attack. You’re almost guaranteed to thaw out and strike at the same time. Have a partner Heal Bell or Aromatherapy you or better yet get a TM Safeguard and teach it to one of your Pokemon so you can resist it and not get frozen. Powder Snow even has bad accuracy and power which further nerfs it’s already uselessness. You can surely deal with a bunch of Spheal and Snorunt.

Not really. Charmeleon doesn’t exactly learn good ranged moves or wide moves. And when you thaw out, another 2 more and you get frozen again. Yes, I have a fire type moves, Fire Fang, but as I said that isn’t a long ranged move. And about the TMs and Aromatherapy, I barely know any Pokemon that can learn it for starters, and i’m new so I don’t know what they even do. And even with the nerf of Powder Snow, it is still accurate enough to keep on freezing and killing me, weak or not.

Then how about I offer a hand, and show you exactly what I mean in-game, new guy? I’ve a knack for showing people the ropes.
I can’t say being Banned means anything at all. I’ve other solutions at hand. Just Private Message me where exactly you’re having trouble and one of my team members will happily be on their way.
You know, the freeze rate really isn’t that much of a problem. I have had spammers of Powder Snow in the arena and only gotten frozen once out of fifteen Powder Snow (which missed six of the times it was used). So I think that Powder Snow is already fine and does not need another nerf.
the rate isn’t the problem if its few instances. the rate is luck. and like what what said earlier, powder snow is weak so if your strong enough you can break out. if your in a dungeon and die to powder snow then you shouldn’t even be there. my Salamence is lv 70 and can survive in TC when hit and froze.
I go through Normal TC with my Cradily, Chibirisu, which is weak to Ice. I get hit by Powder Snow Castforms seven times while trying to pick up a key through lag. I got hit four times, and not frozen even once. I went down to a dangerously low HP amount, but it’s not incredibly deadly.
now I know people will be saying “its not 100%.”
This is true because the game automatically Nerfs the accuracy of some moves.
The base power of it is 40 Damage, so some pokemon get a STAB when they use it. Though I don’t know which ones do.
It should also have a 10% chance of freezing.
Now than, since the Base Power is weak, this means it would be a spammable move to you and others.
Only because the accuracy has been altered to be lower and the chance of freezing is only 10%.
