Hey guys! I just decided that I want to have over the Winter Holiday Break! This will have the basic rules and everything you need to know(Please read, because I am not repeating these rules. So please learn them).

Rules:

  1. You will need a partner in order to participate.
  2. You may use 2 pokemon PER member, so in total, a team can have 4 pokemon.
  3. If one persons pokemon faints, everyone must stop and sit until the person has switched, and when I say to continue, you may continue. If your not paying attention and ask for a redo, I am not letting it happen.
  4. Be kind to each other and do not go bragging and being rude.
  5. Items will not be allowed in this tournament.
  6. The level limit will be Levels 1-50. I will be a level 50 and make sure your are not cheating at all.
  7. If you are caught cheating / disobeying this rules, I will disqualify your team.
  8. Of course, don’t forget to have fun and good luck to all participants!
  9. If you have 2 pokemon and a healer/refresher in your party and you use that refresher/healer, the refresher/healer will count as one of your pokemon.
  10. Pokemon-Family items will be counted as equips, and are not allowed.
  11. Do not interupt other player’s matches, or your team will be disqualified.
  12. Do not chat during your matches to distract other players so they are easier targets (I believe I have seen this happen, I rather have it covered anyways).
  13. If I see one person just running and stalling but not attacking, I will warn you one time. If you repeat this action, your team will be disqualfied. No match should last 5 minutes because people are just running and wasting their opponents’ PP.
  14. Any team who has a member that is not present will unfortunetly be disqualified.
    15.This goes up until the day the tournament starts, if anyone from now on complains about rules, I will ban(if you haven’t entered the tournament yet) or disqualify you. My rules are my rules, do not complain because you got something you didn’t want.

Wobbuffet for being a trolling pokemon
Litwick for Shadow Tag

Drifloon for having too good of abilities
Drifblim for having too good of abilities
Diglett for Arena Trap
Dugtrio for Arena Trap
Magnemite for Magnet Pull
Magneton for Magnet Pull
Magnezone for Magnet Pull
Anything with Cute Charm

Banned Move List:
Stat raising moves will not be allowed. This includes Reflect and Light Screen.
Only 3 tile AOEs(like Bulldoze) will be allowed. Anything else is not allowed to be used.(THIS GOES FOR AOEs, all unbanned moves are allowed).
Present is banned due to being able to spam it at any level and get easy damage to win.
Perish Song and Future Sight are banned.
High Jump Kick and Jump Kick will not be allowed because they are very powerful moves and can be easy to counter, but most of the time you don’t dodge it.
Recovery Moves will not be allowed.
Toxic and Spore are not allowed. Sleeping moves go along with Spore, since you can just easily kill the opponent.
Protect and Detect will not be allowed.
Moves that make the opponent immobile are banned.
Weather Moves are not allowed. Neutral weather making no pokemons moves powered up.
Quick Guard and Wide Guard are not allowed.
One Hit Kill moves are not allowed.
Attract is not allowed.
Substitute is not allowed.

For the teams, I ask you guys to come up with a team name, I will post it here on the forums, with your team name and you and your partner’s name under it. I would like to try and get 16 teams, or 32 players, in this tournament. It would help if you get people to participate!

Could there be an under-experienced just for fun side-tournament for all those of us who are too lazy to train their teams? (Possibly with a 35ish level cap?)

For right now Lorne, I would like to do this tournament and not have any other side things distracting me. I still have to do brackets with how many teams I get(hopefully 16), and such. It’ll be a bit but I may do it in the future(hint hint). Its a good suggestion.

Why is it that only 3 tile aoe moves are allowed? Is there something secretly OP about moves like Tackle that causes every non3 tile aoe move to be banned?
