Get your PMU in-game team rated here!

Hi there, my in-game name is SidLuvsBBQ, and as you can see in the topic name, I made this topic for players to post their teams, and get them rated. Planned team work, too. So, here’s how I would like things to go, to keep this topic a bit organized. Levels are helpful, but not required

In-Game Name Ribbon
Pokemon:Typhlosion 37
Moves:Ember Brick break flame charge rest.

Pokemon:Floatzel 36
Moves:surf rest aqua jet ice fang

Pokemon:Mamoswine 35
Moves: powder snow icy wind rest mud bomb.

planned to be either zangoose or ursaring. which should i pick?

I like your team. On typhlo, When you can get it, I’d use flamethrower over ember. Same amount of PP, but more power. It does go in a straight line, though. Floatsal looks pretty good. When you can, Get Earthquake, and replace Mud Bomb with it.

Of course, this is simply what i see. Your welcome to use it, or not. :D

And on Zangoose/Ursarang, I’m not very sure. I’ll give you their level up moves and stuff, though(Go Serebii!)

Ursarang: http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/217.shtml

Zangoose: http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/335.shtml

Hope you find this post Helpful!

Ominous wind… (… heart… scaaaaale… [dies])

Ignore this… revised post on page 3

Hahaha. I think that it’s funny that no one is helping with anyone’s team.

@Sinacar: Your team is pretty good, for Leafeon, I would go for Razor Leaf, and Energy Ball for temp. and when you get Solarbeam, switch it.

@MasterDusk: The team you compiled is good, Bronzong is a good Pokemon overall, and Salamence is a pseudo-legendary(False-Legendary) Pokemon which is GREAT. xD Gengar is a good Pokemon, but the only flaw is, controlling the walk-through-walls. Infernape, you should put Sunny Day, for Flamethrower and Solarbeam, or put Rest if you just want to heal/status-heal your pokemon.

Welp. Here’s my team:

Quagsire(Leader):
Moves-
Surf
Earthquake
Mud Bomb
Rest

Shuckle(Tank;Second Pokemon):
Moves-
Struggle Bug
Withdraw
Rollout
Wrap

Glaceon(Third Pokemon):
Moves-
Rest
Quick Attack
Icy Wind
Bite

Graveler(Fourth Pokemon[Need Link Cable to evolve to Golem]):
Moves-
Rock Blast
Rock Throw
Rock Smash
Magnitude/Earthquake(When I get it)

How’s the team? Any comments/criticism/tips for me?

ya, thas why i didn’t put froslass in here. x-x

…anyway… i dunt know much about teams here. but…
i like et! XD

i would help you evo your gravler but i cant find my link cable…i got it like 2 months before the roll back soo…huh.

anyway. @sinacar. good team, castform isnt the BEST choice but its good.

@dausk good team. might wanna try to give infernape a…uh…fissure band i think its called? reduces damage from ground moves.

hey, leafeon isn’t the best either… XD

that, and, real trainers win with their favorites, not the best… XD

Since the team i have at the moment ish what i don’t like, this is what i would be having once numel and gligar is released.

@Napo i like it. for ur camerupt you should have solarbeam but only for the type variety. but thats my opinion. pick whatever you want

nice choice of moves for politoad and nidoking

and for gliscor, u-turn isn’t exactly the best move to have here.

@Rawly, nice start. hope ur team works out

Quilava ~ level 67.
-Flamethrower
-Lava Plume
-Eruption
-Extrasensory

Manectric ~ level 46
-Flamethrower
-Bite
-Spark
-Discharge

Togekiss ~ level 44
-Air Slash
-Aura Sphere
-Wish
-Rest

I already know what you’re gonna say. But eh. Go ahead. shrug

note to self: make floatzel dandy proof (i still remember your manectric murdering my floatzy)

good team anyway.

@Dandy I like your team. Looks good moves and type-wise.

Someone wanna rate my team? :D

ArtMax

Charizard Lv.100
Flamethrower
Air Slash
Dragon Rush
SolarBeam

Sceptile Lv.70
Energy Ball
Dragonbreath (Planning to get, it’s Quick Attack at the moment)
Razor Wind (Planning to get, it’s Night Slash at the moment)
Synthesis (Planning to get, it’s Mega Drain at the moment)

Temporary members (Going to put them in alternative usage when I get other Pokemon I’m planning to get, trainined them at the moment as well):

Milotic Lv.38
Hydro Pump (Probably going to replace with Water Pulse for accuracy and PP)
Ice Beam (Need to replace; sadly, the only Electric-type move Milotic can learn is Hidden Power which doesn’t work yet and works differently in PMD)
Refresh
Recover

Steelix Lv.36
Iron Tail (Cut at the moment)
Crunch (ThunderFang at the moment)
DragonBreath
Sunny Day

Explained in a bit of detail.

Death Rose [Roserade] Lv.77:

  • Weather Ball - Great move with long range, damage on opponent depends on the weather. Downfall: Does not hit if there is a member in your party, in front of an NPC.
  • Petal Dance - 2 tile AoE, great move. Downfall: Causes confusion and if immobilized, with confusion, opponents can easily kill you.
  • Mega Drain - Better than having Giga Drain, as it has more PP. Downfall: If used on a Pokémon with Liquid Ooze, HP falls.
  • Cut : Decent move, also 1 tile AoE. Downfall: Move is not 100% accurate, so it tends to miss more than the other moves.

Temp team:

Snowman [Abomasnow] Lv.42:

  • Powder Snow : Strong, large screen covering AoE. Downfall: Misses a lot and not much PP.
  • Blizzard : Great strong move, with Snow warning applied on the room, never misses! Downfall: Just like Powder Snow, it has low PP and if there is no hail, tends to miss a lot.
  • Rock Smash : Strong move with a lot of PP. Downfall: Is not supported with STAB. [:(]
  • Ice Beam : Very strong move, also boosted by STAB. Downfall: Only 10PP.

Ninetales [Ninetales] Lv.42:

  • Heat Wave : Strong and large map covering AoE. Downfall: Tends to miss majority of the time. Also with low PP.
  • Flamethrower : Very strong, 18PP and LoS! Downfall: None identified. =]
  • Energy Ball : Great counter to water and rock types! Downfall: No stab.
  • Rest : Recovers any status and restores full HP. Downfall: 3 turns before waking up.

Nurse Joy [Happiny] Lv.40

  • Refresh : Great move! Recovers teams status’ as well as your own. Downfall: None. =]
  • Flamethrower : Great move for Happiny, with good PP and long range, probably the best choice to make is to teach it this move. Downfall: Only learns it via TM and it isn’t currently available from any dungeon.
  • Psychic : Long range move! Downfall: Low PP, only hits the Pokémon in front and no STAB.
  • Round : 3 tile AoE, 15PP and stab. Downfall: Misses a lot! Not the best choice of moves but if you have it, might as well put it to good use.

And the cows go meow, meow~~

My Current Team is…

In-Game Name
Rhyhorn (Lvl 34)
-Ice Beam
-Flamethrower
-Dragon Rush
-Bulldoze/Earthquake/Magnitude (Or Surf when i evolve)

Floatzel (Lvl 50)
-Water Gun
-Rest/Surf
-Razor Wind
-Ice Fang

??? I have a lot of other pokemon, i’m in rotation currently…
For now it’s:

Aggron (Lvl 46 or 48…can’t remember.)
-Iron Tail
-Flamethrower
-SolarBeam
-Rock Smash

Grovyle (Lvl 39)
-Brick Break
-Solar Beam
-Energy Ball
-Synthesis.

water…gun? wouldnt

surf
rest
razor wind
and ice fang

be better?

@Sapphire - I would personally prefer Rest over Synthesis. Simple reasons… Synthesis is mainly based on weather being “sunny” and unlike Rest, doesn’t heal any status’.
