Guild dungeons

just a suggestion, can we have a feature implemented where if a guildie enters your floor in any dungeon can have a pop up that asks you if you want that guildie on your floor? and if you select no it will spawn them on their own floor? Just an idea to put out there

That sounds rather unpratical?
like, what happens to the person in question you are choosing if you want them on your floor or not? are they just forced to stay on thier floor possbly in a deathly situation? or they stuck on the loading screen? what if you just don’t choose? are they stuck on there forever till wind comes and ends thier run? this has way too many griefing possabilitys.
and even then would really be fine to abruptoly end your gameplay to make you choose something? this pop up in quenstion would show every single floor of the dungeon wouldn’t it?
cause what if your running the dungeon your on floor 20 and someone in your guild reaches 20?
you say no, and he goes in another 20 then you go to 21 and after a bit so does the other guild member, so you get another prompt, which is refuse too. then you reach 22 and then your guild member reaches the stairs on floor 21 and wants to reach 22, another propt, then it happens on 23, 24, 25, 26…
saying yes would result in the same issue too, since someone would leave before the other,
what if its a big guild run? with like 20 guild members?! would have to sort trought 20 prompts…?
not to mention the game can’t store prompts either (as shown by the recruit prompt overwrithing move learning one infamous issue) so any you get while choosing one would get deleted and the guild member in question would just, have to call staff then i guess?

this suggestion has soo many holes in it it feels like you forgot this is a multupler game with real people in real time, or just didn’t care and just wanted to complain at random without thinking trought your way of fixing the issue your encountering. :eeveesad:

i understand the current system may be problematic a times, but making a problem to fix a problem isn’t a way to go about things, if this is a issue to be resolved it should be handled in a passive way where gameplay isn’t halted for any player for any reason

For big guilds, that could be extremely annoying.
A toggle for guild joins would be better instead of (potentially) dying to a random pop-up you couldn’t had predicted

The pop up has a higher chance of ruining a run than the guildie showing up in the first place.
The guildie can’t murder you. A pop up can if it shows up at the worst time.

And the bigger the guild, the higher the chance of a random pop up.

honestly, rather than having it on the floor, why not make you toggle guild meetup before you even enter the dungeon

If you select no, no guildee will be able to come to your floor.

that would run into the issue of being pointless when people want to sell shinys or want to be rescued but don’t want to deal with randomly coming across another player,
one of the reasoning i heard about wanting this feature is due to people just coming in the middle of setting up a shiny sell, which raises the concern of people griefing by killing the shiny.
and the people who don’t want to be bothered would probably want to be able to toggle meet ups after they died so they can be rescued,
essentially they want the good parts of being in a guild, without the bad parts,
what you just described is kinda just. not being a part of a guild in the first place.
being able to only choose at the start of a dungeon pretty much either means either you don’t want to be a guild or just have to live with the issues. so nothing changes?
the only difference would be that you could just have the funny guild name on top of you and not really much else? people who turn it off would just always have it off and people who want it on would just keep it on, so your just wasting people’s time by adding another prompt at the start of every dungeon for no real reason, if don’t want the guild features, just don’t be in a guild?
of corse there’s still some odd cases where that would matter like if you wanna turn it on once just to rescue someone or perform a escort, but in the majority of the cases it just dosen’t do much and would only be used by a very little minority of the players

You might want to rethink it being “unpratical” because ive not been once but twice been targetted by 2 people over the guild meet up. It is nothing but drama for people who do not like to share. I have no issues with it but some people dont with what I just witnessed. An option that allows people check wether they want people to join or not, not a pop up message
