well maybe there be a option to set which hidden power type you want for each of your pokes
It’s Hidden Power. That means it’s “hidden” in type. I disagree with this.
The idea behind hidden power in PMU is to be unpredictable. It has a variable power and type depending on a situation in exchange for being a one-tile, high PP AoE. This is made to reflect Hidden Power’s main series in-game (but not competitive) role of being something that everyone can use but not always rely on.
I suggest you take a look at Natural Gift for a move that has a similar effect, but is more easily controllable.
