Erin was furious. Not because they interrupted the fight, not because they made a mess of the area, but because she felt completely and utterly useless.
The beast picked itself up out of it’s dent in the car and heavily hovered away.
Tempus watched the beast leave from the corner of his eye. He couldn’t understand why but he could sense it’s pain. He narrowed his eyes then turned to see those closer to him.
The two dragons were in pretty bad shape. The Reshiram had a pretty nasty cut on his shoulder and it seemed to be bleeding pretty badly. The Zekrom suggested that they should move. The Dialga nodded, staring at the cut the Reshiram was trying to cover. His hand and clothes were covered with blood.
Blood…
Dialga quickly looked away from the wound and turned to Victor, who was thinking of what to do next.
“Hooow abooout…we go to try and find some other guys.” Victor said, looking up at the reddening sky. The sun was setting. They wouldn’t have much time before it got dark.
“Primal Pokemon or…”
“Others like us.” The Cacturne said in response to the Dialga.
Tempus nodded, looking up at the sky as well.
Victor turned to lead the group forward down the road and past the park, unknowingly going deeper into the residential area.

Kaiser had duller senses than the Dragonite, who was more on-edge and alert. He paid high attention to his surroundings, even in the middle of a battle, unlike Kaiser who set his full focus on his opponent. Naga quickly noticed the two girls and the man on the rooftop. The Blastoise, however, was completely oblivious.
“Naga! He’s coming your way!” He yelled after driving the Yanmega away from himself using a Hydro Pump. The Yanmega circled the attack and spun backwards to increase the distance between him and the Blastoise. He attempted to throw an AncientPower. Kaiser hadn’t noticed his slight speed increase thanks to Rery. In fact, he hadn’t noticed them at all. He jumped back and readied himself again.
Naga, having listened to Kaiser’s call, used his Ice Beam attack at the Yanmega, but it’s large eyes allowed it to see even behind it, meaning it managed to effortlessly dodge and continue to fire his attack. Kaiser was hit by the attack. It exploded on impact and sent him reeling backwards. Kaiser was still not used to the concept of dodging. Sure, he had no hefty shell to carry, but the plates on the back of his coat were still rather heavy, not to mention his cannons were hefty and heavy to drag around. Without his shell he found he was much more vulnerable and would have to get used to moving more.
He growled, getting down on one knee and lining up one of his cannons. The inside of the cannon glowed blue as it concentrated energy. He fired a football sized sphere of water towards the Yanmega. It was shot at an amazing speed and managed to connect. The Yanmega sacrificed it’s body to prevent the attack from clipping it’s delicate wings. It was shot far back into the sky by the sheet momentum of the attack. The Ogre Darner rolled mid air before breaking the cycle, diving down at an alarming speed, leaving a trail of white light. Kaiser prepared to attack again, but by time he got a lock on it, it disappeared. The Yanmega was getting faster and faster. They had to take it out soon. The bug type was travelling so fast that it was almost invisible. It appeared behind Naga, crashing into him with a Quick Attack before using U-Turn to jump around and hit him again before flying away.
The Dragonite fell backwards hitting his back once again. He was holding his stomach. He was hit in the back and the stomach. The same spot, but different sides. The pain was excruciating. The speed it had built up felt as if he had been hit by a charging Rhyhorn, which was equivalent to being hit by a speeding car.
“Naga!?” Kaiser yelled. The Yanmega growled and attempted to do the same trick against him. The Yanmega whipped around, attempting to hit the Blastoise in the back first. Kaiser, still not used to dodging, didn’t even attempt to move. The Yanmega charged forth, but collided with something much harder than skin. He crashed into the brown plating of Kaiser’s coat. The Blastoise was still pushed forward and was still hurt, but the plating left the Yanmega stunned for a split second.
Kaiser, being a quick thinker managed to whip around quickly. Unfortunately, he wasn’t good at close combat, but he was able to use the weight of the cannons to his advantage. He spun, holding the handle of his cannon with both of his hands, using it as if it was almost a sports bat. He whacked the Yanmega with the heavy cannon, forcing it through the air.
It was the perfect chance to strike, but Kaiser wasn’t fast enough to stop the spin and shoot him. Naga was still on the floor, doubled over in pain, struggling to even get on his feet.
Naga bit his lip and pushed himself up. He had managed to roll onto his knees, but it was difficult for him to stand, let alone keep his balance. He got to his feet, but stumbled to the side, leaning himself against a building to try and prepare himself again.
He crouched down, unable to carry his own weight any more. He stared at his wrist, stained with the dried blood of the Darkrai. The entire section of his coat was ruined. He laughed to himself, wondering if this was the same thing that cut the man. At first he doubted it, but since he ended up on the receiving end of his attacks he began to doubt his own judgment.
Stupid bug knocked the wind right out of me. He thought, forcing himself to breathe.

Eric had slowed down and was calmly walking down the road with the young girl following him from a few meters away.
“Why don’t you go away?” He said, a sense of annoyance in his voice.
Kiara felt fear building up in her. Here she was, in a place completely unfamiliar to her with a stranger as the sun was going down. She hugged the plush toy closer, burying her face into it, her eyes barely peering over the top of it just to see where the boy was going.
As dangerous as it could be, she’d prefer to follow this unknown boy rather than standing around in the middle of nowhere, not seeing any other people in the area at all.
They continued to walk when Kiara’s attention drifted. She shut her eyes, digging her face further into the toy when she bumped into someone. She gasped and fell backwards, looking up quickly.
“Oh, sorry. I didn’t see you there.” The blond said, bending over to help the child up.
Kiara looked up to see another young teen. This one had blond hair and looked much more friendly than the one she was following.
Kiara nodded and stood up, dusting off the dirt on her dress. “T-thank you.”
The boy knelt down to her height. “Hi, are you alright? You look lost.”
“Uhh.” Kiara held the toy tighter, looking for comfort from it.
“My name is Maxwell.” He said, holding out his hand.
“H-hello.” She said, shaking his hand. She was extremely confused at what to do now. Should she reply with her name too? Her aunt told her not to talk to strangers though, but was this alright if he wasn’t an adult?
Maxwell just smiled, he was interested in the girl and would like to know her name, but she didn’t tell him what it was. Then again, Max probably wouldn’t give his name if he was in her position either.
“Are you alright?” He said, trying to be as friendly as he could. He didn’t want to seem threatening to her.
Axel came up behind Maxwell with his sword resting on his shoulder. “What are you doing Max?”
Max waved a hand signalling for Alex to go shut up.
The Zoroark looked to the child but quickly looked away after accidentally making eye contact.
“Maybe we should go, brother?” Virgil said. He had significantly calmed down after spending some time with his relative. “We can leave the Pikachu to do what he wants now.”
“No.” The Zoroark in a sharp, blunt manner. His word was absolute on this matter.
The Serperior gave a disappointed sigh, waiting for the Pikachu to hurry up so they could leave.
“…The sky sure is nice, isn’t it brother.”
The Zoroark looked up slightly as the orange sky started to dim, making way for night. “Yeah…”
The little girl sniffed, it got very cold very quickly and she wasn’t really dressed for the weather. The morning had been warm. She could imagine her aunt freaking out and worrying about her absence. She hoped her mother wasn’t called. As much as she’d love to see her mum, she didn’t want to worry anyone in her family.
“I-I don’t know where I am…” She replied quietly.
Max felt his heart sink. He felt for the girl but he wasn’t sure what to do. “Aww, come here.” He said, giving her a hug.
She hugged him, but kept a tight hold on her plush still. Max let go of the child then stood up. “Do you know your address?”
Little Kiara shook her head. “No.” She said, her voice wavering.
“Do you know the name of the street your house is on?” He said, holding her hand.
Eric had stopped the moment he noticed the girl stop following him. Erin still hadn’t returned, but he knew she would be fine. However, he couldn’t help but stand and watch while Max tried to comfort the child. He watched, his eye reflecting the orange light from under his hood.
“She lives near Alder Road.”
Max turned quickly, not having seen the boy before. “Oh, thanks. Do you know where that is?”
Eric pointed further down back from where he had came. “It’s pretty much straight down. It’s about an hour away though.”
He turned to the girl and smiled. “Oh, well we better get going then.”
He turned back towards the other boy in peculiar clothes. “Thanks for the help.” Maxwell wasn’t an ordinary Pikachu. He was once a human. He did admit the boy looked a little bit shady and his clothes looked somewhat strange, but he wasn’t sure what state fashion was in since he had left the world for quite a few years. He nodded back to the boy then walked the way Eric had pointed them, to try and find the girls home.
