Improving the use of ghost types

I have a few ghost pokemon in my team but unfortunately i find it very hard to use them in caves. You have to move slowly in order to keep out of walls and not waste belly. In order to solve this problem i was hoping that if you go in walls, instead of wasting belly, waste health instead. Like you would if you are poisoned or something like that. Another reason to why i want to change it is that sometimes when There is lag without doing /refresh you could be moving in walls when in fact you are not as it appears on screen. If this problem happens it will waste belly and you wouldnt know about it until you get the message saying your hungry so it becomes useless to use that ghost pokemon and you would have to change poke in your party until you find an apple which is unlikely in some caves.

I feel that because the wasting of belly in walls stops a lot of people using a ghost pokemon in caves. Using ghost pokemon can be very fun and it would be even more fun if moving through walls wastes health instead of belly PLEASE.

By cutting out the belly it makes it easier to use ghost pokemon as it is easiest to regain health that belly

Imagine, if you ru. Out of belly and there are hardly any apples around its useless to use the poke anymore but if tje health runs down you can get it back by walking around outside of the walls or using sometuphing like an oran berry this will prolong the time of using a ghost pokemon. To me at the moment ghost pokemon are mainky used as a a tool and not a pokemon. E.g t get kings rock you would need to use a ghost pokemon.

Do you not reallise the irony in what you are saying?
After your belly runs out, you begin to lose health anyway.
You’re suggesting to cut out the middle man…

I agree with Dandy, and in addition, note that Belly is what’s used in PMD.

Also, note that the belly draining effect is the only thing that keeps Ghosts somewhat balanced in PMD.

What Onion said. Imagine if they didn’t. You could walk through walls without belly draining, except regularly. So yeah, without it, ghosts would be quite uber

Exactly what I was thinking when I read this. I have found so far that the game stays very true to the original titles, with some improvements. It was made to lower belly for the same reason you could use Rock Smash to dig through walls, but then become hungry as a result of using a move. And the same way if your IQ was high enough to walk through wall, it would still lower your belly, and only under extreme circumstances was it feasible to utilize the perk. Lowering belly is a good balance between discouraging you to abuse the ability to move through walls, while not outright punishing you.

yeah. it would be helpful in situations of a monster house where a wall to the next room is like 2 tiles away. but if theres a wall with like 5 tiles across it and theres a path right next to you to that room…not a good idea. it dosnt exactly go “if you go in the wall youll die.” its just like “you can go in walls. but dont do it too much.”

If you like to go through walls just take a Stamina Band and apples pretty much, full mobility comes at a price ya know.

i sugested a comand that dosent let you go on walls / watter /etc. but this sugestion is fail thank you very much
