Because my banner shop and my drawing thread are both dead. :x.x: And I think I’ve improved, so it deserves a new thread, doesn’t it? :>:D:

Aaanyway, as the title states, I’ll just be posting my art around here because I want to share it with you lovely people who give lovely criticism. Banners, avatars, banner/avatar backgrounds, drawings. Maybe other stuff (if I learn how to make other stuff, that is. owo)

So, lately I’ve been watching the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon over again. Which makes me feel like drawing one of my old (okay, not really old) OCs, Leonardo. And so I drew him three times over and this picture is the result:
I know the shading is off and all but I’m still getting the hang of how to shade around the parts that are glowing. :’:

And I made a banner out of the picture:
Yeeeah, sorry if the background’s kinda sloppy xD;; I made it in a huge rush.

You know those sparkly pink-orange-white anime lovey-dovey backgrounds? I’ve been practicing making those, since I feel that the one I made for Sharky was kinda sloppy owo;; Here you are:
I’m quite proud of it. Do you like it? :joy:

Oh, and y’know how Erlade makes those cute little things he calls “Userbars”? I tried making one of those and this is the result:
I still need a lot of practice with making userbars, I think. ^^;;

There was a banner and an avatar I made to go along with the userbar. I was originally intending to use them, but Phoenix/Orca took over the world. Anyway, here they are:

So, I’ve been playing around with some effects in the program I use to make banners. Here are some banners I made with said effects:

Anyways, I really like the pink/orange/white sparkly background. I’ve never exactly seen one but it looks really good! Do you by any chance take requests?

Have you tried playing around with brushes?

xD Yeah, I’ve been using the Clouds thing. I don’t think that the program has brushes, though owo;; (at least, not besides the “paintbrush” tool where you get to choose the brush size and then draw lines on the canvas. No special brush shapes or anything.)

Do any of you remember Agunimon’s banner project, where she tried to make a banner for each Pokemon using the official art? Well, with her permission, I’ve gotten started on a project of my own! So far, I’ve got the Bulbasaur family:

Nice! You should finish all of the Pokémon, because i think a lot of peepz will have them. Maybe you could co-op with Agunimon, if she’s interested!

Since you’re going in order, I guess it’ll be a bit before we get to Redkips and Cradilies…But I’m excited to see the banners! Best of luck to you on this project~

Just wondering, Red, is this all banner works? I was just wondering if you would take requests with you doodles instead of banners as well. :3

How does one do a collab with banners? xD
Might be kind of tricky with the layers since - I assume - we use different programs.

…You know what, that’s a good question! xD;; Maybe we can take turns doing the banners…? I dunno. Yeah, I’m pretty sure we use different programs to make banners. owo You use Photoshop CS4, don’t you?
