Infatuation.

The way I see it, Infatuation’s an issue in Mt. Moon. I won’t say to get rid of it, bc Erlade’ll probably get mad, but that’s not the solution I want.

Why is there no item that prevents infatuation? Infatuation’s pretty OP, if you think about it. See, it immobilizes a target long after the pokemon that used attract/had Cute Charm fainted. And the sucky thing is, if you’re immobilized in an area with Pokemon that use large AoEs, like Mt. Moon with its Gabite/Garchomp, you’ll die. And you’ll probably keep dying if you revive and keep trying to kill the cute charmer/attracter.

Yes, I know about gems. But gems aren’t something everyone can get, considering that they’re 15 event tokens, and most of the time, weekly events are poorly circulated in terms of when they’ll start, or they don’t even happen. And with most events, you don’t get anything if you don’t win. {Correct me if I’m wrong, I haven’t done any events in a long while because of those reasons.}

So either implement an item that stops infatuation, or make event tokens a bit easier to get/more accessible. That’s all I want.

Thank you,
Sidi~

A cheap, easy solution. Mental Herb:

You could also try Destiny Knot. It doesn’t stop you from being infatuated, however, if the NPC manages to infatuate you, it gets infatuated as well. Or, well, you could use genderless Pokemon. :!:

During the few recent events, we’ve been trying to not only give position tokens, but also tokens for simply participating, or making it to the end. We hoped the Santa event would help give event tokens a form of balance.
