I’m trying to download the PMU Client on another laptop, but it gets stuck on ‘Updating component registration…’
Anyone know how to fix it?
Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Frameworks. (Google “Microsoft Frameworks” if you’re interested.)
If not, make sure to check “Install as Portable Application”. (Dunno about this one, but try it if the first doesn’t work.)
I had the same issue, even after updating microsoft frameworks to the latest (4.8.1).
However, i could force shutdown the installer at the task manager and successfully load the launcher client and play, seems like the installation went well enough and got stuck at the last and superficial step.
