just some thoughts

hi people of pmu! after a few months hiatus i came back to pmu. i got really busy with uni projects on camp. i think there’s still things that are persistent since i left and ill be talking about those here

more training dungeons levelled 30 to 50
there arent many training dungeons for these levels. at least i really struggled around these levels. most people only prefer skylift or TC early floors and gold dojo but even they get so boring after a good number of runs. what i mean to say is that there are so many unneeded early dungeons like island garden, happiness lake, seaside lake cavern, happiness lake for level 10-20 but all players can cross those borders in a few minutes and the actual struggle during level 40ish have so limited dungeon options. i think a few more dungeons of different typing can solve this

events and announcements
nothing huge but i would like to get an email if there was an event going on. sometimes its easy to forget the forums exist.

yeah, mount skylift gets really, really dull after the 5th time you do it so more levelling dungeons for a variety of types would probably rectify that.

events and stuff aren’t really big enough to be put in an email, plus the staff team is pitifully small compared to the playerbase and they’d probably forgot to email 95% of the players

i thought thats the reason why wtd was made
heres some hipster dungeons you can try:cresent islet, tanren mansion/mines,honeydrop,beach bunker, winden forest, snowviel den and southern sea

I see your point but there is way more then just skylift… I have not trained skylift since like PMU 6 :joy: (better options)

Personally, I think Skylift is pretty boring after a while, I will agree with that, and every time I ask to train level 30-50 people say Skylift and ya know it’s boring, but I would really love new dungeons for these levels.

There’s not much staff on PMU, so it would be kinda hard to email that much players if an event is going on, so I disagree with this idea.

There’s y’alls solutions - the reason everyone says skylift, however, is because while there are alternatives from 20-40 (beach bunker, honeydrop meadow, winden forest) skylift is the only one to give decent exp at low floors, that is, you’d have to speedrun more floors of HDM to reach the grinding point than you would skylifts 10 floors before reaching the rgidning point (11f+) or because there are relatively few floors on which level grinding is decent (winden forest).
Beach Bunker has niether of those things, really, so if you want a low alternative to skylift then do beach bunker - the exp isn’t that different as far as i recall, just skylift has more floors (its better to grind on than BB for that reason imo).

As far as 40 is concerned, i think I only ever did skylift where evolution was my goal and it was at lv41-42 (1 additional run)…because honestly, at that point SD/snowviel den and SS/southern sea are sooo much faster, and now WTD is even here as another alternative, AND at level 40 you can also run RS, and you also have low floors of Tanren Chambers, and Tanren Mines + Cresecent Islet with large AoEs (discharge, surf, EQ, heat wave etc) are gold mines of exp with their cramped rooms albeit for more risk.

If anything, 20-50, the levels skyift suits, is one of THE most filled level range in the game, no other level range has near as much choice. (60-70 was always the bane of my existance since that’s a range devoted almost entirely to suicide running 70+ leveled dungeons (because not everyone is a pro xD), as well as 20-25 where exp all wasn’t an option since that level range is suicide runs of skylift)

Kinda for 20s and 30s. Not sure if I agree for 40s. Though that doesn’t necessarily mean we should get more 40s dungeons.

Poor Loch Lenile, people forget that place for training 40s. I guess skylift is just too rewarding in many ways. And you don’t need rock smash there.

There’s Southern Sea, Beach Bunker, Crescent Islet, Mount Barricade, Crystal Ruins/Castle, and Tanren Training Dojo. Just that most of these dungeons are farther away, they aren’t thought of as much, and players just don’t run them that often.
