[ul][li]Uses SDL instead of DirectX to render the graphics. Because of this, we are able to port the map editor to run on Mac and Linux, as well as Windows[/li]
[li] Everything has been rearranged[/li]
[li] Allows for taking full screenshots of the map[/li]

Updated to Map Editor 2.2.
Hm… Yes well I get an error stating "Map Editor has stopped working."This is just after the loading page comes up. Is there anything I can do to fix that? I had a similar problem trying to use PMU on this computer for a while… I think my current project would deffinately benifit with an update. I have tried downloading the other file as well.
ok, i ran that, then i downloaded the windows thing and it still wont finish, and the map editor loading screen doesnt finish loading, in fact it stays in the center of my screen so i cant see anything there @_@
Thanks again Pika! Its really useful for my Sky Island idea to finally be able to come to reality with the sky tower set.
I hope you keep making improvements and adding new tiles so the dungeons get Uber Awesome!
uhm i dont know whats wrong but if i click something with a black background on the map editor (you know the ones that if you put it on the map the whole square will get black and its really uly and annoying) it will then not respond O.O
oh! and when i try and put a tile down where its highlighted it will give me the wrong tile (maybe becuase everything got moved) and its really weird and i cant map anything until its better :(

Does that happen when you load the map for re-editting?
That happens in-gmae. You just need to select a different tileset, and then switch back.

This is what I get when I was loading Map Editor 2.2
