There are many ways to boost and multiply damage in PMD Sky. I thought to myself, “Using the damage formula, what’s the most damage you can ever do in this game?”
After thinking of the many ways to stack together multipliers in a single attack, I decided the most damage would come out of staging a Charizard using Blast Burn on a Paras.
As the one ultimate attack to factor in every aspect of the game’s damage formula, I made sure to take into account every detail…
The charizard I trained, I nicknamed Roy (because Roy h4z t3h ph1r3!!1!!1)
The paras was to be a random unsuspecting paras found in Apple Woods.
~Roy was raised to level 100.
~Roy’s SpAtk was raised to 255, the maximum for a stat in the game.
~The swap items that raised SpAtk (Char-Fang, Charme-Fang, Chariz-Fang, Fire Heart, Charme-Crest, Chariz-Seal, ~Fire Dust, Sky Dust, and Red Silk) were all gathered, raising Roy’s SpAtk to 60 points above the max (total 315).
~Roy’s Blast Burn was boosted by many, many Ginsengs, bringing it up to the maximum of Blast Burn+99.
~Roy was made to learn the IQ skill Erratic Player, which would increase the damage done by super-effective hits.
~Roy was made to continue walking about Apple Woods until it HP dropped down to critical due to hunger. At this point, Blaze would be activated.
~Lockon specs were equipped, and 10 Doom Seeds were thrown at the paras, dropping target down to level 1.
~With Lockon Specs equipped, a Vile Seed was thrown at the paras, which dropped its SpDef to the lowest stat stage possible.
~Roy was made to eat a Violent Seed, increasing its SpAtk to the highest stat stage possible.
~A Sunny Orb was used, to boost the power of Fire attacks.
~An All-Hit Orb was used, to make sure the hit was critical.
~Roy was then made to hold a Space Globe, which boosted the power of moves in general.
When the attack was made, there were also the factors of STAB, Fire’s super-effective against Grass, Fire’s second super-effective against Bug, Paras’s Dry Skin, as well as the strange and game-breaking fact that Blast Burn automatically doubles its own damage.
The result?
34959 damage; I couldn’t even read the whole number when it appeared above paras’s head!
