Hello,
Is there a chance I could change one of my in-game character names? If so, could one of the staff message me.

I don’t mean on the client, I mean if a staff member could edit my account file on the server

Again, you can’t change that either.

Accounts/characters are all set in stone. If you insist on changing your account/character’s names, you’ll just have to make a new one.
Reason:
This is an elementary reason and still holds true. If one person gets something, everyone will want something too, and being we have about 80+ on a day and with 150+ in our player base, it’ll be too much for the admins to do. Because they are already working on other things.

I agree with your point about; lots of people wanting to change their name,

however, I believe, account and characters names, Can be changed on the server.
Although, there is a chance of it corrupting that account forever…

As everyone else here posted factual information that support against the idea, we cannot change your name into consideration. We all have to be treated equally. And name changing one person would break that equality. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

On another note, IF this was ever to have been approved for a name change, it would be much rather tedious as one little thing could mess up your account data/info which isn’t the type of stress the staff would like. (Specifically the Programmers.)
