I"m pretty sure that this won"t work, but it"s worth a try, right?
I would like to request that [u]players get 1 name change per account. [/u]

[spoilerWhy I think a Name Change for me, is appropriate.:p28q0ulc]There are a few reasons as to why I believe a name change would be a good idea. Point 1: “bloodthirst” isn"t a very appropriate name for PMU. I believe that it"s more inappropriate, than appropriate. Point 2: I have a quite a few things on my account that I would like not to lose. Point 3: Other players may complain, pose as me, or whatever. I will just tell them to stop. I"m not really that much of an influence on people, anywho.

I believe name changes could also be a good idea, for a few reasons.

  1. People could have made their account a while ago, like me, and matured quite a bit. For example, superswampert45 dislikes his name and finds it “cringey”.
  2. Some people have high levels on their accounts, and don"t want to lose them, so without starting again, there is no chance this could be possible.

I believe that, with this name changing, there could be some form of payment required. I.E. 1 million (or more) poke.

I personally agree, and think that a name change feature would be a very nice thing to have.

hmm… i like the idea.~ despite the fact i"m still pretty new to PMU, i think this idea will be pretty good and useful to a lot of people who want there name changed. however, i"m a little muddled of how the system will work without admin help. at the moment, isn"t that the only way?~ but on the other hand, great idea.~

As much as I want this to happen, Reason #3 is why I believe the staff team may not implement this. Trolling and impersonating someone I think stops the staff team.

I agree with this. While I personally don’t need a name change, I do think that allowing a player to do this is an important feature. What, that can be essentially eliminated by setting a prohibitively high price, such as 1 million poke. Not too many people will spend (or be able to spend) 1 million poke, I would think, just to troll or impersonate.

A high price also gears the feature more towards older players who are sure that they want a name change, and also acts as a gold sink to fight inflation.
