“You sure got here quickly.” Shock said. “Pikachu and Marill should be right behind then. Oh, and I see you decided to bring Chah after all.” She looked back at the mountain. Then she heard Mystery’s voice calling to her. She closed her eyes.

“You can’t go in there.” Mystery said. “You shouldn’t have come here…”
Why not? Shock asked.
“Beyond this forcefield…”
Another one? Shock asked.
“Is a place no living being shall ever live.” Mystery said.
What… is it? If no living being lives there, then what is it? Shock asked.
“A Barrier. A Barrier never to be broken between two special dimensions.”
Two… dimensions? Like what? Shock asked.
“I will not tell you where this portal leads. But it is a very strong barrier that cannot be broken unless it’s by the one who casted it. Not even a legendary Pokemon is allowed in.” Destiny said.
Then… how do we get the stone? Shock asked.
“You must survive the night. If you survive, then the stone will appear, but you must fight for it.” Mystery said.
I see. So a non-living being can pass through the shield? Shock asked.
Mystery stayed quiet a few moments before answering. “There are three special beings who can pass through the shield. One is the one who cast this shield, one is the being in charge of the stones, and the last is an assistant to the being in charge of the stones.”
I can see why you hesitated to answer that. Shock said.
“I won’t tell you who to look for… but I will tell you that one of these three beings is a Pichu.”
A Pichu? Really? Shock asked.
“In a way, that is correct. I won’t tell you anymore. The answers will come if you wait patiently.” Mystery said.

Shock opened her eyes again. “Hey, you see Xyris and Akaro over there? They’re sleeping next to some sort of tablet. Can any of you read what it says?” Shock asked towards Deadroth, Serenity, or Chah. Maybe asking Chah will lead me to one of his sarcastic remarks. Like the one he made about flying. Shock thought.

OOC: Um, I’m not really sure what’s going on with Serena, Darien, and Rini. Where are they exactly? And is Rini anywhere near Akaro and Xyris? (Well, If not, I can’t see how they fell asleep…) Also, when you say ‘crystals’ Are you talking about something completely unrelated to the stones?

MoreOOC: You know, this is the reason why I think we should chat about this roleplay somewhere… (Like the group I made on MSN, “Roleplaying”) Because we don’t seem to exactly get what the other person is saying sometimes. I’ve been corrected by Wolfy, Candro (most), and Karai a few times in this roleplay already. I have a way to chat with them, Karai being on Google Talk, and Candro and Wolfy being on MSN Messenger. But Sinacar makes up for it by posting a lot and being online a lot. But I’m not really sure when Celebishine is online, so I actually know less about her characters than anyone elses. So I think we should make a chat for it… (Or join the one already made)

OOC: If you pay close attention, then you can get it. As for why Xyris and Akaro fell asleep, Rini was close enough to see them before. And if they just went to the other side of the mountain, I figured that they’d be close enough to hear her song. As to the crystal thing, well, the stones do give off a shine. And, if you’ve ever watched or read Sailor Moon, well, they always seem to be after ‘Crystals’. :P

Pikachu and Marill were close enough to see the mountain in the distance now.
" We’re still kinda far off," Pikachu said. " I saw the Dragonair zoom past us a while back."
" Well, this is as fast as we can go like thisl," Marill pointed out.
" I know!," Pikachu said. " That speed spell I used on you earlier!"
" Pikachu, don’t you da…"
It was too late. " Fated hand of the Spirits! Blessing of Speed!," Pikachu called as he hit Marill hard in the middle of the back again. Then, as the Aqua-mouse began to zoom forward, Pikachu grabbed onto his tail.
" PIKACHU!," Marill yelled. “Remember the PROBLEM we had with this earlier!!!”
" Oh yea," Pikachu said. " Well, I don’t know how to fix that!"
" Think of something!," Marill yelled as they came closer and closer to the mountain. " PIKACHUU!"
" Aim downward!," Pikachu commanded.
Marill dived downward, but was still going extreamly fast. He and Pikachu both crashed down into the snow. Marill was completly buried in it. Pikachu, didn’t have much snow on him at all. He got up and looked around. " Hey, we landed! Marill! Where’d you go?!" When he got no response, he tried agin. " Marill?"
" YOU IDIOT!," Marill roared as he jumped out of the snow. " I told you to NEVER do that again! And then WHAT DO YOU DO?! YOU DID IT AGAIN! Are you TRYING to kill me?!!"
" No," Pikachu answered. " But hey, I got us here, didn’t I?"
Marill made a low growling noise, and then calmed himself a bit. " Alright, now that we’re here, we should try to find a way in that mountain. I’m pretty sure that’s where the stone would be."
" Maybe," Pikachu said, looking around. " Seems like some of the others are here too."
" Yeah," Marill said. " They may have been here a while. Let’s take a look around the other side and see if there’s a way in."
" Right," Pikachu said. He and Marill walked around, and noticed Xyris and Akaro fast asleep near some odd pattern. " Oh crud. They’re here too?!"
" I figured they’d be," Marill said.
" So, do we attack?!," Pikachu asked.
Marill looked around. " No. That could get dangerous. As long as they’re asleep, they’re not much of a threat. Though, that thing behind them looks important. It’d also be too dangerous to just try and move them. I guess the best bet is to wait a while until they wake up. Then we can figure out something."
" But isn’t THAT dangerous too?!," Pikachu asked.
" Well, it’s the smartest option for now," Marill said.
" Don’t you remember what she did to you?!," Pikachu asked.
Marill nodded. " But there are more of us here now. It’s not just me going against her alone. Besides, I have you with me now too. You really think the two of us can lose?"
Pikachu thought about that. " Well, err…"
" It’ll be fine," Marill said. " Though, this snowstorm might cause some trouble. We could freeze out here. I’ll cast the spell that will keep us from freezing. Give me you hand."
Pikachu did as he was told. " What was that spell again?"
" Aer, aer, Kankaho.," Marill said. He and Pikachu were suddenly surrounded by an invisible force that would keep them from freezing to death in the storm.
" Now what?," Pikachu asked.
" Now, we wait," Marill answered, sitting down in the snow.
" That’s it?"
" Yup."
" Okay," Pikachu said, also sitting in the snow. The two of them then kept their eyes on Xyris and Akaro, waiting for them to awaken.

Since no one volunteered to go up to the two sleeping Pokemon, despite all the trouble Xyris and Akaro cause, Shock walked up past Team Pokewizard, past them, and went to read what was on the tablet.
Huh… a harsh challenge? I don’t see how hard that can be. Everything else has already been thrown at me… starting with Wonders. Shock thought. She snuck her way back to the others, waved to Pokewizard, and then came back next to Deadroth, Serenity, and Chah.
“So, uh, we’re apparently going to have to spend the night around this place and try not to freeze to death right away. If you don’t want to accept this challenge, you’re free to leave.” Shock said. Not really waiting for a response, she turned to Deadroth and said, “So, what were you saying about living here?”

“did you hear that? it sounded like yelling.” said serenity, but it sounded distant. at least, distant for a dragons sensitive (for most of them.) hearing.

Shock listened to what Serenity said. “I think I hear something, but what could it possibly be?” Shock asked, actually hearing Serenity for once. “Well, I don’t really think it has to do with us though.” She turned back to Deadroth for a response.

OOC: Really, who’s yelling? XD. Anyways, It doesn’t seem like Shock is at all worried about the weather. Also, to be clear… they are all at the same side of the mountain, right? (Not including Celebi’s characters)

" She just walked right by Xyris," Pikachu said blinking and waving back to Shock. " And she wasn’t scared either."
" Well, Xyris is asleep right now.," Marill said. " And really, does a sleeping Pikachu that’s sucking her thumb seem very threatening."
Pikachu looked at Xyris. " I guess you’re right."

“Well yea! I used to live around here!” said Deadroth to Shock. He wasn’t really sure if the others were interested. “My papa used to always tell me to never come up here. He said it was too dangerous because of all the snowstorms and blizzards that the mountain created. He also told me that something special happened here almost every night at midnight, when the snowstorm is at its strongest!”

Deadroth then looked at the surroundings again, at the mountain, and at the tablet the two weird pokemon were sleeping against. Then pointing almost opposite away from the mountain, he said “I think I used to live in a village down there somewhere. I wonder if my mama and papa are home!”

He then started dancing around again, thinking about how exciting it would be to finally be in his own home again and how his mother would be happy to see him.

Shock grinned at Deadroth’s excitement for the village. I wonder why he isn’t there right now though. “Well, we have time to spare, maybe we could check out that village of yours.” Before Shock decided to check it out, she turned around back to Serenity and Chah. “Hey Serenity, I thought you weren’t coming here with us.” Shock said.

“oh yeah. well, i thought my dad could deal without me for awhile. plus, i don’t like dragonites. and my mom… well, actually, she’s pure water type. She’s ok with me leaving for awhile. normally, it’s my dad koops me up all the time. in fact, this is my very FIRST time out of my ca- i mean house.” said Serenity.

Shock blinked at Serenity. “Wait, were you about to say Cage?” She asked her.

“no.” said serenity, hopeing no one knew what she almost said.

Shock thought about her home for a moment. I live right out in the open… In a meadow. I don’t really live in a house. Well, Rocket and Wonders are a bit different. They live in houses though. And then Mark… I actually don’t know where he lives surprisingly. I wonder why I never checked… Shock thought.
“So, were you about to say cave then?” Shock asked, thinking it was the only other place she would say.

“no, but i don’t blame you for thinking that I would live in a cave. after all, as my dad said, ‘most dragons live in caves.’ I live in a place in witch, as i know of, ONLY has dragon type pokemon. in fact, you and the other pokemon on this journey, and the pokemon on the island this one and the one we where just at, witch i live above, are the only non-dragon or cross-dragon types that i have met. besides my mom, anyway.” said serenity.

“ok go ahead.” said Serenity, glad shock hadn’t guessed her home. big… bricky thing. in the sky. commonly used in adventure games or roleplaying games, her father had told her. while her mother was glad that her daughter wasn’t going to evolve, with the present she had bestowed on her. AKA and everstone. but anyway… I forgot what i was gonna think. lol.

OOC: I cannot remember what this bricky thing in the sky is… gets reminded of New Super Mario Bros Wii. But it’s in the sky right? Let me think of Jack and the Beanstock… when he got into the clouds, what was the giant’s home? A camp? No… I think it was a castle… OOHHHH! It’s a castle! DUHHHHH. You could have put a Bowser’s reference on me and I would have gotten it right away… But are castles really commonly used in roleplays? I had no idea.
