Okay, so I was talking to a bunch of players on Chatnago and they said that they were lvl100 on PMU6 and ever since they came on PMU7 they lost their spirit to train…everything they had was lost…

And I’m wondering the same thing…I mean what If I get to lvl 100 then…
there’s PMU8 :/
That would be really sad…

Yea many people lost their levels, but pmu6 was way too easy and different then PMU7.
Recruiting pokemon was much easier too and so were the dungeons.
I dont think that pmu8 ever comes…
I think that pmu7 will be just updating and maybe adding new worlds like exbel and winden.
So dont worry if pmu8 will be coming the announcement will be at liest 3 months earlier

I asked this to staff when I was a little nub, and Kirk said “There will be no PMU 8.”
Well, that is a good thing to all the players I think. :joy:

mmhm, plus there was no pmu1 or pmu2 or pm3,(not proper ones) they were basically beta versions of it I guess, and plus, staff will ahve to work ALOT for PMU8, though its never going to come XD

I am certain that there will be NO PMU 8. PMU has advanced far enough, and I believe there will be no major problems with the new engine.

I don’t see any reason to make a new version anyways.

When the change from PMU6 to PMU7 was occurring, the staff stated that the loss of accounts was because they were changing from Eclipse(a game engine) to their own engine which would allow them to add more content to the game. Another engine change will most likely not happen so don’t worry about it.

Hey, wiping the slate clean gave them more opportunity to enjoy the game all over again. They might have turned it down, but still~! Optimism! :3

I asked several staff members, they all said there wont be one, nothing to worry about~

Even if PMU 8 were to come out all the server files (Maps, accounts etc.) could be copied into the new server.
The only reason everyone lost their accounts from PMU 6 was because they converted from the Eclipse MMO Engine to their own that is written in a different programming language.

They don’t need a PMU8.

So they won’t make a PMU8.
