Pokemon Battle Royale [Sign-Up]

To whom it may concern,
You have been invited to a participate in the world’s first Pokemon Battle Royale.
You and over 70 other people from around the world have been given the Longitude and Latitude of Corridor Island, where the Royale is said to take place.
In this package, i have included the following:

  • A Map of Corridor Island
  • A Ferry ticket
  • A Gauntlet with 6 star-chips, the use for these will be explained later in the letter.
  • $200 of spending money for souvenirs and what-not.
    There are however, a few rules you have to oblige.
  • Practice battles are allowed, but not right before you’re next battle.
  • You are NOT allowed to leave the Island, in any circumstances.
  • Once you lose all 6 star-chips, you are to go immediately to the dock and board home, meaning you cannot come back.

Right, there are some “fourth-wall” rules you’ll have to follow.

  • No god modding. So like, making your Pokemon dodge EVERY attack the foe throws at you.
  • Preferably no text talking.
  • Relationships are allowed, but keep it PG-13
  • Do not flame other users, yes your role-play characters ARE allowed to bicker.
  • Make sure you have a full team of six Pokemon, but NO legendaries or Psuedo-Legendaries (Like Latios/Latias)
  • Minimum of three sentences per-post
  • Maximum 4 moves per Pokemon.
    -If you have read the rules, please post a sentence about Thyphlosions! :3

You do know Pseudo-Legendaries are Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Salamence, Garchomp and Hydreigon right?
They’re called Pseudo-Legendaries because they are non-legends with high stats.
(Why am I reminded of a certain Anime involving monsters and duels?)

I’m not a BIG fan of Typhlosions, but I do like them. I have a shiny female named Ignis. Love her to bits, but not a big fan stats/move wise.

Personality: Quiet, aggresive, violent and persisting. She follows others as she is needy and dependent.
History: Her mother is mentally unstable and a danger to her. Her father died in a work accident. He fell off a ladder and broke his skull in the fall. The shards of bone damaged his brain and he died on the way to the hospital.
She finds this humiliating as she was bullied for it, especially her Mother who at attempts tried to both kill her, and commit suicide. She lives with her half brother (22) who wants nothing more than to protect her. He spoils her, although she does not accept it. She never talks in another’s presence, she is scared of scaring others away. She’d never wish harmful fate on anyone. She keeps a diary in which she stores her feelings. She has violent outbursts from time to time in which she can cause harm to others. This is because she inherited traces of the mental illness as well, since her mother was mad at the time of pregnancy. She is very good at playing the flute and the piano. She plays with her brother and his best friend a lot. Most of their songs are very complex however.
She got her first Pokemon when the forest near their house caught fire. She found a young Sewaddle who she made friends with. The Sewaddle had watched her parents burn to death, in a way they are very much alike.

Personality: Silent, Not Personable, Passionate, Solitary.
History: Kotetsu has some odd hobbies, and because he was teased by everyone when he was little, he has become solitary. Although he disliked company, he did find a friend in a wild Growlithe that would roam around his neighborhood. The Growlithe was starving with no food, so it went foraging with no luck. That was when both of them met, in the far schoolyard.

Kotetsu gave him a part of his chicken sandwich, and the Growlithe appreciated it so. Kotetsu is an avid Gundam fan and was very impressed with Gundam 00, and so - thus the Growlithe"s name was born. He called him Exia - the Savior.
Biography: With Exia, Kotetsu was inspired to do something with his life. He found himself top of his class in battling and set off on a journey to find new friends in Pokemon. He strayed away from Gym Challenges and his Pokemon and him trained in the wild. He became a well known figure in Vermillion City for his battling skills and even the Gym Leader challenged him, but he quietly refused. Kotetsu wanted to prove that he was capable and strong, and this is why he accepted the challenge of the Pokemon Battle Royale.
