Pokemon Mystery Dungeon : Arrival of Anarchy

Introduction

It has been many centuries after the prevention of the planet"s paralysis. The duo of legends, Serra the Eevee and Caine the Vulpix fought Primal Dialga at the top of Temporal Tower. They braved earth splitting attacks, searing claws, and leapt more great hurdles. After the battle, the flow of time was restored, and the future was saved. Treasure Town resumed its bustling routine, Bidoof continued to fail at his tasks, Loudred continued to yell, and so on. The two legends left their treasures in an unknown location and taught the generations after them. Peace and stability returned to the world of Pokemon, or, so we thought.

There have been many reports of hostile Pokemon reappearing, and more Pokemon are moving from the far reaches of the continent into Treasure Town. The Wigglytuff Guild, which has been now renamed the “Rescue Team Association” focuses their power to protect the innocent Pokemon, and fight against the Pokemon driven wild. Recent natural disasters have also unearthed ancient dungeons. Their corridors are dark and dusty, and not to mention, filled to the brim with Pokemon hungry for battle.

The continent is falling into disarray. Pokemon are fleeing their once safe villages, outlaws take advantage of the disastrous times to steal, and there are few who would lead the search to end this mess.

The other Rescue Teams have been divided to protect as many Pokemon as possible around the continent. This leaves few Pokemon protecting Treasure Town, the base of operations. We have this story, but then, there"s you.

The RTA are encouraging new members to train and take their place against this invasion of peace. Are you willing to stand up?

Raiden

Full Name: Raiden
Nickname(s): Rai
Gender: Male
Species: Shinx

Appearance: He has a scar around the base of his tail, and his right front arm is injured.
Personality: He has a shy and timid personality, afraid of most people. When he sees any Electrike or Manectric, he usually cowers in fear from what happened in his past, but when his life is threatened, or Ren"s life is, he literally snaps and goes berserk. (This also includes any of his good friends in the roleplay. )
Likes: Being with Ren, brightness, and being on ground level.
Dislikes: Nearby/With any Luxray or Manectric tribe, darkness, heights, and death.

Biography/History: Raiden was only 7 months old when the two fearsome tribes, the Luxray and Manectric tribe, clashed in a horrible battle. Raiden was far out of the battle, with some of the nursing mothers. Suddenly, a crazed Electrike bursted in, and went vicious on Raiden, causing them to go out of sight. The mothers were asleep, and were woken up when the Electrike and Raiden disappeared out of sight. They began looking for him, only to get a slight trail, which broke off. They weren"t sure if he abandoned the tribe or got killed, so they chose the more likely option, abandoning the tribe. Raiden, who was close to death"s brink, went berserk on the Electrike, killing it viciously. Ever since then, he was lost in the ever darkened forest filled with even more blood lusting pokemon.

Appearance: She’s a normal Luxray, through and through. Although, she does have a red scarf tied to her tail.

Personality: Ren’s a very outgoing and optimistic Luxray. She’s almost always laughing at something, even though it might not make any sense.
Likes: Sleeping
Dislikes: Doing menial tasks.

Biography/History: Ren was once a member of the Luxray Clan at Amp Plains, famous for their constant brawls with “trespassers” and the Manectric Clan who also claimed the plains. She felt too restrained following the orders of the Clan, so she left on her own free will to go explore the wilderness that was past their borders. The fighting between the two Clans who claimed Amp Plains as their own was at its peak as well, which was all the more reason to leave. Many from both sides were injured and the two finally ceased the battle for the future. They found it unfair for their warriors not be fighting at full strength.

These days, she’s known for her mapping skills and she works as a travelling merchant selling items from her travels. Although she’s mainly out searching for new items to sell, Ren’s in Treasure Town selling her wares and sleeping. As she travels, she also searches for a wandering relative who left after he was injured by the battles. She longs for some more company.

She’s an odd source of information, but if you need to learn about something uncommon, your best bet would be to ask her.

Biography/History: When he was young his family was savegly attacked by a pack of Larion led by an Aggron. He barely escaped into a forest, and noticed his mother´s Soothe Bell was on the ground,which is now his personal treasure .In the forest he begun helping out pokemon and trying to learn how to fight. As time passed he begun doing more and more for the forest pokemon,tending the sick,gathering food,protecting the forest from danger and more. He had a hard time finding food so he started getting used to stealing. Until one day,a forest fire started,and burnt the entire forest down.

Now a days he spends his time exploring the world and looking for treasure,although he has noticed how vicous pokemon have gotten and decided to stay at the Rescue Team Association trying to learn how to start save people (Although he has plenty experiance from when he was a Forest Child)

Wow, it’s about time there was another PMD-based roleplay here. My roleplay skills have probably depleted some since I haven’t done it in a while - but I think I might consider joining this one. Looks promising. :D

I guess I’ll take one of my older characters from last year out of retirement and see how this goes.

Full Name: Tybalt
Nickname(s): Most call him Tybalt but some might call him Ty for short.
Gender: Male
Species: Scraggy

Appearance: Pretty much looks like an ordinary scraggy. Most commonly, he wears a white scarf over his chest and torso like a sash - however, he’ll wear practically anything he finds on the ground, sometimes wearing so many scarves and accessories that he looks just plain silly.

(I might try to get a picture up of him later; I haven’t drawn or used this character in ages, so I don’t have anything up-to-date currently.)

Personality: Tybalt can be explained as selfish and greedy, particularly when it comes to items. He’s a bit of a compulsive hoarder, picking up all and any items he can find. On adventures, he’ll typically try to grab whatever he can off the ground - wrapping himself up in scarves he finds on the ground and shoving just about everything else he can find in the molted skin (aka: pants) over his legs and tail. Back in the little dwelling where he lives on his own, he keeps all the things he has hoarded over time. Currently, his living area is stuffed with so many things that he can’t even fit himself in it anymore, and has lately been in search of new living areas where he can hoard his newest collections.

Although quite greedy and OCD about his items, Tybalt is not all bad. He’ll get along fine with most pokemon, but if they do even so much as to suggest that Tybalt shares his items, he’ll get very defensive and protective of them, which sometimes may result in an argument. Tybalt does have a certain fondness and respect for female pokemon, though, and may find himself agreeing with them if their ideas sound reasonable enough (he’s been known to give up some of his precious items to kind female pokemon who had needed them at the time). His willingness to agree and respect female pokemon might cause jealously with other males, though.

In battle, he sometimes lets his big head get the best of him and races head-on into the fray (literally), usually with his headbutt attack to start. His physical attacks are quite strong for his size, though what he has in power, he lacks in speed and evasiveness and is often an easy target for a quicker opponent.

Likes: Hoarding items, treasure hunting, battling and good-natured female pokemon. He also has a fondness for rawst berries since he ate them a lot when he was younger.

Dislikes: When pokemon try to steal “his” items, when pokemon tell him he’s acting like a jerk (which he will promptly disagree to) and heights - he feels very vulnerable and useless in the air.

Biography/History: Tybalt grew up near Treeshroud Forest with two parents, a sister and a brother. Life was pretty normal for him there, gathering rawst berries and learning to battle with his family. Ever since he was a child though, his family took note of his strange habits of hoarding items and often scolding him for keeping so much of his stuff in their home. His hoarding obsessions first started when he would gather berries for later in order to have extra food to eat in the nighttime (his siblings always ate only what they could carry and ended up hungry near the hours of the evenings). Gradually, Tybalt began finding new things to hoard and would often pick up anything he could find (including useless items like sticks and thorns) in hopes that they would come in handy in the future.

When Tybalt had reached a stage of adolescence, his parents had gotten far too fed up with his compulsive hoarding habits and gave him a choice: Get rid of all the stuff he’d been hoarding or move out of their home. Tybalt could not even bear to think about giving up any of his precious items and went with the latter option. Since then, he moved away from Treeshroud Forest and moved closer to Treasure Town in a nice area near Apple Woods. He’s been making a living there on his own out of the items he hoards, and spends most of his days gathering even more stuff for himself - and training, when necessary.

However, as pokemon began to get more hostile, Tybalt has found less time for gathering items. He’s almost always trying to protect himself, his items and his home, which has made him stronger physically from the experience, but has given him less time to find fresh food to keep him stable (as everything he has gathered before hand has already gone bad). Fed up with this, Tybalt left for Treasure Town in search for some solace and a new place to settle down with all his precious items without the worry of hostile pokemon roaming about. He still has a few stashes of items back in Apple Woods, though he hid and preserved them carefully in hopes that no one there would discover them.

Appearance:
Personality: Playful, happy and energetic. Shy and quiet yet excitable. She is usually cheery but she is bullied by the other young Pokemon and even the adults. However, when taken from the comfort of her friends and family she behaves sarcastically and suffers from a temper which makes her have outbreaks of rage every now and then.
Likes: Candy, singing, sleeping.
Dislikes: The cold, getting wet, swimming, being unable to sleep.

Biography/History: Tiamat lived in a small town at the edge of the forest. All was good but unfortunately she was at a disadvantage when playing, being unable to actually see the others. Eventually she was able to hone her other abilities and was able to tell where others were, but still couldn"t see them. She was often scruffy and rough looking and the children and even adults tried to stay away from her because her parents were both powerful tyrant Pokemon who stole land from others to take advantage of the environment.

Her mother, a beautiful Arbok and her father a powerful Hydreigon. Her father lived in the mountains while Tiamat and her mother lived in a den under a hollow tree.
Tiamat was being bullied and she accidentally bit the bully when she was scared. The bully spread rumors about her being wild and crazy, saying she was evil and she would bring children back to their home to eat them.
Tiamat was mortified and was taught at home, not able to make any friends. She almost never left home until her mother left one day and never returned. She had been hunted and killed by a flock of wild Pidgeot and Pidgeotto.
Deino cried for her mother but she never returned. She developed an aggressive behavior when she was teased for being an orphan. She attacked one of the children and was believed to be turning wild, but it was part of her loss and the natural behavior of a Deino.

Her father learnt of his mate"s death and cared for Tiamat in his lair up in the mountains. He had a cold and violent personality but he cared for her, she was just blind to see it. She lived there for the next few years of her life, afraid to come down. She heard about the RTA while she was at the lake nearby. She decided to join because she felt it would prove to the world and herself she was not a pushover. She hoped she would be able to revenge her mother, but for now her main goal is to make a difference in the world and prove to her bullies they were wrong.
She wanted her father to love her like all the other children"s parents did, unfortunately he wasn"t able to see what she needed in time.

Biography/History: Helios" forest was burned down after a group of outlaw Charizard decided to make it their home. Helios" mother risked her life to save him and unfortunately died trying to fly him away from the forest. She crashed in the desert and Helios mourned over her body for 2 days before he met a young Cubone. She was in a similar situation to him, but it was a thing of the past.

The Cubone wanted revenge against the same Charizard. Helios and the Cubone went back but unfortunately the Cubone didn"t survive the battle. Helios ran away, abandoning her. He got lost in a blizzard after wandering through mountain peaks. He was taken care of by a pack of Mightyena, but they were unable to fill his needs as he was a different species completely and couldn"t deal with the temperatures well.

The Mightyena decided to move with him, treating him like a family member (in total 4 Mightyena, 1 Poochyena and 1 Larvesta). They signed up so they could have a reason to live nearby. They had to stay in the inn unable to afford housing. They used the fact they were in the RTA to get the inn keeper to allow their stay. The Mightyena proved great outlaw hunters and the Poochyena was great at finding much needed items for injured explorers, Kecleon etc… Helios didn"t know what he was good at so he decided to practice fighting. unfortunately that didn"t prove to well. He hopes to find something he is good at, or at least find something in his league.

Biography/History: Nidoran"s forest was destroyed in a forest fire. He was separated from his parents and he has no idea where they went. He cried and waited at their burnt down home for them to return. He was attacked and picked on, having all he had left stolen. He was a weakling and too afraid to fight.

He was rescued by a Lilligant named Florence, who cared for many other orphaned and lost children. She signed up for the RTA to help look after any children who were found. Ray decided to sign up too in hopes of finding his parents, but he never really knew what he was getting into.

Biography/History: Skarow was born into a family of four, being the oldest twin. However, one fateful day, his family was killed by an unknown reason. Ryuunosuke

Full Name:Ryuunosuke
Nickname(s):Ryuu.
Gender:Male
Species:Charmander

Appearance:Like a normal charmander, but he has two bright yellow eyes accompanied by the same shade of a yellow scarf.
Personality:He is also timid and shy like Raiden, but not terrified by a certain species of pokemon. He and Raiden are friends though, though nobody, not even Raiden"s own family knew, he had Ryuunosuke as a friend.
Likes:Fire, solid ground, volcanoes, loneliness.
Dislikes:Water, the sea, beaches, being crowded, earthquakes, tornadoes, storms, rainfall.

Biography/History:He was born several months before Raiden, and before the clash between the Manectric and Luxray tribe. He was near death nearly every day when he was in his first few months after he hatched, as he was all alone and had to do everything for himself, and it didn"t help that the pokemon were beginning to go out of control again. Around his second month of living, he saw the Luxray tribe settling down far away in the Amp Plains, from where he was born. Out of curiousty, never ever seeing an actual tribe with his own eyes, he ventured to the Luxrays, Luxios, and Shinxs. He took him a few days, as just still being two months old, his movement was sluggish. When he arrived there, he hid and watched the species in interest. He also experienced a Shinx be born.

The Shinx noticed Ryuunosuke, which tried to play with him. He accepted it, and soon after, they were friends. Every once in a while after that day, Ryuunosuke would meet up with Raiden in secret and play with each other, as a Charmander seen in the tribe would cause a giant uproar.

After Raiden disappeared, Ryuunosuke became lonely. He knows what happened, that he got attacked by a crazed Electrike and forced into the darkening wilderness by himself. So, he set off into the forest Raiden disappeared into, and he thus his adventure started.

Time Gear~

Full Name: Gracie and Mark(Tail)
Nickname(s): Weirdo duo(both), Grace(Gracie), Markypoo(Mark)
Gender: Female (Grace) / Male (Mark)
Species: Girafarig

Appearance: A normal Girafarig with bright green eyes. She wears a blue scarf that has a green circlish design. (Similar to Gracie from Animal Crossing.) Mark has a silverish blue eye-colour and a green spot right on the top of his head.
Personality: Gracie - Pampered from birth, she expects nothing but the best. A perfectionist at heart and designer in-person, she’s quite ‘uppity’. She’s one to either love or hate something at first sight, and one to begin to dislike -quickly- after loving. Meaning, she can be super fickle and a bit of a scatterbrain.
Mark - Quiet and shy, he is much more down to earth than Gracie. Due to his lack of words, he is often thought to be incapable of speaking, however, this is not the case. He is talkative to Gracie only when they’re alone due to their. . . close relationship.
Likes: Gracie: Relaxing, designing, ‘cute’ things. Mark: Being useful, eating
Dislikes: Gracie: Horrible designs, uncreative things, touching others. Mark: Biting like other Girafarig tails, being shy.

Biography/History: Gracie grew up in a family that had been ‘poor’. She had been considered nothing but a burden, both her and Mark. By the time she learned to walk, she’d been shoved away by her mother. Left alone in the world, Gracie learned to fend for herself, forgetting whatever family she used to have. Mark, however, still felt like a burden. He’d apologize to Gracie everyday for holding her back, despite Gracie thinking that Mark was more of an inspiration rather than a burden. The Girafarig had put her past behind her, why couldn’t her tail? How weird, she’d thought.

As Gracie and Mark remained on their own, they noticed that some Pokemon were wearing scarves, some even wore clothing! This excited the young Girafarig, because it seemed different. She’d ask where they got the clothing, but none would answer. One day, Gracie met a pair who wore matching scarves. She asked them where they’d gotten their scarves and why they wore them. “Well. . . We’re a rescue team~ We got them from our guild. A designer made them, I’d guess. Eeyup!”

Gracie’s eyes sparkled at the word ‘designer’. It sounded different. Something that’d fit her, considering she has been ‘different’ from others since her birth. When he was young, The war at his home town forced his family to leave, he got lost in the rush to leave the town.
The only thing he has to remember his parents by is his little red scarf, given to him when he was newly hatched.
To this day, he treasures that scarf among all of his other few possessions, and he is desperately trying anything in his power to find his parents. His parents are presumed dead to many, but this doesn"t get in his way.

Biography/History: As a child, Balthier was always fun-loving, and easily envied his friends by the fact that he could stay on land by flapping his wings. He always makes friends with the weird misunderstood ones, and that"s why he made friends with Balthier. Fun-loving as he is, he is easily angry, though his angriness is quite cute. He was always curious of the outside world, and decided to venture off, now he wanted to do more dangerous adventures, and when he had saw RTA, he thought of entering. Sometimes, when he flaps his wings, he accidentally flaps to fast and usually floats to the wind. As a child he was commonly the one who dared to much, eventually getting into trouble, a mistake he does up "till now. Though, Rally always will find a way to stop him from doing anything to stupid. Stupid as he is, he can understand patterns easily, and finish puzzles in a jiff, though, it would usually take him a while. When it comes to ladies, he stutters, and teeters.

Biography/History:A loner, and beast, his easy annoyance caused him to be a loner. Though he was able to find hope with Balthier. A machine from “RTA” allows him to drink water trough his gills, recycle that, and allow him levitation.Even though he usually keeps to himself, he is known for the fact that if he sees a single person in danger, he will protect him, even if it means killing him. His father, a Lanturn, was never the kind to easily please, he went trough a life of solitude for the same reason. He is still searching for the life, the happiness inside of his heart, he just waits, someday… That"s why he was “forced” (he usually says that) by Balthier to join. He is completely calm around women, but hate the company of most Men “Some are too stupid and have no etiquette…” He usually says.

Appearance: A feminine looking Spearow with a small, golden bracelet-like marked by an unknown tribe (more like a four-sided star like a shinx"s tail) in her left foot.

Personality: Rash, prideful, impatient, and very sensitive about her emotions but also brave, cautious, and kind-hearted.

Likes: Being praised because of her speed, someone supports (or helps) her at the middle of a very hard battle, likes also to perch on much larger pokemon"s back (or head), and loves to sleep heavily on breaks.

Dislikes: Being hit by an electric type moves (Duh), beaten in one hit, also dislikes if someone hurts her feeling. (Short term: Very Sensitive), cheri berries, and doesn"t like cold weather or places.

Biography/History:
She was hatched as an egg in an deep, dark grotto in the far mountains, she trained all by her self, she had friends, who left her to freeze in a tundra regions(Blizzard Island, maybe?) because she is very sensitive of her emotions and being so impatient, which her friends doesn"t like that personality about her.
While she was wandering lost around in the tundra regions, she grew weaker and weaker as the time goes by, and she"d given all up hope and became unconscious in the snow, that where Rath (the Eevee) came in and saved her from the blizzard. He brought her to a cave, some time, she recovered from her unconsciousness and met Rath, who she agreed to join his rescue team.

When he was a little, he have big dreams, he lives in with a terrible family, since he was very weak before, he was constantly being yelled at all the time, when he told his family about his dreams, being a part of the pokemon rescue team, his family told him not to because he can"t do any help, they told him he"s not cut out of the job and he"s weak, that"s when his heart"s overtaken by sadness and agony, he left his family to explore newer worlds and to forget his terrible past…

While in his adventures in the tundra, he met Fieria, who was lying unconsciously in the blizzard. He rescued Fieria and brought her to a cave, which then she recovered some time, he told her(Fieria) that he was going to Treasure Town to create his own official Rescue Team, which he forced Fieria to join his team, which Fieria agreed to, and they both set towards to Treasure Town.

Personality: Morty is a big hearted Stoutland. He’s determined and ready to jump any hurdle that stands between him and his goals. He would selflessly devote himself to the Pokemon he promised to trust, and he certainly does a good job of it.

Biography/History: Mortimer was born into a peaceful world. Nothing seemed interesting about his normal life, so he decided to go search for the unnatural. He and two childhood friends, Vaan the Houndour and Kuno the Makuhita, formed an alliance of sorts. They called themselves the “Calibur Brigade” and they went exploring whenever they could.

When they had evolved, they set off for Treasure Town in search of more adventures. That was when Mortimer and his friends decided to make themselves an official Rescue Team. There were very few at the time, for there were few incidents, but they decided to devote themselves to the cause anyways. By the time the dungeons started to reappear, the Calibur Brigade was one of the few veteran teams in the Rescue Team Association. Their expertise was immediately called upon and they were split up to watch over various sections of the continent.

Although they were disappointed about the team breaking up at this point, they all promised one thing, the Calibur Brigade would return as one whole. No one would perish in their quest. With a goal, they passionately set off.

Kuno, who was now a Hariyama, lead one group towards Treeshroud Forest. Vaan, who was now a Houndoom, lead another group to the Crystal Crossing. Mortimer remained to look over Treasure Town and enlist those who wished to aid the cause.

Biography/History:As being a Mankey you would assume him to be easily agitated. Wrong, he was one of the only nice Mankeys in his tribe. Around the age of 3 (Lvl 3) the tribe members begin to teach the kids (At that age) how to fight one another, Kuma was thrown against his best-friend, he denied to fight him over and over. Because he would not follow rules, and because Mankeys get overly mad, he was thrown out of the village.He had trouble surviving in the wilderness until, one night a Lucario came along and let Kuma stay with him. For the next years Lucario taught Mankey how to fight without rage. A few months before the current events they were traveling back to town when they were being attacked by a group of Outlaws called Team Rage. It was a group of Primeapes and Mankeys, one of the mankey"s was his best-friend. His friend stopped the fight for a few minutes. They let Kuma go while they took away Lucario, who was no challenge for them. Since then he has told no one the true story of what happened.Kuma only says that “Master Lucario will be gone for a while.” He continued to train on his own, until now.
