Pokemon Diamond / Pearl / Platinum Competitive Run
After finally get my hands on a copy of Pokemon Platinum, I have decided to create a “competitive run”, similar to the HG / SS run held earlier this Summer.

Rules
[ul][li]You may sign up ahead of time (sheets below).[/li]
[li]The competition does not officially begin until either 8/12/12.[/li]
[li]You MUST have a copy of Pokemon Pearl, Diamond, or Platinum to be involved.[/li]
[li]If you begin before the date, you must be restart on the date in order to participate.[/li]
[li]You cannot transfer Pokemon over from another game.[/li]
[li]You are allowed to trade with fellow trainers.[/li]
[li]You can only use / have Pokemon from the Platinum Pokedex.[/li]
[li]Legendaries are allowed, however, you cannot use them in the tournament.[/li]
[li]You can have as many Pokemon as you want; there is no limit.[/li]
[li]Daycare System and “hireable” Pokemon Breeders are allowed.[/li]
[li]You are allowed to create “alliances” with other players, or you can single the entire thing.[/li]
[li]Underground games will be allowed, basically, you can have spies or whatever. Be creative! [*]Contests and Poffin making are obviously allowed. You are supposed to have fun with this![/li]
[li]You can join without WiFi. Pokemon Online simulator can substitute as a “Battle System”.[/li]
[li]Don’t lie if you use Pokemon Online to battle. For the love of Arceus…moving on.[/li]
[li]You can battle other players without it being an official tournament battle.[/li]

Battle Information:
We will be holding regular battles after every two gyms.
No grinding after you beat the gym.
You may continue training after you have finished the battle.
No trading from other games. (Only fellow players.)
You may battle against a fellow player any time you wish.
(Hint: If you want an advantage against others in the regular battles, I suggest you keep your Pokemon hidden.)
The battles will go in a familiar “Battle Tourney” like fashion from one of the Emerald Battle Frontier faculties.
There will be two separate tourneys. The two players from each tourney who don"t make it to the final round will be in a separate tourney than the winners of the first round.

Will take place in Eterna City once everyone defeats Gardenia. You are not allowed to continue or grind unless battling. You can, however, train Pokemon you won"t be using in the current battle.
