To keep things active in the community, Turt and I are hosting a pokémon tournament! The tournament will be held on pokémon showdown and not on the switch (easier to moderate, people can spectate and not everyone has a switch ofc). The battles will be determined from best 1 out of 1.
Rules:
The tier of the tournament will be gen 8 OU. If you are not familiar with this tier, visit this website: https://www.smogon.com/dex/ss/formats/ou/
Everything under the OU tier is also allowed to be used! (So no Ubers!)
Only one Pokémon of any given dex number per team (Species Clause)
No evasion boosting moves, items, or abilities (Evasion Clause)
Going along with that, no Pokémon with moody are allowed
Only one Pokémon can be put to sleep at any time on one team (Sleep Clause)
No conditions which can theoretically create an unending battle are allowed (Endless battle Clause)
No OHKO moves allowed
The move Swagger is banned
You will battle with the same team throughout the entire tournament

Time: 9pm UTC (Same time as events on sunday!)

1st place: 1st Place Ribbon, First fossil of choice, Miracle Chest, Golden Mask, Gem OR Crystal of choice, Electirizer, Magmarizer, TM Earthquake, TM Blizzard
2nd place: 2nd Place Ribbon, Second fossil of choice, Miracle Chest, Golden Mask, TM Flamethrower, TM Ice beam
3rd place: 3rd Place Ribbon, Third Fossil of Choice, Miracle Chest, Golden Mask
