Personality: Cheerful and kind. She is generous and prefers to see the positive sides of things. She is laid back and relaxed and often lazes around. She is shy when around new people or those she’s not comfortable with. She is easily excited and seems hyper when around those she likes.
History:
Her family lived in Lacunosa Town making ice cream and many other tasty sweets. She worked with her pokemon to make the ice needed for the sweets and to buy ingredients from the markets and shops, some far away, some near by. Time to time she had to go out herself and collect the items needed.
Other than sweets her life was pretty empty. She was the oldest child and the youngest adult. She couldn"t have fun with either. She lived like everyone else, clockwork. Living in fear of the monster in the mountains.
She would have adventures of her own while out gathering ingredients, pretending to be an explorer venturing into the deepest and darkest caves or swimming the farthest oceans. Most times she was cut short by time and had to run home before she got snatched, not that the monster had been seen for some time.
She was out gathering Oran Berries when she accidentally got lost in a blizzard, wandering into the monsters territory.
She was captured by the monster. Cold and terrified she hid in the cave while it searched for her. Hoping it wouldn"t find her she kept silent and still. Sadly she dropped the Orans she had gathered and was caught. She made a run for it to find it snacking on the berries rather than chasing her. She threw down some sweets to try and distract it further and ran. She always carried sweets with her on journeys. She had such a sweet tooth and got bored easily if she didn"t have something to eat or was unable to have her little imaginary games. She soon found it chasing after her once more. She dropped more sweets, it ate again. After it caught her once more, she realized it was more interested in the sweets than her. She threw the last and made a final run, escaping the monster.
She was too scared to leave the house until summer. She left in search of Pecha berries to heal her mother"s Froslass when she saw it again. It was at the entrance of the cave, watching her from the shadows, it"s piercing yellow eyes boring into her. It didn"t charge after her, but slowly walked, stopping when she looked at it. She cautiously walked, watching its movements. It took small steps very slowly until she looked away. Eventually it was too close for her to escape again. She froze in terror, unable to even scream. It didn"t attack but nudged at her coat, smelling the contents in her pocket. It tore the coat clean off her back and tore through the fabric until it reached the sweets. She carefully slipped away, forgetting the basket of berries she still held.
She walked quickly hoping she wouldn"t alert it by running to find it following her again. It was right behind her, its cold breath freezing the back of her neck. She was taken by surprise when it nudged her in the back, pushing her onto the floor. She was pinned down by it"s foot. It opened its mouth and roared, showing off it"s razor sharp teeth.
Before she could react it jumped off and ran. Her mother and father came running with their pet Arcanine. She saw the Kyurem limping away, flames licking it"s wing, quickly fading away as it picked up speed.
She was quickly carried home. The Froslass was desperate. The Poke Center was forced to close after a power cut.
Feeling bad for not being able to get the berries, Kari left, once again without her parents notice. She grabbed the berries and left. She was confused to find she wasn"t attacked again, then she heard a roar. It was faint, quickly turning into a whimper. She turned to see the cave again, the monster was there once more, but it was lying down. The snow near it"s leg was slightly stained red, the skin of the leg burnt and sore.
It cried out to her, whimpering at the pain. It didn"t seem so ferocious anymore, as well as that it looked a lot thinner than before. Maybe it couldn"t eat? In that case it would have went a week without food.
Kari couldn"t help but feel sorry for it. Carefully she walked towards it, throwing berries towards it. As much as it tried to reach, its neck wouldn"t allow it. The shoulder of the beast was also burnt and singed by the Arcanine"s Overheat attack.
Kari cautiously approached again, slowly. She was eventually at a meter and an arms length away. She tossed a berry again into it"s open mouth. It ate slowly, struggling to move. It was so weak it could barely stand. She kept on throwing it berries, not noticing it slowly edge closer and closer until it touched her hand. She drew it back quickly and jumped up. It looked up at her, it"s breathing slowly steadied, gazing from the girl to the berries and back to the girl.
Kari put three of them in her pocket for the Froslass, giving the other two to the Kyurem. It was barely enough for it. Kari winced as it"s head jerked forward as soon as she stood again. By now it was about 3 meters out of the cave.
“I"m sorry.” She said, running off. She came the next day to find the Kyurem was still there. This time however she brought some actual food. It had receded a little further into the cave that she couldn"t quite see it until it opened its eyes. She sat down outside the cave, the Kyurem had enough energy to drag itself forward.
The girl reached into her backpack and pulled out a first aid kit to heal the burns while the Dragon snacked on the sandwiches and fruits she had brought. It whimpered and growled as she applied the medicines, but not much else, it was too busy eating.
After applying bandages she left it to finish eating. She came back every day then and fed it. Slowly it grew stronger and stronger until it was able to stand and leave its cave. She still came back to find it standing and waiting for it.
One day she had gone to see it. She brought sweets for it seeing he could now feed himself. Despite seeing him every day she hadn"t really had much of the courage to get that close, other than when she healed him. She tossed the poffins into its open mouth and it ate them happily. She then noticed on the floor behind him a pile of berries. After feeding it turned around and pushed a few towards the girl. She was touched by this and laughed. The Kyurem simply watched as she picked them up and put them into the basket she had used to carry the sweets.
While she picked them up it got closer and put its head into her shoulder. She froze there for a second, somewhat startled and confused that she hadn"t heard him, but somewhat relieved. She hugged him back. It was the start of a beautiful friendship.
She was nicknamed Kori after capturing the Kyurem to prove it was in fact friendly. At first they were distrusting, but eventually they warmed up to the gentle giant and grew used to having the Ice Dragon walking around their village.
It all changed the day the Master"s messenger appeared. The day she got that silver feather and that Pokeball. A Pokeball of Black and Blue.

Name: Kyurem

Species: Kyurem
Moveset: Dragon Pulse, Hyper Voice, Shadow Ball, Psychic, Glaciate, Flash Cannon.
Personality: Kyurem has a huge sweet tooth and is very affectionate. He can be aggresive when tired or hungry, but as Kari will tell you, ““he"s all bark and no bite.”” Seeing as she saved him, he is fairly protective of her and will seem rather agitated when she is upset by someone. Kari often describes him as a ““big kid””.
History: Kyurem lived in the Giant Chasm eating the people of Lacunosa town when they were late to return to their homes. Seeing this wasn"t enough to sustain him he resorted to eating other Pokemon and such, not even thinking about berries. After meeting Kari he found that the berries and poffins were much sweeter than any other meat, and he loved it. He continued to pester her for food until she had none left, in which he got angry and would try to eat her, only to find her gone. Eventually he found her as a food source and continued to eat from her and wait until she returned with more sugary goodness. After being attacked he saw her as much more, seeing she actually cared, he began to care. He gathered berries one day as a gift for her, becoming good friends. Eventually she captured him. He is now a good friend and a big part of her life.

Personality: Nova can sometimes be seen as an “older sister” figure to Kari and many others. She is protective of those close to her and easy to talk to, although it may seem she may not understand, she is a very good listener. That"s some comfort at least. She"s more than happy to lend a hand to those in need.
History: NovaFlare was found as a small Charmander by Kari. She was hiding underground, hiding from a trainer that had been chasing her. It nearly caught her, but was saved. She emerged from the sand to see the trainer"s Rampardos running away, followed by a trail of ice. She turned to see Kyurem itself using Glaciate on the Rampardos. Not noticing the Charmander, or even wandering why it was attacking, Kari left without talking to the Trainer, rather confused at why it attacked Kyurem.
Nova quickly snuck out and walked under the Kyurem"s body until it was safe. However, Kyurem quickly noticed the burning flame under neath him and attacked by stomping down at it. Nova had to dodge and run away once more, sadly she was frozen by Kyurem"s Glaciate attack. Not believing her luck, Kari quickly caught the Shiny Charmander and trained it to the Charizard she is today. Kari usually uses her to fly from place to place and is usually the first sent out in a battle because of her speed and strength and her variety of attacks.

Personality: Raven is a very mysterious character with a violent nature and a bad temper. Because she is quick to anger, she"s quick to fight. She is very fast which gives her an advantage in battle, also considering her favorite move, Camouflage, she is tricky to hit. She appears rather distant from Kari and the other Pokemon, though she does appear fond of younger Pokemon with a faint, but natural motherly instinct.
History: Raven"s home was burnt down by a pack of Houndoom and was orphaned as a Sewaddle. She quickly found a new home and protected it carefully. As a Leavanny She was known for defeating weak trainers who got lost in the woods and would often stop them entering at all. She was captured by a trainer who was able to trick her into leaving the forest and was defeated by his Blaziken who was too fast for her. She was released because of her defiance, attacking the trainer whenever she was released or attacking the friendly Pokemon in a tag battle. She was injured by the Blaziken"s Blaze Kick after being released. Due to her being wild he had no reason to help her and left. She was forced to tend to herself, but the burn got worse. She was eventually found by a girl who battled her and won. She was still defiant but found that Kari just kept on trying and trying. Eventually Raven gave in and decided to put up with her for now. She has a large black burn on her right arm which usually starts hurting when touched.

Moveset: Stone Edge, Dragon Pulse, Bulldoze, Steel Wing, U-Turn,Crunch
Personality: Gale has a calm nature and isn"t easy to anger. She loves to sunbathe and fly high in the sky. She doesn"t like it when her plumage is dirty, almost always preening her feathers to perfection. She is very bit on aesthetics and prefers contests to battles, but that doesn"t mean she dislikes them.
History: Gale was revived from a fossil found in the desert resort. She used to have major trouble flying, even after evolving. After getting helo from Nova, she eventually took wing and found it easy as breathing afterwards.

Name: Sparx

Species: Lanturn
Moveset: Signal Beam, Hydro Pump, Discharge, Aqua Ring, Ice Beam, Whirlpool
Personality: Sparx is playful and mischievous. She likes to play pranks on people by spraying them with water or giving them static shocks. One of her favorites is shocking them or spraying them in their sleep. She can be serious when she has to, but a lot of times she won"t be able to keep it up. She loves attention and affection and showing off her skills.
History: Sparx was fished up while Kari was on holiday in Johto. She was surprisingly a skilled fighter and battled bravely until she was defeated by Raven"s Leaf Blade. She managed to take down Nova and Gale easily, Nova being a Charmeleon and Gale an Archen. She likes to tease Nova about it, but is good friends with Gale so doesn"t tease her. She is wary of Raven and dislikes her attitude. Sparx loves swimming in the deep or in the dark because she gets attention because of her light. She likes both battles and contests evenly, but uses a lot of contest moves in battle or uses full power attacks in contests to show variety and understanding of both paths a trainer can take.
Other:She has a bracelet of bells tied around her left fin. She takes them off before a battle to avoid detection. She often plays with these bells playing tunes or making random sounds.|Pokemon 6
Name: Leonidas

Species: Gallade
Moveset: Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Psycho Cut, Night Slash, Brick Break, Magical Leaf.
Personality: Leo is playful and enjoys to battle. He fights fairly and doesn"t like to cheat. He still likes to dance from when he was a Kirlia, which may seem a little weird, but it"s just who he is. He likes to sit on Nova"s back while she flies, having a love of flying and an odd interest in the sky.
History: The newest addition to the team. Leonidas was met as a Kirlia, an outcast by its trainer. Its trainer tried to force it to evolve into a Gallade, but was worried it"d turn out as a Gardevoir. He didn"t know that Kirlia would need a Dawn Stone and went on trying to force it. Leonidas eventually grew ill and the trainer abandoned it not wanting to be caught and marked as a bad trainer. He was found by Kari who took him to the Pokemon Center. She didn"t force him to do anything which was different for him. She had a different way of fighting which made it easier for him rather than forcing him to use physical moves, she went with what was best for him.
He was given the offer to evolve when Kari bought a Dawn Stone from a traveling salesman. Eager to evolve, Leo accepted and evolved into a Gallade. Although he preferred Special attacks at first he found Physical ones easier and continued to use them again instead. He doesn"t get on well with Raven seeing as they fight in slightly similar ways. He gets angry since she almost always defeats him.

Personality: Matt likes to keep to himself, usually reading books or writing stories in his spare time. He likes to draw as much as he loves to write. He is quite creative and always seems to think of an idea when one is needed, whether it’s a good one or a bad one. He is a quick thinker and likes to play games with others. He enjoys philosophical arguments.
History: Yamato went to a highly ranked school known for it’s up to date technology and laid back attitude towards students, giving them freedom to teach themselves if they wished. Sadly it only let ‘gifted’ students in. Yamato never really took learning that seriously, usually using common sense to answer questions in his tests. His grades weren’t excellent, but were rather average for that school if not on the low side. Eventually he was encouraged to go to revision clubs and such after school seeing as he wouldn’t pay attention during classes. His grades slowly went up, but he still wasn’t at the top. He was forced to leave after the new champion had announced his ban on trainers. Yamato was an excellent trainer in the school, but still not the best. He didn’t want to stay in a school that didn’t agree to his terms. He didn’t care about anyone else’s opinion, he just wanted to be accepted.
His father died in an accident shortly before he was born. His mother struggled to raise him alone, working pretty much all day but Sunday, being a dedicated Christian. Matt adored his mother, but sadly one day they had an argument. His mother had accused him of being rude and inconsiderate and he got angry, claiming she has no time for him because of work and that he doesn’t know how she feels to know what to say or do. She became angry. The next day she bought him a necklace. He complained it looked girly but she said otherwise. He refused to wear it and stormed out of the apartment.
The next day she left without waking him up, without saying goodbye. She died when she was knocked off her bicycle by a speeding lorry, knocking her into the river. Her body was never found. Matt blames himself for her death, for not wishing her a safe journey as he normally did. He always caries the necklace with him, whether it was around his neck, around his wrist or in his pocket, he always carried it with him.
Since she was openly against the mistreatment of Pokemon, he hopes to one day defeat the Pokemon Master and save the Pokemon himself. He took the place of Lavender City’s male trainer who openly did not want to attend. They allowed it seeing as he was also strong too, but not the best. They’re not expecting him to last very long.

Name: Helios
Nickname: Helios
Species: Volcarona
Moveset: Bug Buzz, Heat Wave, Hurricane, Fiery Dance, Quiver Dance, Morning Sun.
Personality: Helios likes to laze around and dislikes fighting, however he will if Matt is serious and feels strongly about it. Helios is usually out of his Pokeball, but doesn"t usually fight as often as the others, but he is more than capable of wiping out even the strongest using his Quiver Dance and Fiery Dance strategy. It is because Helios so rarely fights that Yamato isn"t really taken seriously with his Pokemon choices.
History: Helios was found as a Larvesta who had gotten lost in the mountains and arrived in the fields outside of Lavender Town. Matt had found him and looked after him, finding that he often went missing, hiding from people. He was often found hiding in the cemetery. Matt would visit his mothers memorial every Sunday, that was where the Larvesta often hid. He eventually captured the Larvesta after it grew too attached to him to be let back into the wild. Now a fully grown Volcarona, he is loyal and grateful for the help he got from the trainer.

Personality: Calm and serious, kind as well as strong, he is a role model for many young Pokemon. He can get a little bad tempered at times, but usually calms down after the battle is ended, assuming he gets into a battle in the first place. He is usually last to draw swords on an enemy, but is more than willing to taunt from a distance. He prefers to know more about his opponent before battling them, trying different tactics and choosing which works best. He usually copies techniques strong enemies use, and even those who aren"t as powerful, but use interesting styles of fighting.
History: As an Oshawott, he was very timid and shy of others. He was scolded by his mother who guarded a large lake, protecting the Pokemon in the forest from poachers and hunters after the famous Azelf who lives there.
He was to be next in line until he was attacked by a poacher"s pokemon. He was captured and separated from his friends and family. He was trained into being a poacher"s Pokemon, in fear he followed. He was eventually forced to return home and capture Azelf with his trainer and a few other Pokemon. He battled his mother, currently a Dewott. He won, only by cheating and ganging up on her. She didn"t recognize him until she too was captured. Azelf wasn"t taken and escaped due to Squall"s hesitance. He ran away after that mission in fear and shock. The disappointment of his mother lasting forever in his eyes. He was captured by Matt after being defeated as any ordinary Pokemon. He one day hopes to make up for his mistakes and work for the protection of Pokemon and humans alike.

Moveset: Psycho Cut, Sucker Punch, Poison Jab, Stone Edge, Shadow Claw, Brick Break
Personality: Some times you can be too serious. Aegis is an example of this. She rivals many Pokemon and makes enemies very easily. She often settles things with fights and battles of both strength, speed and wits. Although she is a steel type she is extremely agile and skilled in quick but powerful strikes. However, rather than putting energy into delivering powerful attacks, she decided to conserve energy and strike an opponents weak points for more damage and less hassle. Sometimes though she does use powerful attacks to allow her time to escape, think or reposition herself.
History: As a Pawniard she was defiant, not listening to their Bisharp leader. One day in fact she challenged him. Her Guillotine attack was precise and well aimed, but when battling the Bisharp she was caught off guard and missed. She was knocked out by a single Brick Break from the Bisharp. She fainted and was made a mockery of. She left the clan to train. During her training she noticed how some Pokemon followed humans, these were stronger than most wild ones. She used trainers as a means to get stronger. One day however she accidentally made a bad choice, not noticing the Volcarona with him. She lost from a single Bug Buzz attack and was captured. Enraged by this she ignored the boy despite his efforts and continued to train. He noticed how determined she was and helped her train. One day she left back to her clan and challenged the Bisharp once more. He once again mocked her and made fun of her, all the others laughed and agreed, saying she had run away. She objected and battled him. She had learnt Fury Cutter which she found very useful, getting stronger each time she used it. She hit all his major weak spots, but was getting no where. She was badly hurt by the Bisharp"s Brick Break, but this time did not faint. She saw how she had become stronger and continued to fight, seeing her former leader struggle. She defeated the Bisharp and took the rank as the new leader, until she was reminded by the fallen Pokemon and his followers. She was a girl, as well as that she was a Pawniard. he saw it, she had been captured. Once again she was made fun of. she held her head down to find them all running away. She was shadowed by a large Pokemon behind her. She turned around to see the Volcarona in all it"s majesty perched on the trainer"s back, wings spread wide, head peeping over the boy"s. Aegis turned again. The Pawniard had fled seeing their leader had been defeated.
She evolved during a battle with a Tyranitar some time after this. She is quite fond of contests, although she is better at battles. She practices her contest moves by her own most of the time, because of her moves it is quite difficult though.

Name: Carla
Nickname: Carla
Species: Carracosta
Moveset: Rock Slide, Whirlpool, Earthquake, Waterfall, Iron Defense, Crunch
Personality: Much like a mother figure to us all, she is sweet and loves affection. She is willing to protect those in need and will happily take hits for them, considering her defense it isn"t surprising. She can have a nasty bite on her if she gets annoyed. Carracosta are known for bites which breaks steel and slaps which break tankers. Carla is no exception and can deal quite a blow if provoked. She loves to laze around and play with others.
History: Revived from a fossil, she never had many memories, only of swimming in the deep dark ocean. She was trained and raised like most other Pokemon. Her life is rather uneventful compared to most, but she"s had her fair share of adventures too. The biggest moment in her life was when they saw an Articuno flying towards the mountains while she was training to perfect her Iron Defense attack.

Name: Yokai

Species: Salamence
Moveset: Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Earthquake, Stone Edge
Personality: He is brave and loves to fly. Playful and sweet he often takes even strangers for flights in the sky. He is a free spirit and isn"t easily upset, looking on the bright side of things. He enjoys battles too though, but is often scared of using Physical attacks, so most are long ranged or special. He has a fear of getting hurt ever since he badly hurt his leg trying to fly as a Bagon. This damaged his bones and he has trouble running after a while so is forced to fly, but considering he loves to fly he doesn"t really care nor mind.
History: He always tried to fly as a Bagon, leaping off cliffs and ledges. He badly hurt his leg when he fell into a river, hitting his leg on a boulder when he landed feet first instead of head first. He had trouble walking after that. He was captured by Matt, unable to fight back properly because of his leg. He treated him, but it was permanent damage as it had been left too long. Yokai felt sorry for himself for not going to get help when he first noticed the pain in his hips. Matt taught him way to fight without moving, he had trouble, but found his attacks were much stronger as he could control energy easier. Even now after evolving he prefers to stay still while fighting. This helped him a lot as a Shelgon, too heavy to move very fast at all, tiring quickly.
A big part of his team, Yokai serves Matt as a main battler, usually sent out first to test the capabilities of the enemy, using speed and flight to avoid their attacks, although it fails from time to time, not being able to move his huge body out in time. However, because of his sturdy body he is more than capable of taking a few hits and fighting on, but because of his fear of being hurt he tries as much as possible not to be targeted.

Species: Lopunny

Personality: Marigold is a solitary pokemon who dislikes team work.
Her previous owner said, “Stay out of her way and she"ll stay out of yours.” Matt took little notice of it, but he soon found what he meant. Her personality is rather difficult to explain. She does have a noticeably bad attitude despite her innocent looks. She takes a few minutes of her time every day to groom herself.
History: Marigold was received in a trade. Matt traded a Magmar he won in a competition for the Lopunny of the contestant he got second place. She hasn"t been in the team for very long and Matt seems to have trouble with her.
Other: Has two red ribbons tied around her wrists that connect to her ears. It often gets untied from her ears.[/col]
