PS: Sorry if I have greatly misunderstood the whole concept of the shop tile, if so could it be explained please? This is just how I have interpreted it from use.
I understand the shop tile could be very useful and fun. Giving off a more shop-like vibe, and letting you actually leave your house, and having your items still available to be sold and secure.
But the price defeats the whole purpose of actually having a shop.
You have a shop in an attempt to make profit.
You’d just be better off spending 30 minutes using the /trade feature.
I think that setting them to a 1000 poke price each time you want to set up a shop tile would make a lot more sense.
In the case of permanent ones, perhaps around 10k each. You could quickly remake whatever you lost on that one tile.
Agreed, you cannot make any profit with these shop tiles whatsoever. With shop tiles costing the double of what your going to sell the item for, you have to sell triple the amount of the item and/or other items in hopes of just getting a profit. Cheap items come to mind if you were going to use them, but even then it’ll be more convenient just selling all of the cheap items at once using /trade constantly or other methods.
The /househop command is barely ever talked about or used because of how arbitrary the price is for them. It has a “I’m going to lose poke” vibe rather than having a shop vibe. Like swampert said, shop tiles should be 1000 or 2000 poke.
