Foreword
All of my fans of AA (Academy Of The Arcane Artes) might have heard the recent rumor that AA will be moving to a Forum which will function as the entire Academy itself. I want to confirm that this rumor is indeed a true rumor, as it was confirmed earlier today!
As of today, AA will no longer be posted on any other Roleplaying sites unless it is on its own! So now then, why I am posting this on the PMU site? Simple. Because the PMU Family has been extremely loyal and supportive of AA and I need our PMU Roleplaying family to join me as I create this massive project, especially because most of the Roleplayers on here have contributed to AA at least once or twice, and help make up the AA family!
So, let’s begin explaining the project, shall we?
New Stuff!
As always, there will be new stuff included in the AA project!
Teacher Option: Tired of just being a student? Lucky you! I’ve decided that from this update I will include not only a student option, but you are now able to create a teacher character. This means that I can erase any of the default teachers and replace them with your own or your teacher can be entirely irrelevant! The decision is finally yours!
Various Locations Included: Since AA will have its own Forum for now on, we will be able to make separate topics for separate locations. This could be such things as separating the school into separate links such as Dormitory, Cafeteria, Library, Gymnasium, etc. It will also involve other locations on campus such as the Woods, Soccer Fields, Mall (there will be separate stores in the Mall), Pier. Lastly, it will include Dungeons and the Request Board.
Request Board: Once we emerge further into the story line, I will create a “Request Board” in which will allow your character and your character’s “team” or whatever venture into dungeons and defeat monsters. I will make these up and create these whenever necessary.
Planning Your Own Schedule: Finally, no more of those obnoxious side classes. You get to plan your OWN schedule now, and I will be willing to make up new classes and teachers for you!
Making Your Own Profile: I will make one separate sub catergory for characters and you can make your own topic per character, this way I can enter a poll to decide whether you hate or love that character, as well as offer criticism and helpful advice.
And much more! I’m open to any type of ideas through this topic and PMs, as well as Chatango (CynderTheKid).
Undecided / Need Help!
Many things remain undecided as of right now. One would be an idea called “AcademyBook” in which would be a fake network created on Facebook intended for our characters (many reasons why this would be a terrible and great idea). Another one would be whether or not we would use the idea of people making their usernames the name of their characters (this would be a bad idea because some of us use more than one character, but could be a great idea to help us memorize names and such).
One of the main important thing undecided is the main base of Forums. Right now we are currently using Invision, but my sister (LunaLight8) might know someone who can get us a higher set of Forums for free.
Generally, I need help with a huge project for this. You ALL can help. But right now, I need people interested, and Moderators, Staff, and people willing to help me build the Forums / ideas. All ideas welcomed!!!
