I don’t use the forums that often, but I thought posting here would be much more appropriate than asking a staff ingame.

Anyway.

Straight to the point, I think that scald would be a lot more effective if it was changed back to a spray, instead of a straight beam type of move.

A lot of water type attacks, bubble, bubblebeam, watergun, hydropump, hydrocannon, octazooka, aqua jet, ect., the majority of water type attacks only hit in a straight line.
Only a few moves (as far as I know of) aren’t in a straight line. (I.E, Surf, Whirlpool, and brine*)(Not many of these moves are really useful compared to the others listed above.)

I think it would make a lot more sense for moves like scald, bubble, and a few more to be more of a 3 tile spray sort of move. At least moving scald to where it was before the rollback.

Scald is more suitable as a Line im afraid, I did a lot of research into the move via PMD3 and ect, it’s a Jet of Hot water, it’s not a spray…

It still severely limits the diversity of water type attacking moves. Which was my original point and I made very clear.
There are plenty of moves in PMU that ‘don’t make sense’.

Kirk has went over this several times and the verdict in the end was it’ll stay a LoS. It’s just something you’ll have to get used to.
