Can you make me a Meganium avatar and banner?
Not always true. PNGs are great in order to prevent the image from corrupting when it gets saved again and again and again and they’re also quite handy when you want parts of the image to be transparent, but on the other hand… they take longer to download/display on your browser.
For something like signatures, .JPGs are perfectly fine to use for signatures, as the images aren’t expected to be huge in proportions or suffer degradation in quality because most users will be downloading the original banner to view. :D
